How can I mapping directory by using Weblogic Server?

Hi,
We used to use iPlant as the web server. How can mapping directory using Weblogic
server?
$PATH=$wl_home/config/epdm/applications/DefaultWebApp/WEB-INF/classes
such as to map the following:
From To
/rok/servlet $PATH/servlet-dev/WEB-INF/classes
/rok/imagest $PATH/servlet-dev/images
/rok/html $PATH/servlet-dev/htm
/servlet $PATH/servlet-dev/servlet

maybe it's a bit overkill to use the JCA File Adapter

which has a "directory listing" feature
but I think it's not very recommended to use directly the java.io.File class to perform this operation...
any other thoughts?

logging info. How can I get the servers name?
When I load the JNDI tree and select java:comp, an error occurs and a lot of information
is printed. One is weblogic.Server and that is what I´m searching for.
I use WLS 6.1 SP1

How to load Java properties file dynamically using weblogic server

Hi,
We are using Java properties file in Java code. Properties in java properties file are frequently modified. If I keep these properties file in project classpath or as part of war, I will have to redeploy application after each change.
We are using Weblogic Server.
Can you please suggest me how can this properties file be loaded at weblogic server startup. Then in that case, how to refer property file in Java code?
What is the best practice for this?

Another alternative is, keep the property file in any pre-defined location. Write a class which reads the properties from the file and returns the one which is requested by caller and deploy this class. Whenever you have to change the properties just update the property file on server and next call to fetch the property should return the updated one.
Downside of this approach is file I/O everytime. To overcome that you can actually "cache" the properties in a hashmap. Basically when any property if requested, first check the hashmap, if not found then only read from property file and also update in hash map. Next time same property will be returned from hash map itself. The hash map will be cleared at every server restart since its in the memory. You will also need to build a method to clear the hashmap when you update the values in the property file on server.
This solution would be suitable for small size files and when network overhead of calling a DB needs to be avoided.

I want to craete a report on number of total business and system faults with the help of Information Publisher in OEM 12c Cloud Control. I am fetching data from the table composite_instance_fault present in SOAINFRA schema. Below os my SQL statement:-
select error_category,count(error_category) from prefix_SOAINFRA.composite_instance_fault where composite_dn=??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? group by error_category
Now I want to know that how can I map the composite_dn name with a composite in run time. When we fetch data from the repository we used to map target in rumtime by using ??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? but here as I am not fetching data from repository, how can I map target in run time.
On executing the above SQL statement its returing an empty table without any data.
Please guide!!

iWeb uses the domain.sites2 files to store its assets.
You'll find it here :
~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/
where ~ is your Home directory.
If you take a computer with you, you have to store that file in the same location.

I can only use version 4.0 for my online college classes so how can I go back to using version 4.0?

I upgraded to version 5.0 but am unable to use because it is not supported with my online college platform. How can I go back to using version 4.0? If I do not find a solution I will have to find a new browser.

I had the same problem (issue with Google Apps and XUL runner etc) of needing to downgrade. To pull it off I went to the main Firefox download page (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/) and followed the link to OTHER SYSTEMS AND LANGUAGES which took me to a page that included a link on the right hand side to download Firefox 3.6.16.
(The stuff below pertains to Windows. If you are on a different OS your steps will vary)
To do the actual downgrade (and there may be some other steps that would be wise to take but this is what worked for me) I merely renamed "c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" to "c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox bad" (in case I want to try troubleshooting the issue later) and then ran the "Firefox Setup 3.6.16.exe" file that downloaded from that link. That solved my problem and I'm back and running 3.6.16.
In case you don't feel comfortable changing things in your Program Files directory you might try a different approach and try uninstalling via the Control Panel and Add and Remove Programs (or whatever it is called on the version of Windows you are on) and then running the installation file. I didn't go that route so I can't tell you how well that might work.

You would upload it the way you would upload any set of files to your web server. Some companies have them set up as network shares, some have them set up so that you log in with an FTP or SFTP account, and some have them set up so that you use SCP or a similar protocol. Basically, you will want to publish to web and then take the contents of the publish/web/ directory and put them into a directory on your webserver.

you don't have to :
cause they're defined as products:
SAP BW     2.0B, 2.1C, 3.0A, 3.0B, 3.1 CONTENT
SAP SEM     2.0B, 3.0A, 3.0B, 3.1A, 3.1B, 3.2, 3.5, 4.0
you only have to define WAS fo those systems :
you nedd to have WAS of SEM and BW
(instances of those servers ) created as technical systems:

You can try to use SSIS expressions in your DTSX package which reads the values from the file and then populates the recipient field. This would require some script tasks to read the data and then populate the variables used in the SSIS expression.

It could be easier to configure a distribution list on your exchange server or domino server, and then send an email to the distribution list email address. Then you could manage the recipients from the mail server.
Another way to achieve this, is to put a prompt in the data manager package to pass the recipient email addresses, and then pass that value to script logic. In the script logic it would call a stored procedure with the dynamic input and send the mail.

You could use the SMTP relay functions from SQL server.
There are various options available. each option has pro's and con's you will need to decide which is better and easier to manage.

Unfortunately it will be difficult. iPads are personal devices like phones and done have credentials. You can of course log out of and into the app store to download purchased apps but the iPad will then have all the apps of both your wife and you (though you could put these into folders I guess).
