HTTP 200 response - Connection Failure - CF10 local Tomcat
Hello,
I am invoking a webService, FirstData to be exact. It's SSL. I am invoking properly, and FirstData is seeing my request as valid and successful, but the response comes back with a 200 and the filecontent is "Connection Failure". No SOAP structure in the response. I found that this was a bug with CF8 which I'd expect to be cleared up in CF10. Is there a workaround? I've attempted passing headers in various ways but it continues to fail.

SOAP Adapter XI 3.0 - HTTP 200 response fails
We have a scenario where a request message is sent successfully to a URL by the SOAP Adapter.
However, the response message has an HTTP response of 200 (meaning ok) which is not handled correctly by the
SOAP Adapter.
The error text shown in SXMB_MONI is:
com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Failed to call the endpoint HTTP 200 OK
Is there something I am missing in the configuration to allow HTTP responses in the SOAP Adapter ? It is very odd that the SOAP Request works fine, but the SOAP Response does not.
Any ideas anyone ?
Kind regards
Colin.Hi Bill

SOAP Response change from http 200 to http 204
Hello
I must change for a application, that call a webservice on the pi, change the
SOAP Response from HTTP 200 OK to HTTP 204. I think that must chnage on the SOAP Adapter and wei can't change in the messages or mapping. Also wit a Fault Messages is this not runnig.
What is with BPM, have any body do somthing with that.
Regards TomHello Stefan

HTTP Responses with Flex, how to transform http 500 into http 200
Hello
We have deployed a Web Service application in our WAS 7.10 SP6.
Our application is a standard java 5 app with annotations (ejbs exposed as web services).
When a web service call operation returns a java exception (any kind of exception), WAS returns http 500 to the client.
http 500 cannot be interpreted by a flex client (2.0, 3.0 no matter which version) because of an interaction between browser and flex runtime issue. Flex code can only obtain an i/o error when http 500 is returned by the server.
The usual way to solve this problem is to create a filter that transforms http 500 to http 200, but we don't know how to implement a filter for web services http responses in WAS 7.1 or 7.0
Other solutions involve using Adobe proxy, but in our case we can't use it.
Is there any other solution to this matter?Hello

Secure connection failure in browser for https sites
Recently I kept getting the error message "Secure Connection Failure" when using Firefox to go to https sites. I had a similar problem when I tried using Safari to connect to https sites.
I fixed the problem by opening System Preferences > Parental Controls > selecting the appropriate User (as long as you have administration rights) > selected Allow unrestricted access to websites (by default Try to limit access to adult websites automatically is selected).
Once I checked unrestricted access I was able to go to the https sites I wanted, which were my bank's site and the Firefox homepage for FAQs. Then I went back and checked "Try to limit ...". That brought back the error message again so I checked "Allow unrestricted access ...".
The issue may have arisen because I downloaded a system security update a few days ago. Perhaps it reset the Parental Controls default.
It would be good to block adult sites but the alternative seems to be to customize in Parental Controls the sites that are OK. This would be a tedious job because so many sites are https eg this site.
I no longer have a problem but thought this might help others.Strangely, I noticed a couple of https sites I had trouble logging into from a link inside a https site.
In System Preferences I went to Accouns and for myself unchecked "Enable parental controls".
I was then able to log onto the the https site. -
I'm having strange random connection failures. Are there ineffieciency in my config?
I've been having strange, random connection failures and I'm trying to eliminate possible causes.
What happens is while I'm browsing on the net over wifi, a link will at random not connect to the site, but instead fault to the ISP error page. It happens with highly reliable sites like google, or ebay, or whatever. If I direct connect to the cable modem, the problem site is immediately available.
I'm sitting <6 feet from a 871W router (with antenna). There's one router in my building and others are at my neighbors.
Below is the conf file. Just to imagine how rediculious this problem is, here's a screen shot from a web page. This shows a web page I visited, and after clicking on a link (an embedded youtube video), the error showed up within the page itself.
Why would only some URLs fail to connect? Is there inefficiencies in my config?

I'm guessing that since overload is what--I understand--translates the one outside to the many inside IPs, that the suggestion to have only one overload configured means I should combine the two ip ranges into one.
I deleted 10.0.0.0 network. Changed the bridge references to 1 and vlan references to 1. Now wifi and ethernet should all be using the same internal network? That's the idea, right? Any more fat?

thanksPerhaps a stupid question: is MySQL running and listening on port 3306? The problem is not always in the webapp. Perhaps you can create a small test class that uses Driver to make a connection to your database.

Hi PI gurus,
Need some suggestions on one issue below -
Scenario - proxy (SAP) to SOAP (Web based system)
In the RWB Communication Channel Monitirong we are receiving the below error
" Error SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: Read timed out; HTTP 200 OK"
the request from XI system is going to target system and printing the lables (as per the functionality) with no issues but the comminication channel is giving the above error and this is causing the repeated sending the same request to target sytem and the data is printing repeateadly. This issues is occuring in Quality environment.
Strangley the same Interface with the same connectivity details is working fine in Development environment. But not working in Quality environment. Checked the firewalls settings on both in XI and Target system side and confirmed that everything is fine.
Below are the Logs both from Quality and developement are as follows
Quality ( Failure Case)
17.03.2011 07:19:59 Success SOAP: request message entering the adapter with user J2EE_GUEST
17.03.2011 07:25:03 Error SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: Read timed out; HTTP 200 OK
Development (Success ful)
17.03.2011 07:27:55 Success SOAP: request message entering the adapter with user J2EE_GUEST
17.03.2011 07:27:58 Success SOAP: completed the processing
When we checked with basis team on user id J2EE_GUEST, they confirmed that they are same in Development and Quality.
I repeat,, that the same target url and everthing is same in XI Configuration
Thanks in Advance. Points would be rewared for the best solution.
Thanks,
JitenderHI Jitender,

No SOAP Envelope but 1 {'}Values; HTTP 200 OK
Hi Experts,
I am configuring a scneario IDOC to SOAP , Asynchronous call to an https url that is available through internet.
When I try to post message to this url. I am getting following error:
SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: No SOAP Envelope but 1 {'}Values; HTTP 200 OK
in SOAP Adapter Log. Due to this error the message is set to NDLV.
I am using PI7.1
My Receiver Channel configurations are as contain
the third party url https://target with username password authentication. I have also imported client certificates.
Webservice host says its a problem with PI system and SAP says that its issue with Webservice.
Please let me know how can I resolve this issue. Am I missing something in my configuration. This is kind of a burning issue currently any help will be appreciated.
Regards,
RajHi Raj,
This looks strange. If the error text is telling the truth, your SSL connection was working and you could even reach some service that returned HTTP 200 OK. But this service didn't return a SOAP response. I don't know what 1 {*} Values means. It sounds broken to me. You can open a ticket.
But the reason why you didn't get a valid SOAP response (either a good one or a fault) is probably that your target URL is incorrect. Verify the URL and run the scenario with the relevant components (refer to the SOAP adapter FAQ note) on DEBUG. The default trace file should give you more information about this apparently corrupted response.

Receiver HTTP Adaper Response Message problem
We are using HTTP adapter as the receiver for one of our vendor to post XML PO's to vendor's URL.
We are using Transport Protocol-HTTP 1.0
Message Protocol-XI Payload in HTTP Body
Adapter Engine-Integration Engine.
When PO is posted good on vendor's site we get "200" as the reponse message and when PO is failed in the vendor system due to mapping problems still we get "200" response message, Vendor's are sending "400" message for the failure to update their system but our server is not waiting to get "400" response messages. It picks the message of "200" when PO is posted on vendor's URL it is not waiting to get the next message.
Does anyone can help me to resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance!
Mrudula PatelHi Mrudula,
Can you eloborate bit more on this scenario,
1) 200 - for posting successfully in Vendor's site
2) 400 - if Business logic fails at Vendor's site
3) ?? - Sucessful transaction (Biz Logic).
If there is only one response, which gives either 2 or 3, then you can pick up the appropriate one & post the sender with the results. The HTTP adapter's call closes once it recieves ANY reponse from recieving site (Vendor).
hope this helps.
Regards
Vishnu

Equivalent for IBM specific Error handling routines
Hi, There is a couple of IBM specific error handling routines - AFHCEEN (CEE3SPM) and XUFLOW in our FORTRAN source code which suppresses the overflow and underflow exceptions. Is there any equivalent of these routines available in SUN Solaris O/S ?
