    Heya Waleed,
    I use spry to create an autocomplete form that works great across browsers that have javascript enabled. You can store info in a database and parse the info to xml for a dynamic approach. Take a look at the filter examples in spry.

    In work flow Settings I selected to manually start .Is this possible ? if possible please guide me how to do this
    Thanking you,
    Arun  kumar

    Hi,
    If you have an instance of SPListItem, and know the workflow association name, you can start it. First you need to find workflow assocation instance and tell SPSite.SPWorkflowManager to start your workflow.
    See this for more information:

  • How to create pop-up text boxes?

    Hello,
    Does anyone know if it's possible to make pop-up text boxes/windows in iBook Author? For instance, I can click on a text on the layout and a window pop-up with another text, in my case, they're references/citations. If this isn't possible in iBook Author, is there work-around for this, preferably, in iBook Author itself instead of creating widgets/imagest for every instance of the references. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Hoa

    The glossary offers this capability. However, using it for that purpose might be a bit confusing, especially if you also have "real" glossary entries.
    I'm not aware of any other way to create a pop-up.

  • How do you create aligned interactive text boxs in a PDF with the same width and height?

    how do you create aligned interactive text boxs in a PDF with the same width and height?
    Without free hand creating the sizing?

    Assuming by "interactive text boxes" you mean form fields; in Acrobat, make a form field, then copy it and paste. (GIve the pasted copy a different name so they don't genetate the same field feedback.) Now you have two fields of the exact same size. Shift-click or marquee-drag to select both, then right-click and choose a command from the Align, Distribute or Center menu.

  • Auto Complete Combo Boxes?

    Does anyone know of auto-completing combo boxes written in Java? I have a dirty hack that sort of works, but if you type too fast the caret jumps to the end of the text it thinks you are typing instead of selecting the characters that you haven't typed yet.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Jrabi,
    Below is the code for KComboBoxes. Please be aware that this code comes with NO guarantee. It works for me, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will work for you. If you have any questions about the code I will be happy to answer them. Make sure that once you create an instance of KComboBox that you set it as editable or the auto complete function won't work.

  • How do I add a text box to an ibook?

    How do I add a text box to an ibook page?

    Not very user-friendly IMHO, but ok here goes:
    Place a picture of the band in your body background's CSS
    with repeat:
    no-repeat. Then add a scrolling division to your html page -
    like so:
    <div align="right">
    <div style="font-family:'Verdana', 'Arial', 'Sans-serif';
    font-size:12px;
    color:#FFFFFF; text-align: left; background-color:#000000;
    border:2px solid;
    overflow: auto; padding:10px; width:auto; height:200px;
    border-color:
    #333333;"><h3>Your heading goes
    here</h3><br><br> More text goes
    here<br><br> and more text goes
    here...</div>
    <p> </p>
    <div style="font-family:'Verdana', 'Arial', 'Sans-serif';
    font-size:12px;
    color:#FFFFFF; text-align: left; background-color:#000000;
    border:2px solid;
    overflow: auto; padding:10px; width:auto; height:200px;
    border-color:
    #333333;"><h3>Your heading goes
    here</h3><br><br> More text goes

  • Undesired bullet pointed text automatically upon creating a new text box

    Hi there! Due to the snow I'm working from home today but I have a little problem back in work that would be nice to get some help on before i go back hopefully tomorrow so i can continue at full speed!
    I'm using Mac OS X (can't remember which version from the top of my head but something quite new!), and InDesign CS3. Basically, every time i create a new text box, or place an excel file into the document (having to do a lot of that at the moment, creating a price guide), it is in bullet point form, and although it's quite easy to go and turn it back off, with me having to do this quite a lot it's getting somewhat frustrating. It does it every single time i create a new text box even if i have turned it off for the previous one
    I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of those "oh, you just need to..." problems with a really simple answer...i hope so anyway!
    Cheers dears!
    Linz

    Thanks guys, i now seem to have a related problem at home. Here i am using CS2 but working on the same document as at work. I have made sure nothing is selected and set my character and paragraph styles to basic, and hey presto, when i create a text box, all is well. However, when i create a table, and i type in a cell, the bullets return! I have just discovered that turning them off in CS2 doesn't seem to be as simple as CS3 - so firstly - how do i do that?! And secondly - any ideas why it is happening but only in tables?!

  • How to remove white bounding text box

    Hi,
    I'm a multimedia student and need to create a portfolio in Director and would like to know how to remove the white text box when writing text content? I already have a background and would like to have plain black or white writing on the bakground, do not want the white bounding box. How do I remove that?
    Thanks

    It really depends upon what kind of text member you used, but in general, you would select the sprite on the stage, then go to the Sprite tab of the Property Inspector.  Find the Ink setting and change it to Matte or Background Transparent.

  • How to disply the input text box when the data in the table is empty

    Hi,
    I m using JDeveloper 11g 5.1.1.1 : How to display the Input text box when the data in the table is empty or by using the dual table.
    Since there is no record in the table, screen is displying only the lable. not displying the Input text box.? Any property is there to enable?.
    One more case i tried by using dual (eg Select '0' as name from dual) created one view object and dragged in the JSF screen as input combo box with list of values.
    In this case also it is not displaying the combo box.Just displaying the Lable name and 0 only.

    Hi,
    I didn,t get you.Could you please explain. I am not choosing the ADF table. Selecting and dragging ADF form only.

  • How do I Expand the Text Box in Mail Stationery?

    I have a question about using stationery in Mail. Is there anything I can do to make the text box in certain templates to hold more content? It seems that, in some templates (like Bamboo, for example), the text box expands automatically as more content is keyed in. Yet, in the Tack Board template, for example, the text box does not expand beyond what seems to be a fixed length for content. How can I get the text box in Tack Board to expand for additional content?

    Please check text input state defined , also if the form is inserted in any container then try to test out the form with different text input boxes in a new page.
    Additionally , check the mid-hieght of text inserted in frame.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • How can i pin a text box to the bottom of a VBOX

    Hi,
    Thank you in advance for your time, the question is how do i pin a text box to the bottom of a VBox, i dont know what code to add kindly help me out. The code i have with me is
    VBox {
    translateX: 10
    translateY: 10
    spacing: 20
    content: [
    Label {
    text: "TextBox:"
    TextBox {
    layoutInfo: LayoutInfo { minWidth: 100 width: 150 maxWidth: 200 }
    ] //contents
    //VBox
    now the text box has to go to the bottom of the VBox even if the VBox has other objects or if its resized.
    Regards,
    Kibu

    Vbox, acts much like a linear layout like in other languages.
    Just keep your declared textbox at the bottom of your content (content :[] ), then the text box will continue to get pushed further down your view, as you add other controls to your content.
    layoutX and layoutY will just increase your spacing from the previous declared control in that content.

  • How do I turn off text box in pages?

    how do I turn off text box in pages?

    Thank you Peter and Jerry.
    Screen shot above. I know it's not much, but there it is.
    In actual fact I can make the text box bigger, but I just want to have the option of not having a text box.
    It should be simple, and not actually need a screen shot: just simple instructions. It seems pretty fundamental to me.  Does anyone know how to do this?
    Best, Angela
