How to create a node with attributes at runtime in webdynpro for ABAP?

Hi Experts,
         How to create a node with attributes at runtime in webdynpro for ABAP? What classes or interfaces I should use? Please provide some sample code.
I have checked IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO and there is ADD_NEW_CHILD_NODE method. But this is not creating any node. I this this creates only a "node info" object.
I even check IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE but i could not find any method that creates a node with attribute.

I am trying to create a new node. That is
CONTEXT
- DYNFLIGHT
CARRID
CONNID
As you see above I am trying to create 'DYNFLIGHT' along with the 2 attributes which are inside this node. The structure of the node that is, no.of attributes may vary based on some condition. Thats why I am trying to create a node dynamically.
Also I cannot define the structure in the ABAP dictionary because it changes based on condition

DI API - accessing objects with Read only permissions

Scenario: I have setup a user in B1 with "Read Only permissions" on the Business Partner. When I log into the DI API as this user and try instantiating the BP object, I get a message "Loged on user does not have permissions".
Why am I getting this? Shouldnt I be able to instantiate the object and read the property values. i understand that I cannot Add or Update because of read only permissions.
Is there a way we can retreive values for users using the DI API or should the best option be to write a SQL statement.

Requiring the user to have full authorization to instantiate an object is a serious limitation for the DI API. It makes it virtually useless. After all it is supposed to be OOP and all the trimmings isnt it? It also takes a lot of control away from the user.

Hi,
I have confirmation from B1 product definition, the DI API access for objects with Read only permissions will not be included in the 2007A version. It will be considered for the following version after 2007A.
There is a chapter called "Authorization Checks" in the SDK Help file specifying:
"SAP Business One performs authorization checks for the business objects and the infrastructure and meta data objects. If a user does not have full authorization to access the objects in SAP Business One, the user will not have permission to access the data belonging to the business objects using the DI API."

Sharepoint Permissions Application user with read only permissions

Friends,
I am trying to create a separate permission Group for an Executive(Department) Team who can access all the documents and lists in the portal with only read permissions because they need to see all the documents and lists in the libraries.
I can add them in to SP_Application_User group but i don't want them to edit the documents.
If i create a new group and set a separate permission level with read only setting, they cannot access all the documents in the document libraries and lists because some of the document libraries and lists have separate permission which overrided parent permissions.

Hi,
For your issue, you could add the users to Central Administration > Application Management > Policy for Web Application and grant Full Read permissions.
With the configuration, these users have Read permission to the whole web application.

1. First create a user like readonlyweblogic using some password in Weblogic Console. In Weblogic Console itself, select this new user and go to his Group Memberships and add a Group named Monitors. This means this user has Monitor role for Weblogic Console. Monitor is a Read Only access role to the weblogic console.
2. NOW, with full admin privileges user, login into EM Console. Select soa_infra, right click mouse -> Security -> Application Roles. On right side, click green arrow and see list of Roles shown. Select the role named SOAMonitors, click on this. And add a User to this that is created above like "readonlyweblogic".
3. Close all the browsers. Open a new browser and test weblogic console and em console with this new user.
I have this setup like this in many envs and they all work fine. They are read only access users for admin console and em console.

Can't copy files from NTFS volume with Read Only permissions?

I am trying to copy files from an NTFS volume used previously for Windows onto another volume which is Mac OS X Extended...
However, certain files fail to copy due to the fact that I 'don't have permission to access some of the items'...
So I found the items which are causing the issue and viewed the permissions for them which display as 'You can only read'... I presume I am correct taking these as read-only permissions which (to my knowledge) should allow the files/folders to be copied accross to a new volume assuming that the existing volume is left without any changes attempted.
So can anyone suggest to me why this is? And how I might rectify the issue?

Ok I've just worked out that 'You can only read' is referring to the fact that I can only view permissions but not add any. Below this statement, no permissions are listed which may explain why I cannot access the files but does not explain why I can copy/access some files, also with no permissions...

Using CR XI. Using CSV input from ODBC text driver. No problems here.
There are 3 fields that I want the same group by action. Is this possible?)
If any one of these 3 fields change I want some header information and column fieldnames to display. The header information I only want displayed on the first page (on the change) and the column fieldnames to display on every page. I have played around with things like "InRepeatedGroupHeader" and "report group header on each page". I am not getting all the results that I am looking for though.
I want report to look like:
Page header stuff (to display on every page) This data consists of some fields that will have static data and will display on every page. And it consists of 3 non-static fields that I want to group on.
Group header stuff that I only want displayed on the first page on a change from one of the 3 fields mentioned above.
Column headings that I want displayed on every page.
Details data
Group footer stuff (details not important for this)
I get the expected output (column headings displayed on every page, and group header stuff display on the first page on each group change) with one group field. But I want the group change to happen for all 3 fields.
It seems simple but I can't find a way to create a "group" so if "field1 or field2 or field3" change, I get the same "group by" action. I just need to know how to get the expected action.
I expect that I might have some terms mixed up and/or some important information that would aide you in helping me. If that is the case please re-post and I will add any missing or mis-stated information.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to group by on more than 2 columns in a view.
You can use Data View Web Part in SharePoint Designer and add some changes & additions.

How to create list items with multiple attachment files using rest api javascript

In one of user form I am using javascript rest api to create a list item with multiple attachment files. So far I am able to create list item and once created uploading an attachment file. But this is two step process first create an item and then upload
a file.
It create an additional version of the item which is not desired. Also I am not able find a way to attach multiple files in a go. Following is the code I am using.

But this does not solve the core of the issue. You are uploading attachments after creation of item and multiple files are being attached in loop. This is kind of iterative update to an existing item with attachments. This will end up creating multiple versions.
What I am trying to achieve is to create an item along with multiple attachments in a go. No item updates further to attach a file.
Please suggest how this can be done in one go. SharePoint does it when one creates an item with multiple attachment.

Since AllowAutomaticASPXPageIndexing is a member in SPWeb members while not in Web members, we can not use Client Side Object Model with it. If you need to use it in client side, you need to create a web service for it.

Error when mapping drive with read only permissions - unc path works fine

Hello,
we have user shares that we map to drive H:. the shares are in the form \\server\user\<loginname>. The shares have full permission and the files and folders have full permission for the user. To be clear, the shared folder is \\server\user. <loginname>
are several folders, one for each user.
We use a vb script to check if a user stores too much data and if yes, we set the permissions for the user to read only and delete (with icacls).
Unfortunately, it this happens, we cannot map the drive anymore on Windows 7 (on Windows XP it works fine). The error is "Permission denied". Interestingly, the user can still open the share with the unc - path.
Is there anything I can do, so that the user still has his drive mapped? Most user are not tech savvy enough to open their share with the unc - path.

Please disable User Account Control in windows 7 to see if you can see the map drive. In the meantime, I suggest to use GPP instead of logon script to map drive.

How to add new group entry in Cisco Vpn using powershell

I am working on a powershell script to connect cisco vpn using powershell, I am able to connect to vpn but not sure how to add new group to vpn. I am using the following script$vpn_profile = 'Test'

Have you entered .\vpnclient.exe /? to see if it will return information about other switches you can use with this executable? Other than connect, I was able to track down a few without actually having the executable (http://www.scribd.com/doc/40108893/Cisco-VPN-Client-Command-Line).
That said, I do not believe that there is a switch that will help you create a connection. These are either done manually through the GUI, or can be likely be added by supplying a properly formatted file in the proper place.
If you're using the version of the Cisco VPN client I think you are, then your connection settings, or profiles, are stored in individual .pcf files somewhere on your computer (likely in the Cisco directory). These are simple, text-based files. Find one
on your computer, save it with another name, and then modify it manually. If you really want to use PowerShell, then use this opportunity to learn how to create and edit basic text files using PowerShell. If you have a standard connection file, then you can
put that file onto remote computers any number of ways. If a .pcf file exists in the proper place when the VPN client is opened, then it likely will not prompt for a new connection.

How to create a smartlist with music only?

I am using iTunes 7.5.
I have tried to create a smartlist to include Music only. So I tried to add a rule, Video Kind is not Movie. However, this is NOT working.
I have reviewed the settings after saving it. It actually shows the Video Kind with a "is" condition, not a "is not" which I have specified.
Is it a known bug? Any other workaround?

I seem to recall seeing other posts and have tried to use Video Kind myself. Yes, there may be some sort of bug (Try this experiment: Make a smart playlist with the criterion Video Kind is Movie (or TV Show, whatever you have) and click okay. You'll get an empty playlist. Select Edit smart playlist and the box will come up with no criteria at all. Weird).
So, go with the Kind is Audio for now.

How to create OIM group with partial edit privileges?

I need to create an service desk group that has the privilege to reset the password of a user but cannot edit any of the other user attributes. Also grey out the 'edit' button for them.
Also, members of this group should not be able to delete the account. I can set permissions and disallow delete but would prefer not to even display the 'delete' button to them.
