How to get the list (vector) of selected channels from the portal

Hi,
I try to retrieve the selected channels from the portal to use them in my script. I use "DataCheckChnls". Is it possible to convert it to a vector, to use it after in in for next structure.
I would like to do specific calculus for each selected channel. Must I use another method ?
Thank's in advance.

Hello!
Sorry, I trusted the DIAdem help and did not testetd it. But I'm not completly wrong
What you get is an array of strings containing the channel name. In standard use these names are unique and could be transfered to a channel numbers with the CNo command. Try this code to understand this:
Option Explicit
Dim aoChannels
Dim oChannel
aoChannels = ChnStrToChnList(DataCheckChnls)
For Each oChannel In aoChannels
MsgBox CNo(oChannel)
Next
If you realy need the numbers as array you can build a function to do this based on this code:
Option Explicit
Dim i
Dim aoChannels
Dim anChannels
aoChannels = ChnStrToChnList(DataCheckChnls)
ReDim anChannels(UBound(aoChannels))
For i=0 To UBound(aoChannels)
anChannels = CNo(aoChannels(i))
Next

  • How to get the Portal Page name from PLSQL?

    Can anyone tell me how to get the portal page name from my dynamic page using plsql?
    Apparently you can get the page id and work it out from there, but my calls to get the page id are not returning any values anyway.
    My code for attempting to get the page id is below.
    <oracle>
    declare
    v_pageid varchar2(30);
    begin
    v_pageid := wwpro_api_parameters.get_value('_pageid', '/pls/portal30');
    htp.print('Page is '|| v_pageid);
    end;
    </oracle>
    Ideally I'd actually just like to get the page name. Is there a straightforward way to do this?
    Thanks in advance!
    Sarah

    Few clarifications -
    1. wwpro_api_parameters cannot be used to get default portal
    page parameters such as '_pageid', '_dad', '_schema' etc.,
    2. Page information can be obtained through any components which
    are available in that particular page. For example, in case of
    dynamic page, we need to publish it as a portlet and add it to the
    page. This process creates necessary packages in the DB, but we
    will not have access to the portlet methods.
    So, I would prefer creating a simple DB provider & portlet and access
    page title from its show method as follows -
    //Declare local variable l_page_id, l_page_title as varchar2
    select page_id into l_page_id from wwpob_portlet_instance$ where
    portlet_id = p_portlet_record.portlet_id and
    provider_id = p_portlet_record.provider_id;
    select name into l_page_title from wwpob_page$ where id=l_page_id;
    More information on DB provider can be found at
    http://portalstudio.oracle.com/pls/ops/docs/FOLDER/COMMUNITY/PDK/articles/understanding.database.providers.html
    Secondly, usage of wwpro_api_parameters.get_value method is
    incorrect. This method expects two arguments -
    <ul>
    <li><b>p_name : </b> The name of the parameter to be returned.</li>
    <li><b>p_reference_path : </b> An unique identifier for a portlet instance on the current page.</li>
    </ul>
    p_reference_path would be something like 99_SNOOP_PORTLET_76535103 and not some type of path as its name suggests.
    The following code fragment fetches all parameters available
    for a portlet.
    Note : Copy this code into 'show' method of your portlet.
    //Declare l_names, l_values as owa.vc_arr
    * Retreive all of the names of parameters for this portlet
    l_names := wwpro_api_parameters.get_names(
    p_reference_path=>p_portlet_record.reference_path);
    * Retreive all of the values of parameters for this portlet
    l_values := wwpro_api_parameters.get_values(p_names=>l_names,
    p_reference_path=>p_portlet_record.reference_path);
    //Loop through these arrays to get parameter information
    htp.p('<center><table BORDER COLS=2 WIDTH="90%" >');
    htp.p('<tr ALIGN=LEFT VALIGN=TOP>');
    htp.tableData(wwui_api_portlet.portlet_heading('Name',1));
    htp.tableData(wwui_api_portlet.portlet_heading('Value',1));
    htp.tableRowClose;
    if l_names.count = 0 then
    htp.p('<tr ALIGN=LEFT VALIGN=TOP>');
    htp.p('<td COLSPAN="2">'
    ||wwui_api_portlet.portlet_text(
    'No portlet parameters were passed on the URL.',1)
    ||'</td>');
    htp.tableRowClose;
    else
    for i in 1..l_names.count loop
    htp.p('<tr ALIGN=LEFT VALIGN=TOP>');
    htp.tableData(l_names(i));
    htp.tableData(l_values(i));
    htp.tableRowClose;
    end loop;
    end if;
    htp.p('</table></center>');
    Hope it helps...

  • How to get the Portal Username to SAP Transaction IView ( ABAP cust repor )

    Hi Experts,
    We have an ABAP program that will be exposed in portal as SAP transaction IVIEW.  However the username that is being displayed in the report is the username that is defined in SICF > SAP > BC > GUI > ITS > WEBGUI.  I tried to remove the username and password defined, changed the procedure to Alternative Logon Procedure and deleted some logon procedure list retained Basic and SSO Authentication but we are getting DDIC username.  We have successfully implemented SSO, and it works in Personal Information of Standard ESS.  The following are configure in our portal:
    1.  We have set SSO ticket
    2.  We are using User Mapping for portal and ABAP System
    3.  Retain Basic and SSO authentication
    what could be the cause why the program (iview) is still getting the user instead of Portal Username? How can we get the portal username for our abap customized report exposed in iview

Which is the best way to get the system/host/port details of Portal System (EP). Im not talking about backend, nor of the WAS, but the system where Iviews are configured?

  • How to get a list of displayed leaf channels?

    Hi,
    I have a >1 layers of nested tab structures, I would need to loop through this container hierarchy to obtain a list of channels that the user is currently viewing.
    I am using Java scriptlet in a jsp... I have more control using java to get all the leaf channels, but is there any way to do the same using portal tags or even other easier way?
    any thoughts?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    With NI-DAQmx 8.0 (download here), you have the ability to query the driver for devices and their associated physical channels.  Check out the attached program.

  • How to get the selected values from the shuttle

    Hi
    Please tell me how to get the selected option values from the shuttle leading list.
    Thanks

    you can also obtain the option values present in the leading and trailing lists using the
    following methods:
    public String[] getLeadingListOptionValues(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean
    webBean)
    public String[] getTrailingListOptionValues(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean
    webBean)For example, the following code sample returns an array of values in the trailing list, ordered according to the
    order in which they appear in the list:
    String[] trailingItems =
    shuttle.getTrailingListOptionValues(pageContext, shuttle);Thanks

  • How to get the selected value in SelectOneMenu in backing bean

    Hello all,
    I need your help. I want to have 2 select menus with the second menu's items list are populated based on the selection in the first menu. I don't know how to get the selected value in the backing bean so that I can based on that select menu to populate the second menu's item list. Basically I need to access to the UI Component of the first select Menu and retrieve its selected value.
    Could you help me out?
    Thank you very much in advance,
    Lngo

    Hi Lingo,
    There r two ways of getting the values into the list. First one is hardcoding the values and the second one is use the list and get the values into the list by firing a query in the database.
    Inorder to display the values in the second menu based on the first onces selection we need to add an attribute to the first selectonemenu known as valueChangeListener and we need to sumit the page.
    Here is the sample code
    <h:selectOneMenu id="catalogue"
                                  binding="#{urbean.catalogue}" onchange="submit()"
                                  valueChangeListener="#{urbean.categoryValueChange}"
                                  <f:selectItem itemLabel="Select Catalogue" itemValue="" />
                                  <f:selectItems value="#{urbean.catalogueList}" />
    </h:selectOneMenu>
    <h:selectOneMenu id="category"
                                  binding="#{urbean.category}">     <f:selectItem itemLabel="Select Category" itemValue="" />
                                  <f:selectItems value="#{urbean.categoryList}" />
                                  <                         </h:selectOneMenu>
    now in method called by valuechangelistener we need to write the similar code
    public void categoryValueChange(ValueChangeEvent event) {
    String rfnum = (String) event.getNewValue();
    List categoryList = new ArrayList();
    List tempList = new TablenameDAO().getActiveCatByCatalogueID(rfnum);
              for (int i = 0; i < tempList.size(); i++) {
                   Tablename tablename = (Tablename ) tempList.get(i);
                   String value = "" + tablename .getrfnum();
    String label = tablename .getname();
         if (label == null) {
                   label = "";
                   SelectItem item = new SelectItem(value, label);
                   categoryList.add(item);
              bean.setCategoryList(categoryList);
    ///getActiveCatByCatalogueID (rfnum) should bring the records which r based on the rfnum
    if u follow this process i am damsure that u will get the values in to the secondlist based upon the first list
    Thanks & Regards

  • How to get the old selection in ListSelectionListener valueChanged() method

    Hi,
    Is anyone know how to get the old selection index/value in the ListSelectionListener valueChanged() method? The list.selectedValue() always return the same value which is the new selection. The ListSelectionEvent.getFirstIndex() and getLastIndex are always firstIndex <= lastIndex so that you cant' tell which one is the old selection.
    Please help and thanks!

    Just test the two indexes (first and last): if the corresponding row is selected, then the other is unselected. That gives you the old (unselected) and new (selected) item.
    Of course, I have supposed that you were using a SINGLE_SELECTION model...
    Hope this helped,
    Regards.

  • How to get the list of database Views modifying the DB tools list tables.vi

    Hi,
    I have a problem, I just started using LabVIEW and in particular the LabVIEW connectivity toolkit and I am lookig fgor suggestion regarding how to get the list of database Views modifying the DB tools list tables.vi...
    Thanks in advance,
    Michela

    Hi Michela,
    since the VI you want to modify is part of a Toolkit, I suggest you to copy the whole block diagram in a new VI and then save it in a new location.
    Place the DB List Tables.vi on a block diagram, double click on it and go to the tab "Window -> Show Block Diagram "
    Select "Edit -> Select All" to select the whole block diagram and select "Edit -> Copy"
    Open a new VI and select "Edit -> Paste"
    Save the new VI
    In this way you can modify everything you want without overwriting the Toolkits VIs.
    Hope this can help.

    Hi Shailesh,
    Thanks for the mail...
    but the problem is different. ...i wanted a list of used quotations and not used quotations saparate list.
    because we have same vendor for same material different price .
    so when we create PO we should use Quotation only one time.
    poen RFQ and closed RFQ is different .i means RFQ not at maintained in ME47. not at received the price from vendor or not at enterd the price. ... so that is different..
    if the non used quotation will display in ME21N  document overview it should be very usefull...
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to get the list of component?

        How to get the list of component through java API in Adobe CQ5?

    There are probably more than a few ways, but here is a little component .jsp code that uses the jcr query api to pull out all the components and list them on a page.  If I know CQ, there might be a way to ask for a list of components another way though, maybe through another API, or possibly a .json url, I might remember reading something about that, somewhere, lol, but this at least gets you the list in a somewhat simple way.
    Code Example:
    <%@include file="/apps/psul/components/global.jsp"%>
    <%@ page import="javax.jcr.*,
                       javax.jcr.query.*"
    %>
    <%
       // Login to create an anonymous session on the default workspace
       Session session = resourceResolver.adaptTo(Session.class);
           //Declare a query for all the components in the system
           String SQL = "select * from cq:Component";
    //side note: if you want just the components in your site area, then make the query more like below...
    //  SQL = "select * from cq:Component where jcr:path like '/apps/yoursitename/%'";
           QueryManager qm = session.getWorkspace().getQueryManager();
           Query query = qm.createQuery(SQL, Query.SQL);
           QueryResult result = query.execute();
           NodeIterator nodes = result.getNodes();
           while (nodes.hasNext()) {
               Node node = (Node)nodes.next();
               %>
                    <p><%=node.getName() %> (<b><%=node.getPath() %></b>)</p>
    <%     } %>
