Has anyone had an additional black screen tab appear within the apps sync screen when there are no apps on the tab?

Hi all,
The description of the question that I have put as the title is probably as clear as mud! LOL
So i have attached a picture so that you can hopefully see what i am trying to explain!
When I sysnc'd my iphone I suddenly has a "spare" black apps tab appear within iTunes but on the actual phone i only have the top tab appearing!?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
This is also doing the exact same thing on my work iphone!?

Do you have iTunes installed on your laptop, and if so has the iPad been connected/synced to it ? If you don't have iTunes installed on it then you can download and install it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

If you are using a PC then you should be able to copy photos off the iPad via the windows camera wizard, if you are using a Mac then iPhoto, Aperture and Image Capture can be used

In terms of copying your documents so that you have a copy of them outside of the iPad backup (just in case the backup gets corrupted and can't be restored back to the iPad), then it depends upon what the apps that the documents are in support - some use the file sharing section on the device's Apps tab on your computer's iTunes, some allow transfer to/from a computer via your wifi network, in some you can email them, use Dropbox etc.
When connected to your computer's iTunes you can also do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy the apps and any music, tv shows etc that you've downloaded from iTunes over to your computer - they are not included in the actual (just the apps content and settings), so for the restore to be able to work they will need to be on your computer's iTunes library so that they can be copied back

16bit? Pixels extending beyond the canvas? (from a crop with delete unused pixels turn off). Have you previously been saving PSD files?
IME you sometimes have to tell Photoshop that the first save of a session is JPG, and it remembers from there on. The way to 'tell' Photoshop that JPG, or PDF, or PNG etc are now your preferred format is to Ctrl (Cmd) click on that format in the Save As drop down list. So long as the file does not have parameters that your chosen format does not support, then this should work for you.
[EDIT] Just noticed that you did include 'Crop' in the subject line. Do you have 'Delete cropped pixels' checked?

When there are multiple users can the email files that are on the left of the screen be hidden from other users?

There are several people who might want to use Thunderbird on a work computer but I don't like how everyone's email files are open to public view. It looks like anyone can see emails without having to login to another person's account.

Use different Windows user accounts for each person, and set-up Thunderbird for each person's email account underneath the respective Windows account.
It is very easy to switch between Windows user accounts, and multiple people can be logged in simultaneously.

Has anyone had problems with BLACK CD-R media?????

I recently bought a few memorex black cdr's. Very moody in my system, sometimes say they cannot be read by the OS.

I'm sure others will disagree with this, but rather than email directly from the camera app, email the photo from the Camera Roll album in the Photos app. When you snap the photo - the picture is saved in the Photos app. You should be able to email directly from the camera app, but if it causes problems, try emailing from the Photos app.
There are any number of reasons why the app may have locked up. Unless you can recreate the issue and can pin it down step by step, there is no definitive way to track down the cause.

Grouping when there are multiple subreports with cross tabs

Not much, but good call.
While I'm not too versed in reading them, as I rarely branch out of the Premiere Pro part of the workflow,
a quick look at the EDL in a text editor names the files by name and then provides the timecodes for cuts,
and the like. There's no more information there than anywhere else, though it does tell me what parts
should flow into what parts. I could manually track to the appropriate places in the source files and see if
the cut makes sense, and then the file with the most sensical cuts is the one I'm looking for, but again
that would be a really long process, and would have to be repeated for each and every file.
Definite credit for thinking of it, though. I hadn't thought of what I could glean from there.
As for crashing, I've been taking it slow trying to not risk making mistakes and needing to go back and
re-reimport the files, but I'd assume Premiere Pro doesn't like it too much when you ask it to pull footage
from the fifteenth minute of a twelve-minute clip. I haven't extensively tested it, though, that's why I offered
the second scenario, in which it works and I have to figure out what's out of place.

As Shootist pointed out, the system uses more power.
However, initially it will reindex the hard drive for spotlight, which will slow things down temporarily.
It also must rebuild caches that eventually will speed things up.
If it has completed indexing the hard drive (no dot pulsing in the spyglass), then there might be something wrong.
Start by booting into the Recovery HD (a partition created with Lion that has Disk Utility and reinstallation options) by holding down cmd-r when you restart. You can let go when the gray screen appears.
When it boots, select Disk Utility and Repair the drive.
If that doesn't speed things up, try re-installing the OS from the same Recovery HD. It won't delete any of your files, but it has helped some people whose Macs ran slow after installing Lion.
Also, how much memory do you have? Lion needs RAM so maxing your Mac out might also help.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Update 4:
I did get quite a bit of support initially although slowly over a period of a month or so. After Adobe FM support and my SharePoint systems engineer reviewed how FM10 was setup on my computer (which I am the admin for our department’s SP site) and how it interfaces with our SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition, there was two conclusions:
Basically Adobe FM Support said that FM10 did not support claims-based authentication and they can no longer help me. They said it will work with FM11 when it comes out.
My SP Systems Engineer, said that FM10 is connecting to SP 2010 just fine but that the FM10 has a software glitch that causes FM10 lose control when executing checkout procedure within FM10. I can checkout and edit that same file in SP with no problems.
About a month later, I upgraded to FM11 and ran into the same problem. I attempted to get Adobe FM Support to help and they said they will look into and get back to me. That was in July and I have not heard anything more from them, and to be honest, my schedule has been extremely busy the last 5 months that I have not had time to pursue it any further.
Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the SP interface and, overall, the lackluster support I received from Adobe. Having a working SP interface was one of the criteria for purchasing TCS3.5 (and subsequent upgrade) in the first place.
One thing of note, we migrated from SP 2007 to SP 2010 in February 2011 and, at the time of Adobe support, I still had access to my SP 2007 site. FM10 and FM11 had to no issues working with SP2007. Unfortunately, SP 2007 is not an option for me anymore.
Also, another observation of FM10/11 not working with SP 2010, it seems that FM10/11 is automatically configured to work with SharePoint Drafts folder locally when connecting to the SharePoint library. This worked just fine with SP 2007 but SP 2010 does not use SharePoint Drafts folder locally the same way (the programming changed, don’t recall where I saw it, probably when searching this issue online) and I suspect that is one of the main issues why it does not work correctly.
So at this time, I have not found a working solution to this problem.

Red artifact blob shows up in the middle of my screen when there are dark colours showing

Does anyone know what this is? Or why it is happening? There is a red blob-ish artifact that is on the middle of my screen and you can notice it when there are dark colours on the screen. It's really annoying when I'm trying to watch movies or play games that have dark scenes. (The picture quality isn't that great, but you can kinda see the red blob I'm talking about.)
Any thoughts?

IPhone 4s has yahoo mail icon permanently on safari when there are no open pages

My iPhone 4s using iOS7.0.2 has a Yahoo mail icon displaying permanently on the top of Safari when there are no open pages. The icon did not disappear even when I deleted my Yahoo mail account. The icon also has my Yahoo username displayed below it. Is there any way I can remove the Yahoo mail icon from permanently displaying on Safari? I cleared my history, cookies and data, but the Yahoo icon is still there.

I have the same issue and koban4max's sugggestion doesn't work (well, it works, but you'll need to do it once a day.) I am surprised this hasn't been widely reported either as an iphone, Verizon or Yahoo issue. I tried various suggestions (deleting/re-adding account, moving messages to a new folder and changing password on computer/iphone, etc.) It will push for a while but stop pushing in a few hours or a few days. This leads me to believe somewhere in the interface corrupts the process. I would love to know if it's unique to Verizon, iphone 4S or IOS 5, or all of the above. The phone doesn't even fetch according to schedule, only when you are in the application. BTW, the Exchange push solution for Gmail works wonderfully.
