I had a trial version of LR. Bought LR from CC..and it wont download/upgrade the LR account.
I unistalled the trial version and it made it worse..now I can't uninstall or reinstall LR...on my CC account it says that LR is uploading when I try to upload it..but it does nothing. So am I just stuck? I even tried buying it on another account..still says the same thing...that my trial version has expired and I need to buy...when I try to buy it says I've already bought..when I try to download the new version of LR..it just says "Lightroom Downloading" and does nothing.
When I try to uninstall on the creative cloud app it only goes so far and then says this..

You will never be able to use it, it's Activation Lock you're facing and cannot be bypassed without the original Apple ID & password. -

Are you working with Acrobat or Photosohp? (You mention both PDF files and photos, so it's not clear.)

I have had a trial version of Acrobat X1 Pro - I have decided not to buy at this stage - for some time it has been conflicting with opening PDF docs after "saving as" from word 2007 - I uninstalled Pro X1 and now when I "save as" PDF from word 2007 to PDF it will save the document as a PDF but will not open the document to display after publishing - I have to got to where the file has been saved to view the new PDF document - this is really annoying - do I have to delete adobe reader and reinstall it - adobe needs to look at this conflict with acrobat pro as I have even gone it to properties and tried to have adobe reader as the default PDF program - the main issue is that I cannot view the PDF after publishing it from word 2007

I had a trial version of CC Lightroom and Photoshop. Purchased the LR/PS Photographer deal. Lightroom seems to be running as a purchased app. But, Photoshop still says I have X number of days in my trial.
Any ideas on how to switch PS to a purchased app?

History of my problem.
I installed LR 6/CC from Creative Cloud but it fails to open and while fixing it I uninstall all prevously installed apps (LR, Bridge, Photoshop CC)
Now I able to install/open LR6 but it reverted back to trial version and same issue with other apps.
Adobe Customer Care is pathetic (not possible get direct chat).
No idea how to solve my problem.
I fear to trust to Adobe of loosing my lifetime collection of pics.
Any help is appreciated.

Have got a Windows Vista basic and had run a a trial version of LR4 on it - just purchased an LR5 without checking out the complete system requirements. Can I get a complete download of LR4 so that the money I've spent is not wasted. I am not interested in upgrading to Windows 7 currently.
There are still retail packs of LR 4 to be found out there - for example, on EBay. It's just important to be careful whether it's a full version, an upgrade, or a student + teacher version. And to be certain it's genuine, and has a serial number which has never been activated before. The serial number that you get with that, should work with any 4.x version of LR, on either MacOS or Windows. And it will almost certainly be heavily discounted compared with the previous price direct from Adobe.
Of course the other way is to upgrade to Windows 7 SP1, which should also be available discounted, and thus eke out the life of an older PC (I personally would not go to Win8 in such a case). Maybe pick up some RAM also, if that's a problem, provided you can do so cheaply (since that will be simply thrown away in due course, when you get a newer PC),
Using LR4 instead of LR5 you do miss out on a few nice features, as well as potentially the Raw support and lens profiles for more recent camera equipment.
LR 4 is obsolete as far as Adobe is concerned. They will not sell a Serial Number for it. -
I had a trial version of Pages for 30 days and then purchased the actual software without removing the trial. Now when I try to edit documents and save them it sometimes wont because it tells me I am using a trial version.... But sometimes it lets me!! How can I remove the trial version? I cannot tell which one I am using when I open it....

I purchased a Logic Pro 9.1.6. from App Store and when I try to open it, it's asking for a serial number. That shouldn't happen, they told me on Applecare Professional Application Support. Once I had a "trial version" of Logic Pro 9.0.0. Does this matter?

You would need to delete all of the Logic Audio related preference files, reciepts...etc, located in these folders.

I guess it's possibly safe to assume that all of the people posting on this board asking why the App Store version is requesting a serial have been using pirated software. -
Hi, my trial version of Lightroom 5 has recently expired and I have now fully bought it. I have uploaded the CD onto my Mac, but when I open the Lightroom application again, it still says the trial has expired. Does anybody know how I can update it so I can finally use it again? Joanne please remove your current installation of Photoshop Lightroom using the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
You will then want to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh. The update contains the entire application. Photoshop Lightroom can not be installed through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application and still be licensed with a serial number. -
