How many threads can be running at the same time

Hi!!
Dows anyone knows how many Threads can be running at the same time in the JVM.
I'm making a multi thread client-server app and I would like to know how much simultneous connections the JVM support. I'm using one Thread per connection.

I think that I made the wrong question, as you said: "that means the number of threads currently created".
I'm worry about this because my application is already online (It's a mail server -SMTP and POP3 server using ORACLE for the users database- ) and some other user post in the "multi-tread forum" that almost any JVM can only have 700 threads created at the same time, and I've never heard or read anything about this.
what you mean with the stack space (memory??)
I'm using the JavaWebServer 2.0 and a servlet to start the main Thread.

Every regular DVR has 2 tuners It can recordp to 2 shows at a time.
If both tuners are in use,, then you can't watch anything else.
Want to record more, get more DVRs or upgrade to Quantum.
Lowere level has 6 tuners. THey support remote TVs and recording.
THere agin, you can get combination of channels being watched and recorded up to 6.
Need even more, upgrade to higher level and have 12 tuners to share.

Most routers specs I've seen have a theoretical maximum of 256, but obviously due to practical performance issues would likely limited to less than 20.
As said, usually more than a home user would need.

When you turn on iTunes Match, Family Sharing, or Automatic Downloads, or when you download past purchases on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, that device becomes associated with your Apple ID. You can associate your Apple ID with up to 10 devices, with a maximum of 5 computers at any time. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. You don't need to authorize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
After you associate a device with your Apple ID, you can't associate that device with another Apple ID for 90 days.

How many items can be displayed on the same line in APEX form?

I have 5 items that I want to display on the same line in a form, but the fifth item is displaying on the next line eventhough I defined it as "no" in Begin On New Line and "no" in ...Field. Is there a limmitted number of items that can be display on the same line? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance.
I want the 5 items to be display like this,
Appendix1 _____ 2 _____ 3 _____ 4 _____ 5 _____
But it is displaying,

If you define the 'Begin On New Line' property to 'No', it should work. I just tested it. Do you absolutely need to set the 'Begin On New Field' property to 'No'? That might change the facts.

How many calendars can you share with the same iCloud person?

OK Apple people, here is my concern:
I have several calendars in my iCal app. I can share one (home) with my wife but for some reason, I am not able to add her to another calendar that I wish for her to view/edit (work). She does have an iCloud account. The documentation on the Apple web site for iCloud states: " You can share a calendar both publicly and privately with other people. Sharing gives you flexibility in managing calendars. For example, you could create a calendar for your child’s sports team and share it privately with just the coaches so they can edit it. You could also share it publicly with all the parents so they can view (but not change) it whenever they want."
Is there a limit to just how many calendars in the application that one one can send as suggested by the "a"?

So any device could purchase an app/music/whatever, then we would plug it into the main Mac and transfer the purchase to that and then plug in other devices and add to them. Pain the rear! I think my example of tedious process above is one reason for iCloud. So, now with iCloud we should be able to purchase from any device and the other devices would have access without wires. I thought the only way to tie them all together is if they are all under the same AppleID. That is how iCloud knows they are related, right? Makes sense to me. However, on each device, we use their own @me/@mac email account to setup iCloud b/c each email is tied to that family member but under the master Apple ID for our family. Each email account has their own contacts, emails, etc. I thought that was the way to setup. Shouldn’t this work? Kind of separate but yet tied together via the 1 Apple ID. Thoughts?

i have both a phone number in Ecuador and one in the USA when i visit and i want people that write me on my ecuadorian account will be able to write me on my USA phone number too. i assume that since you can push i message to otehr devices you could theoretically do so with two iphone or two iphone lines?

How many learners can be booked on the same eLearning content?

Hi guys, wanted to ask you if you have any experience with booking more than 1000 learners (actually, I am interested if I can book gradually up to 5000 learners) on the same eLearning content. So I am interested in testing the boarders of LSO Somehow I believe it should be also depending on the technical infrastructure (server etc...). Or am I wrong?

Regarding your query :
You can book more than 10000 learners into LSO
About technical infrastructure..if this is about WBT , your server has to have capability to withstand the load, your sizing and infrastructure should be properly set.
If this is about Classroom.. you can book using backend or right simple add on program to read your learner details and book.
There is sizing point in FAQ note 746917 which will help you.

At the company i work in, some application has a problem where the same applicatoin can not be opened if there are already somebody else opening the same application. what is the cause of this behaviour?
another problem is some computer generate SSL integration error messages when trying to open an application. While at other computer the application run fine. Any idea why this happen?

Multiple Libraries for Video running at the same time on one PC

Hi Everyone -
I want to clarify this is for VIDEO files, not music for my 6 ATV's on the network.
Problem: I have well over 1000 VIDEOS in my iTunes Library, and I am wanting to have multiple libraries availible at the same time; not just whichever the computer has open.
We have several atv's on the network and I would like to take my video organization one step further; instead of scrolling forever in the atv menus for the video you want; I could make several libraries all availible at the same time.
Such as:
Kids Library
Workout Library
Parents Library
etc
This in turn would shrink the primary library and have less videos to sort by. I know how to create the Libraries, I just dont know how to have them all running at the same time.
Infastructure:
Windows 7 Ultimate with Drobo B800FS (16TB of storage) all connected to Cisco 3660 Gig switch with multiple atv's hardwired back.

iTunes can only open one library at a time. If you have multiple computers, or virtual machines, each could be serving a different library.

Dreamweaver and Fireworks won't run at the same time

Recently, I've run into a problem where I cannot run Dreamweaver and Fireworks at the same time.
I have Dreamweaver CS4 & Fireworks CS4, which I can still run at the same time.
However when I run Dreamweaver CS5.5 and try to launch Fireworks CS5.1 I get a C++ Runtime error in FW CS5.1.
And when I run Dreamweaver CS6 and try to launch Fireworks CS6, Fireworks CS6 freezes before fully loading.
If I run DW CS6 and launch FW CS4, I can get them both to run together, but when I close FW4, DW CS6 crashes.
Any suggestions would most appreciated.

Historically, I've always kept prior versions installed because sometimes, albeit infrequently, I need to access extensions that aren't compatible with the newer versions of CS. Since I can run DW & Fireworks CS4 together, I'm inclined to leave them installed.
I've thought about uninstalling CS 5, but I don't think that would resolved my issue. I've already tried most of what's in the Adobe troubleshooting suggestions save for creating a new administrator account.
I think I'll hobble along with my current workarounds since I'll be migrating to a new computer very soon, which should acomplish what creating a new administrator account would. I'll probably limit the reinstall to CS 6 to eliminate any issues that might be related to having multiple versions installed, which in reality shouldn't be an issue because again, I've always done that successfully in the past.

Can two or more repositories exist in the same rpd file? Can Paint and SH be in the same rpd file and be used by seperate groups that access completely different data sources?
In our case, the dimensions and facts for glass used in a car are very different from the dimensions and facts for a car's transmission. There are similarities, true, but they are still very different.
So, in one rdp file can there be seperate presentation folders for Glass, Tires, Transmissions, Seats, Axil, Engine, Steering Wheels, Head Lights, and etc...
Each presentation folder would be used by different people. Each presentation folder would access different tables. The Glass Parts business will use the Glass presentation folder, the Axil Parts Guys will only use the Axil Presentation Folder, etc..

As far as licensing goes, it seems that as long as all the Macs are being used in your household, there's no limit.
From the Lion license file:
