I'm having the same problem. It's as if my iPhone and MacBook Pro now have two separate calendars.
Basically, I have a MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion, 13", late 2011) that I sync via USB with an iPhone 4S (iOS 5.1.1). Before upgrading to Mountain Lion, all of my iCal events would sync flawlessly. But none of the events I've created in iCal (Calendars) since upgrading have synced to the iPhone. Likewise, no new events that I create on the iPhone Calendar will sync to iCal. Also, changes to an existing event (even one created before upgrading to Mountain Lion) don't get synced either.
Everything else seems to be syncing just fine though (music, apps, contacts, etc).

If you don't want your sister to make purchases on your credit card, then Family Sharing is not an appropriate way to do what you want. You can use Find my Friends to locate each other and you can use Shared Photo Streams to share photos.

If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.
You're getting this error because the store can not authorize the card with your bank.

If you access your account in itunes, you should be allowed to chose "none" as a payment choice. However, I do know at times that the service will not give you a choice for that. If it doen't give you a choice, and you have to place in a payment method. It's okay. Simply place in a credit card or a debit card that has to be processed as a credit card, and it will allow you to use the service. Even though you are not purchasing anything, your card will not be charged. I hope this helps.

Thank you for allowing me to clarify. As it says in that article:
"When you initiate a new purchase, it will be billed directly to the family organizer's account, unless you have gift or store credit."
These are the only current billing options in Family Sharing. Using a second credit card is not currently an option.

Sorry, but there's no way to force the iTunes Store to use your credit card. If there's a credit balance available, purchases will be deducted from that first.

When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
