How Does an Application connect to the DB after authentication

We working on a prototype to implement the OID
and achieve Single Sign On.
We have an OID installed,
The wallet manager installed.
The Wallet Client Installed.
We have an DN entry created into the OID.
We then login into the Wallet client.
How do we connect to the database..?
Or how will an application connect into the database.
We have the users created into the database as:
"create user <username> identified globally as <Complete DN for the user>;"
Is it through Net8 LDAP Native Naming Adapter.
Where can I find some more info on this LDAP Native Naming Adapter.

Are you trying to acheive Enterprise user authentication useing OID? If so you should visit our Advanced Security web page

There are a few technical whitepapers you should read there. Namely "Enterprise user security" and
"Oracle Advanced Security: Security and Directory Integration"

    ok, then:
    you need to make sure that while your doing this the system (R/3) is locked for users...if this isn't possible do it on the most calm moment (like the weekend or public holiday)...
    if you are at this moment :
    run the v/3 update job for appl 12. (empty update queue)
    run the delta ip twice (empty delta queue and repeat)
    before you import you can use program RMCSBWCC to check for any table not yet empty...
    all R/3 structures are empty now. You can import your modifications. Your delta will continue with any problem...
    However, the delta will not pick up the history of the new fields, of course...
    if you need the history for the new fields, there you need to do a full init...or start with all kind of extra dso and so on...this topic has been discussed many times on the forum, you can find many posts on it

    Sorry for my dilatory reply, what does your mean that IE dialing to connect to internet?  Did your system can connect to Internet? or just IE 11 couldn't connect to internet. you can
    check your IE poxy setting in Connections of Internet options.
    If you encountered any IE problem, you can try to reset IE for test to resolve this problem.

    When deploying ADF applications with database connection, you should be using JDBC data sources configured in the weblogic server.
    You could change the JDBC data sources to a different DB instance or location - by changing the JDBC data source and restarting the weblogic server.

    Thanks for your reply.  I went to Settings and About Phone, however, there was a "System updates"  that showed a history and a "Check for new software update" key.  I tried that and it returned with Your phone is up to date.  I guess I'll have to wait for Verizon to send me an update.

    iCloud email on OSX 10.8 does not connect to the server after sleep.  The only way I can reconnect the iCloud email is to restart the computer. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue?

    I would suggest you try opening "Mail">click on "Mailboxes" in the Menu Bar> and select "Rebuild" from the list.  That may solve it.

    If You run
    select count(*) from v$session where username is not null;you'll get the number of users connected to Oracle server,
    and yes , you could do backup while users are connect to db you are backing up.

    If you mean you don't want to see the stocks at all in notification center go to Settings>Stock Widget and turn Notification Center to Off.  If you mean you want to remove some of the individual stocks shown, open the Stocks app, tap the "i " on the bottom right, tap next to the stocks you want to remove, then tap Done.
