Would it be possible to redeem a giftcard without actually scratching the code by calling apple support and providing only de serial number below the barcode?

Again, it would be highly unlikely by any means that anyone could redeem a code with just the serial number. Even if they tried to contact the iTunes Store and claim that they couldn't redeem the card, the iTunes Store again would almost certainly ask for a scan of the back of the card and the scratchoff would be clearly intact. The iTunes Store would just tell them to use the code under the scratchoff. I can't say that it's impossible, though. If I were buying an iTunes card from someone I didn't know - though I doubt I would ever do so - I'd probably also ask for a scan of the card to make sure that the scratchoff is still intact, so I don't think this a particularly unusual or unreasonable request.
But it's your friend's call as to whether he/she wants to comply. If he/she has doubts, perhaps he/she should just wait until he/she can sell the card to a friend or other personal acquaintance.

Now at home it wont receive wifi. It picks up the signal which shows in phones display but cant connect to the internet. Computers and ipod all working fine so I assume it must be a problem with the phone.
Have checked that wifi is turned on and tried resetting phone to no avail

Can I download the trial version of photoshop and use it as the full version with my serial number?

I have photoshop 6.0 on my current computer, I got in in college 4 years ago and the disc subsequently came to a tragic end after a collision with my dogs teeth T_T I still have the serial number though. My problem is I've just bought a new computer and I was told that to transfer photoshop to my new computer I had to deactivate it on my old computer and then download the trial version using the original serial number. Will this work?

How can someone redeem a specific track which I have sent as a gift in itunes.
It is nice to read that I could sent tracks , but there is no instruction in which way the receiver can redeem the track,
I'm handing/doing the single give-away for an artist, for the rest I'm not using Itunes. I now notice that the receivers are not redeeming the single.
I just want to know the procedure for the receiver.

She won't be able to redeem that gift unless she moves to Germany and has a German billing address on her account - all gifts are country-specific, they can only be redeemed on accounts that have the same country on them as the person sending them, and they need to be in that country to redeem it. As you are in Netherlands then you need to update your country and billing address (and payment method if you are using a German credit card) on your account to be your Netherlands address - a store's terms of use state that you need to be in the country to use its store. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Applications should not disappear all by themselves.
If they are then that coud indicate serious problems with your hard drive.
Backup everything up as quickly as possible.
Using Disk Utility verify your system disk.

You do realize that this article ( form August -beofore Apple announced the new iphone) was simply speculating on what the next iphone to be released would be.
You do not have to guess any longer. Apple has allready released the iphone 4s.
You seem to be very confused about what this is saying.
This article simply guessed that maybe iphone was going to announce a new cheap iphone at the conferance which happend a couple of months ago.
We now know that this was completely wrong. Apple released the iphone 4s.
The article does not mean that they would give iphone 3gs users a iphone 4 as a replacement. It meant that they would not make 3gs any longer and would now make a cheaper iphone 4 instead.

Apple TV requires an HDTV. It is a media streamer and all content would be available on your Mac so there would be no reason to connect it anyway.

If you cannot track it via iCloud, then you unforunately out of luck and will have to hope for the best. You can try and retrace your steps as well. There is no way to track it.

That probably means that you're not looking at a bug in Photoshop, but a problem with a driver - and the most likely cause would be your video card driver.
And sure enough, your video card driver is almost 2 years out of date.
Please go to NVidia's website and get the latest driver - then follow their directions for installation (so you don't get bits of old driver left over).

iTunes match will only work from a computer in terms of uploading new content. You should be able to copy iTunes purchases back via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11). The simple answer is that today PostScript really doesn't fit at all into the Graphic Design process, at least in terms of what the graphic designer needs to know.
Historically, though, the PostScript imaging model, first introduced circa 1984 provided the basis for the initial publishing software including PageMaker, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, and even Ventura Publisher. This imaging model included support for continuously scalable text, vector, and raster imagery as well as the concepts of a current transformation matrix that allowed arbitrary scaling, rotation, etc. and multiple color spaces (grayscale, RGB, CMYK, spot, device independent, and color-managed).
The PostScript imaging model was effectively replaced by the PDF imaging model, a significant superset of the PostScript imaging model, by the time Illustrator 9 and InDesign 2 were released in terms of support of ICC color management, transparency, etc.
The fact is that a good graphic designed doesn't need to know anything about PostScript or PDF per sé, but rather about the basics of color (such as issues associated with color gamut and what how that affects display and printing), use of text versus vector versus raster images and why one should keep content at the highest level of abstraction all the way to the rendering (or screen) or RIP process for printing. Some knowledge of typography also helps.
