Why won't my computer pick up the wireless in my home? All other computers in my home can get the internet.

Turn Off your computer. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your computer. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

All the podcasts I subscribe to will pick up where it left off before it was cut off. That is, if I got to 30 MB out of 50 MB when an error occured, most podcasts pick up again at 30 MB isntead of starting back at 1 MB. Mine just get near the end and then start all over again after an error occurs.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm trying to download a 600mb video pocast from iTunes U and my internet connection is pretty shabby and drops out constantly, I get about 30mb in 5 minutes, then it drops out for 10 seconds or so and STUPID iTunes re-starts it from scratch...
This is extremely annoying, thank God I didn't ever try to purchase a movie from iTunes, I would never be able to fully download it!

Why won't my computer connect to my wireless printer (HP Photosmart 7520)?

Ever since getting the printer, my laptop has always been able to send things to the printer with absolutely no problem. As far as I know, it works because the printer is connected to the same wireless network as my computer.
However, none of my colleagues are able to print, despite being connected to the same network.
Is there something else they need to do? A lot of the time, the printer is not even showing up on their drop down box (when they try to print in microsoft word for example), but it always does on mine, and we are all on the same wireless network.
Any ideas?!

For issues with Mac I would suggest posting in the Mac Printing and Scanning forum here. Be sure to mention the printer model and also what version of OS X the users have.

Not all apps support screen rotation. The Home screens do not rotate. But also check to make sure you have not locked screen rotation. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and check that rotation lock is not on.

Right click the document and select 'get info'. Check the permissions for the file. If several of these files have the wrong permissions then you may need to repair user permissions. See this for instructions:

Likely either the batch of media is defective, or the drive itself is not working.
Swap for different media; for a different batch from a different vendor, and also try +R media.
The slot-loading drives on various Mac systems can and variously do fail. If different media doesn't work, then you probably have a failed drive.
If your Mac is of same the vintage as OS X v10.4 that's listed in your footer and you're not in a position to replace or repair the optical drive in your Mac, then you might consider using an external USB CD/DVD device. If you don't have another Mac around to perform the recording on, that is.

Go to About This Mac in the Apple menu.
Click on the Version number in the window that opens. It will change to Build number. What's the build number?
Also, what error message do you see, or any other helping description of what happens when you try to update.

System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x/10.8.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
IFor 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

When I export a PDF from InDesign CS6 with specific margins, Acrobat does not recognize the Art box. (I have PitStop Pro 11 for page box view)

We are exporting PDF's as you indicate. I see the same thing. The boxes are all the size of the original InDesign document. The PDF art box should be predicated by the margins in InDesign. When we had CS3, this worked great. Now, it seems that there is a disconnect between the two Adobe products honoring the page box size. I have contacted the Adobe techs via chat, and they had no clue what I was referring to. I find it mystifying that Acrobat can not interpret the art box set in InDesign as margins.

Have you contacted Sprint? See if they can resolve your issue, if you can't get 3G.
