How to clear the contents that are present in a Table control. If there is any code Please Let me know.

U need to clear the contenents of internal table used to store the record displayed by table control.
Every time the PBO is triggered the table control is automatically cleared, so you need only not to transfer any data from internal table to table control.
So you should show how your PBO if you want a right answer.

If you want to delete the rows in the table control and simultaneously delete it from the database table, then you can implement a 'DELETE' functionality specific to your table control. Have a MARK field (you will find that in the screen attributes of the table control -> give a name for the MARK field, you will find an additional MARK column at the beginning of your table control). You can check whatever rows you want to delete from the table control, call the delete module.

How to clear the contents of a table

I was using a 'build table' to collect some datas and pass it to an 'Express table'.
what are the possible options to clear the contents of that table?
How can i clear the contents using a 'button'?

Build table function has an additional input called 'Reset'
Attach a boolean to it.
On front panel, set the boolean's mechanical action as 'latch when released'

I want to delete the row after the display of table control. I have created push button as delete row. If I click on this push button, the selected row should get deleted.
I have written this code,

Can you please tell me as to how to make the fields on the table control screen fixed (not respond to the scroll bar) i.e. simillar to MC88 screen , the first two fields are fixed and don't respond to the scroll.

In TC, goto attributes and set 'Fixed columns' as 2. This will fix the first 2 columns.

I have a table on my app UI. Now I want simply show the table grid lines (currently, the vertical lines between columns are not shown). Any idea?
Furthermore, how to set the width of the bord lines or even teh color of the lines?

Hi,
The demo link provided by Chandra uses Blue Crystal theme, hence it shows the vertical lines between the columns of the table. If you are using Gold Reflection theme, then to get the vertical lines, you need to play with CSS. Add the below snippet of CSS between <head></head> of your html file.

WD ABAP: How to get the contents of selected table lines?

I'm trying to figure out how to get the contents of table lines back from the UI. I display a table with several lines of data. The user selects some rows. I want to move the contents of the selected rows to another table. I have a context attribute, say DATA, with attributes FIELD1... FIELDn, using a DDIC structure. These are bound to the table UI element and the corresponding table columns. To get the selected rows, I use wd_context->get_selected_elements(). This works, but what I get from this method is references to if_wd_context_element. How do I know which row (row number = ?) this corresponds to? And how do I get the actual data? I want a structure with FIELD1 = value1 FIELD2 = value2 etc. My context attributes FIELD refer to table columns, but I'm looking for the table line...

Hi Ira,
wd_context->get_selected_elements() returns WDR_CONTEXT_ELEMENT_SET which is a table type of IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT. You can loop through the WDR_CONTEXT_ELEMENT_SET, get into variable say node_elelement which is of type ref to If_Wd_Context_Element. Then you could use the method GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES of If_Wd_Context_Element which returns a structure with values of all the attributes in the selected row.
If you need the row number, while populating the node you could have an additional attribute called rowno and populate it correctly. When you select the data using method GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES, you would get the appropriate row number.

How to clear the table control content

I am doing BDC for cost estimate change. In this the transaction KKPB contains table control. So when ever i process with particular cost estimate, i need to fill the table control with the values. Here when i am doing the BDC for change, i need to clear all the contents of the table control then i need to fill with new entries.
So my problems is how to clear the table control entriee?? please help me in this??

Im developing some very basic web dynpro applications.I have created one application to demonstrate use of SERVICE CALL.Now in one of the COntext Nodes,I have one attributes as TABLE.I have 2 input fields and when i enter any sel critteria in these 2 fields,the table is populated accordingly.Now when i change the value in the input fields,the new output gets appended in the output TABLE.How do I clear the contents of the OUTPUT table attribute in the method?
Can someone tell me the common methods used with context nodes like REFRESHING,CLEARING etc?How do I know which methods to call for what action of the nodes ...like for binding internal table to any context node we use the method BIND_TABLE...
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
To clear the contents of the node, use invalidate method.
data: l_node type ref to if_wd_context_node.
l_node = wd_context->get_child_node( 'NODENAME' ).
l_node->invalidate( ). " all the data in the node will be cleared
To clear a single attribute you can use set_attribute_null.

How to transfer the contents of a line of a table control to second screen?

Hi,
I have a table control and I have entered some contents in one line of a table control .
When i click on this line and then click on the detail button on the screen , it should take me to another screen and whatever I have entered in the table control should be transferred to the second screen .
Please could anyone help me out with this .

U need to get the index of the line of table control by command GET CURSOR:
PROCESS PAI.
LOOP AT ITAB.
   MODULE GET_CURSOR.
   MODULE MODIFY_ITAB.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE USER_COMMAND.
Module to pick up the selected line:
MODULE GET_CURSOR.
GET CURSOR LINE VN_LINE.
ENDMODULE.
Module to transfer the data from table control to internal table:
MODULE MODIFY_ITAB.
ITAB-FIELD1 = <FIELD OF TABLE CONTROL>.
MODIFY ITAB INDEX <TABLE CONTROL>-CURRENT_LINE.
ENDMODULE.
U should considere the variable line has the value of the index of the line of table control, so u need to calculate the number of the corresponding line of internal table:
MODULE USER_COMMAND.
CASE OK_CODE.
    WHEN 'DETAIL'.
* Calculate the line of internal table:
       VN_LINE = <TABLE CONTROL>-TOP_LINE + VN_LINE - 1.
* Read the data
       READ TABLE ITAB INDEX VN_LINE.
* Transfer the data to the output structure of the new screen
       <STRUCTURE>-FIELD1 = ITAB-FIELD1.
* Call the new screen
       SET SCREEN <NEW SCREEN>.
       LEAVE SCREEN.

How to Display the content of Excel file into Webdynpro Table

Hi Experts
I am following the Blog to upload a file in to the webdynpro context,but my problem is after uploading a excel file i need to extract the content from that Excel file and that content should be displayed in the webdynpro table.Can any body please guide me how to read the content from excel and to Display in the Table.
