I uninstalled Firfox and after I reinstalled the program Facebook works. I can use hotmail thru Internet Explorer but I wouild rather have Firefox work.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You may need to reinstall Firefox if files in the Firefox program folder were affected.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

And have you run the iPhoto Library Upgrader after you installed it? First run it, to prepare your iPhotLibrary for upgrading, and then launch iPhoto again to complete the upgrade of your library.

Why can't I open or read my email in firefox. This problem started last week, and now I have to use internet explorer to read my emails.

On Oct. 28th problem started when I went to email preview page and could not open or read any emails. I have been using Firefox browser for several years and never had this problem before the above date. If I want to read emails, I have to use Internet Explorer now.

You may have zoomed the page by accident with Ctrl and the mouse scroll wheel.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

Why am I unable to access my new Post Office Account they state that you will not allow and I will have to use Internet Explorer why?

I have just opened a new account with the Post Office but I am unable to access this on the net. Telephoned Customer Services but say that I will not be able to access through Firefox and will have to use Internet Explorer. Going back to Internet Explorer is not something I want to do because I like Firefox, please explain why Firefox is blocking access if this is true. I have clicked 'allow' but it made no difference and the only message coming up is "timed-out" when I have been much less than 5 mins putting security details. Please advise. Paula

I doubt if Firefox is blocking access. More than likely, that website is made to use ActiveX, or other proprietary Microsoft code, that only Internet Explorer can handle.
If you post the address of that "Post Office" website, maybe one of us support helpers can figure out the exact reason for that.

SharePoint 2013 - document libraries and newsfeeds are visible when viewed using Internet Explorer running on the server but not from any other machine

On a single Windows 2012 R2 server I have installed SQL 2012 and SharePoint 2013 SP1 with the latest update roll ups. When I remote desktop to the server using the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using
Internet Explorer, I'm able to see newsfeeds and document libraries.
If I connected to a separate Windows 7 machine as the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using Internet Explorer, I'm able to view the SharePoint pages except I cannot see any newsfeeds or document libraries.
There's just blank space where they should be. I have repeated this process on several other machines that are not the server and get the same result on every machine (I've tried other servers, desktops, adding the SharePoint site to the trusted sites list
in IE, even using firefox). I'm using the same account as I did when I logged onto the server directly. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

It is currently set to the default of http://server_name and http://server_name:port_number (the latter is for Central Admin).
When I have access to the server, I have always done so the same way, using http://server_name. This was true when I access it from the desktop of the server itself and when I tried to access it from other desktops and servers (the machines where I had the
issues with the libraries and feeds not showing up). Are there other values I should add?
I have not tried to add http://server_FQDN as we don't plan on using that to access it but if you think it will help I would be happy to add it.

Some programs I downloaded from store can't open sometimes...

I have been using Internet Explorer and have now downloaded Firefox but cannot find my imported favourites. Where can I find them?

Opened up Firefox this morning and can't open a single website....have to use Internet Explorer (oh the shame). I tried reinstalling firefox and restarting my computer. Don't know what else to do or why I can't get any internet on Firefox.

My email was downloading and the whole program froze. Now I can not open email. What can I do?

How can I get my email to open? It seems frozen in middle of downloading.

I subscribed to CC ( PS and LR). now i haven't used them yet as i deleted the downloads by my own stupidity. Now i can't open a raw file in camera raw using my own CS5. Also i can't find the link to download again.

If you have a serial number for CS5 then you can download it via this link: Download CS5 products
Also, make sure that it is uninstalled from your machine, Windows: Control panel>> Uninstall a Program
Mac: Go>> Applications>> Utilities>> Adobe Installers>> Uninstall CS5.
