I need the Line Per Inch # for an HP3052A printer/scanner.

Hey guys,
I am working on some photo, enlargements and other tasks.  I am working through some manuals for the software I am using and I need the lines per Inch value for this printer.  Unfortunatley for me, I cannot find it on their site, specifications or through PM tech support.  I figured one of you experts, may have the actual value or a working value.
I hope I am explaining what I am looking for.

I am including a link so you can download the drivers for your printer.  The next step would be to select type of operating system you are using.  For illustration purpose i choose windows 7 64 bit.  Then select driver i recommend using the full feature download.

    If this is about Pages for iOs, you can certainly set TNR adn 12 pts, but no, there is no lines per inch settings.

    Here's the steps to follow if your printer isn't turning on.   
    If you've gone through all those steps and you still don't have power, there are a lot of places that sell a replacement cord and supply for that printer.

    So, for the first one Export it cropped to 6.5 x 9 - and in the Export Dialog box there is a capability to rename the file for exported output - which would allow you to add something like the crop or intention to the base name of the file.  e.g. for _IMG0846.nef - setup the output filename to _IMG0846-65x9 for 11x14.jpg and output it at, say 300 or 360 dpi.  So, it has a unique name and purpose in your output folder.
    For best results, now, re-crop the picture in LR - just open the crop [R] dialog again, reframe the image to the new ratio, 12x16 and Export again - with an adjustment to the filename. e.g. _IMG0846-12x16 for 20x24.jpg
    So, now you have two clearly identified image files in your output area and you can provide those to whomever is printing for you, etc.  Discard them when you're done since you always have the original to return to to re-frame again as necessary.
    This way you get output sharpening and resolution (in pixels) optimized for your output print size.  Maybe not super important for smallish prints-but more important for larger ones.   Output at 100 quality.

    I once swapped such a cable with the one supplied by Creative because I needed a few extra inches of length. Therefore my recommendation is no gamble, it is a certainty. The only reason I would anticipate failure is if the PIN 1 matching is not performed on both the sound card and I/O bay. I have also seen people turn the cable upside down as well.

    *White lines 1" apart showing up on my printouts*~
    It is a NEW Epson 1430. However, I have horizontal thin white lines across my prints. (13x19in Paper) I've cleaned the heads, ran a test print, realigned and then reprinted - I keep getting the same white lines in exactly the same places.
    I’m printing an AI file in Illustrator and the lines don't show up on my screen. Is there something wrong with the data? I am going to do more experiments to try and identify exactly what conditions cause this problem.

  • 8ft x 4ft poster...but how many dots per inch for images?

    I've read a online somewhere a while back that the bigger the end product, the less the amount of dots per inch needed. is this true? if so, when do I start changing from 300dpi for A3 sizes to smaller DPI's on larger size prints?
    is there a way to calculate this? I'm always thinking it might for spending less ink on the larger size prints, etc
    and what should I use for a 8x4ft poster when:
    1. people are gonna see it up close
    2. when the closest they get would be about 4-5 feet away
    with this particular poster, people are gonna be up close.

    I don't see where that would make any difference in working with the file, but it sure makes it convenient for printing. I work on lots of full size banners all the time. The only time a make them less than full size is when I am working on something bigger that 18' which is IDs maximum size.
    But doing them half size at 300 dpi is fine to. You just need to be careful that your graphics are not to low a resolution or you will be in for some surprises from IDs output, especially if you trying res-up when printing.
    I was really trying to suggest its easier to move around on screen if the artwork is not size for size.
    I guess everyone has their own particular way of working. I don't even produce A2 output at s/s size. I'll do that at either A4 or A3.
    I agree with the low res graphics. I don't seem to have any issues with just supplying 300dpi for any sized output to be honest. I've produced largish exhibition stands and A4 hand-outs from the same file. Seems to work ok for me.

    For Customer you go to FDI4, for vendor you go to FKI4 for forms.
    Remaining all are the same.

    Go to transaction code FDI4
    Select Form Type RFFRRD20 Line item analysis
    Give your form name and description
    Structure (Two axis) - as defaulted
    Click on Create
    You will have lead column
    Delete the rows 2, 3 and 4
    Double click on column 1
    Enter the customer numbers from 1 to 999999
    First column double click (A)
    Slelect following values
    Due date analysis 1
    Days for net due date 0 to 30
    Give the short name, medium name and long text for the column.
    Repeat this step in next columns like 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 91 to 120 and 121 to 99999 days etc in other columns and select due date analysis 1. (B,C,D,E)
    Create one more column by way of formula. To create a new column you need to double click on blue line. Put formula add all five columns you have created above. (F = ABCDE)
    You prepare one more column with
    Due date analysis 2 (G)
    Now you prepare one more column add (F+G) = This will be total open items = over due and not due.
    Now go to FDI1 and prepare a report - assign the form created in FDI4 to the report.
    Characteristics you need to select are
    Account Type (Select Account Type as D for customers)
    Currency
    Customer
    Document Type
    Special G/L Ind
    Company Code
    Change the output types and options according to your requirement.
    Refer FDI2 and FDI3 for other standard reports created.
    Refer FDI5 and FDI6 for other standard forms created.
    Save your report and execute.
    From there you can put the cursor on customer number and from the menu goto -> line items then it will go for each line item wise..

  • I just need the line activated!

    I registered for a home move on saturday, it said that because I have all of the equipment and there is a line in my new flat already, that they would just activate it on the 1st of October. I received an email today telling me that I would have an engineer out to isntall my new service on the 19th of November... nearly 2 months away. I called BT and they said they would just try and move my installation sooner, and would call me back.
    last time I moved with this service I moved onto a line that hadn't been used in 8 years, and there was no problem although they couldnt transfer Infinity as the line wasn't new enough. It took them 1.5 weeks to transfer my service, they didn't come out and instead did it all from their service centre, by literally just turning the line back on.
    This time I have the same situation, but instead they believe they are sending me new equipment (which I already have), as well as sending an engineer to turn it on. Again, last time I moved they said that they were sending an engineer but didnt bother to tell me that he wouldnt actually be coming because they wouldnt need to be at the property (one day of full work out of the window for nothing).
    They speciifically told me when I requested the home move that it would be the 1st of October, only to email me today saying I had to wait 2 months.
    What do I do? I need it for all work purposes. As does my partner. I have the equipment already, I have the line, I just need them to flick the switch on. Why do I have to wait 2 months for that?
    I have tried to be polite on the phone with the people I have talked to. I'm not sure how long I can keep up the understanding tone for...

  • Profit Center is missing in the line item 002 for Customer Payment

    Dear Friends,
    We are having one issue with Customer incoming payment. We are following the Business area concept. Now the customer is from the different business area and paying at Ho. HO has different Business area. So while processing the incoiming payment i have to enter different business ares for both the customer and Bank line item. There is no profit center field in the customer line tiem. When we are trying to post it, system is giving error message "Balancing field Profit center not there in line item 002".
    If i process the same scenario with same business area for both the line item then system is picking th eprofit center from the bank line item.
    Is there any possibility i can map this scenarion in the Document splitting functionality?? or else how can i process this scenario??

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
    Yes the Document split has been activated. This issue is the specific one. We have different C&F location. Sales happens accross India. Hence we have created the Business area concept for each location to get the location wise balance sheet. I have also activated the zero balancing for Profit center and also Business area so that i can derive the Location wise Balance sheet.
    Now the sales invoice has been processed from C&F Location. Customer deposit the Cheque directly to the Head office Bank and not at the C&F Location bank. I don't want to clear the existing open item because 50% of the cheque gets bounced. So i am booking the incoming payment without clearing the open item.
    While processing the incoming payment user is entering the C&F location business area in the customer line item (Credit line item) and Head office business area for the Bank line item as the bank is at the Head office so that we can arrive the Balance sheet.
    Now system is not deriving the profit center for the customer line item even though the business area wise zero balance has been activated. Recon account field status group has market as optional for profit center but in F-28 i am not able to get the profit center field (Because it is balance sheet item).
    The Document type already been configure for Document split and the Recon account also categorised as Customer inthe doc splitting. I don't have any problem with document split other than this issue.
    For this issue anything can be done in the document split??
