How can call/access ADF page in OAF rich container

Hi,
I want to access ADF page it's typicall have some graphs in OAF region
for this i have create the one function in EBS and added that in respective responsibility.
i have creted one region--->item in my page and for item i put itemStyle as richContainer and in Destination attribute i given the fucntion which i created in EBS.
When i try to run the page i got the page not found message in region.
is any thing i missed out.?
Please let me know how can i acchive this.

Thanks for u'r reply.
My ADF app deployed in Weblogic server it's different server.
I am able to call the ADF page after clicking the Button.
I am facing the issues the calling ADF page in richContainer.
i got msg leike below.
The webpage cannot be found
HTTP 404
Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.
What you can try:
Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
Go to and look for the information you want.

1. Hope you have placed the custom jsp page (which you have downloaded from server) under "jdevhome\jdev\myhtml\OA_HTML" directory ?
2. Try to run the custom jsp page from Jdeveloper directly and check whether its working properly or not ?
(i.e. add jsp page to any project in Jdeveloper then right click on jsp page and select Run xxx.jsp)
3. If page errors out then custom jsp page seems require few parameters to run it successfully. Pass all requied parameters and test.
4. There is no problem in the way you are calling jsp page from OAF page.

How can I access eBay pages marked "blocked due to legal restrictions of some countries"/ All other browsers do not block.

Using Vista Ultimate 64x and Firefox (any version) I keep hitting eBay page blocks that read "Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries..." These same pages can be accessed with IE or Chrome so it is not really a legal restriction.
How can I get Firefox to allow these eBay pages to display? I include the url of one blocked page.

I am new to OAf starting to learn OAF ... i am using jdeveloper 9i version 9.0.3.5
i want to know can we design a PG in oaf ...
FOr example if i hav six fieldname that is personId ,firstname ,lastname,email,phoneno,address .... if i want to display the first 3 fields in the top row ... and the next 3 fields to be appeared in the second row
for that what i hav to do in the property inspector..... i am using messageTextInput as the item Style for this fields and region is messageComponentlayout
help me in learning this give me some suggession

Please follow these steps...
Step 1: Create a messageComponentLayout region.
Step 2: Add a messageLayout region to your messageComponentLayout region. Specify the Prompt value
for the messageLayout region (this serves as the prompt for the related items; in Figure 23, this value is
"Combined Fields").
Tip: If you need to add this region in the middle of a column in another messageComponentLayout region,
simply add a messageLayout region first, and then start with Step 1.
Step 3: Add your items to the messageLayout region. Do not specify prompts for any of these items, but do
set Additional Text values for accessibilty (per the OA Framework View Coding Standards, all fields must have
prompts or additional text values).
Step 4: Configure the messageComponentLayout region's properties as follows. This ensures that the fields
render as close together as possible in a single row.

How can I access "View Page Info" in firefox 7 or whatever the newest version is?

The new setup is real cool and all, but I can't find like half of the stuff I could in the new small drop down menu. I use the "view page info" button quote a bit but cannot seem to find it in this new layout. Where is it?

The solution would only work on MS IE browsers, as other browsers do not support an XML DOM.
It can be done, but you would be stuck with using the Microsoft broswer. If that is acceptable, I have some example code, and a book recommendation.

How can I access docs on a frozen Pages app? The Pages app froze up after attempted repair at the Genius bar last night. The IPAD was having significant memory errors, and staff backed it up to the ICloud, then wiped the IPAD clean and restored the apps.

Have you tried closing the Pages app completely and seeing if it works ok when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Pages 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Pages app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Why would you want to access your Pages documents on the iPad if you don't have Pages?
If you wanted to email them to someone, you could have done that on the Mac. If you want to edit them on the iPad you need the app on the iPad.

There is a program that comes with the printer called the IJ Scan Utility that can assist you with scanning multiple pages into a single file. To scan using the IJ Scan Utility, please follow these steps:
1. Start IJ Scan Utility by going to your Start menu, then selecting All Programs, then Canon Utilities, then IJ Scan Utility (folder), then IJ Scan Utility (program).
2. In the Canon IJ Scan Utility window that opens, click SETTINGS.... in the bottom right of the window. The Settings dialog box appears.
3. Click the DOCUMENT SCAN option on the left pane of the window.
4. In the right pane of the window, locate the SELECT SOURCE field and select the DOCUMENT option.
5. Set the color mode, document size, and scanning resolution as required in the rest of the fields shown in the window. Click DOCUMENT SCAN ORIENTATION SETTINGS... to specify the orientation of the documents to be scanned.
6. In the SAVE SETTINGS section of the window, you will select the save format and location of the document you are about to scan.
a.) In the FILE NAME field, specify the name you would like to give the file. By default the filename will begin with IMG; you can remove IMG and change it to whatever you would like to name the file.
b.) In the DATA FORMAT field, use the drop-down arrow to select the PDF (Multiple Pages) option.
c.) In the SAVE IN field, please navigate to the area where you would like the file to be saved once it is scanned in. By default, the file will be saved in the DOCUMENTS folder.
7. Once all settings have been selected, click the OK button at the bottom of the SETTINGS (DOCUMENT SCAN) window. The IJ Scan Utility main screen appears.
8. Click the DOCUMENT button. Scanning starts. After a page has scanned, the screen to continue or end scanning appears. If you have more pages to scan, place the next page on the platen and click Scan. Do this each time a page has completed scanning. After the last page has been scanned, click Exit. Scanned images are saved in previously selected folder location specified in the SETTINGS... window. Click the CANCEL button to cancel scanning if needed during scanning.

How to Call an ADF Bounded Task Flow Located in Another Web Application

I'm working in JDev 11G TP3.
I've read the section from the 11G documentation on Working with Task Flow Activities,
specifically the section 15.5.3 on How to Call an ADF Bounded Task Flow Located in Another Web Application.
I've followed the instructions but still can not seem to call another task flow in another application correctly.
Can someone send a small example specifying how the (TaskFlow Reference) section
should be filled in, and just a general simple outline of process to set the whole process up.

Your EL for the remote-app-url needs to return something like this
"http://www.acme.com:80/myapp/faces/adf.task-flow"
where "http://www.acme.com:80/myapp/faces" is the root of the url you'd normally use to access the remote application.
I filed two bugs:
bug 6944247 to improve the documentation
bug 6944246 to fix the fact that you currently have to specify the 'adf.task-flow' part. You shouldn't need to do that. But doing so for now will get it to work.
