That pop-up wasn't from Mozilla, that was a fake website. You didn't download or install anything from there, did you?

When I started my PC this morning I got a pop-up message stating that CC has damaged files and required downloading from www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp. Indeed, CC did NOT work and subsequent attempts to download CC never got beyond the initial installer box. The posted link also appears to be bogus I am at my wits end here. Have other users experiences this issue? Is this a clever intrusion?

I updated from Firefox 4.0.1 to 5.0 and cannot access McAfee security
I updated yesterday from Firefox 4.0.1 to 5.0 and I have McAfee Total Protection and now when I access McAfee it is just a white blank screen and I can't access system restore it it also just a white blank screen. I removed Mozilla from programs and still same with system restore and McAfee. Can someone tell me in detail how to fix this?
I did this with the Windows de-installer and it did not work. Is there something more I need to do? Does Mozilla have a program for removing its software that is more complete?

I lost my iPad. I located it using the Find My iPad feature. I got an e-mail from Apply stating it had been found. What does this mean? Does this mean someone used it, tried to use it or what?
When you say an email from Apply, do you mean that the sender is named "Apply"? If so, what is their full email address (e.g. [email protected])?

Suddenly I cannot print any web pages from Firefox. It was printing one day and not communicating with the printer the next. Did not happen with an upgrade to Firefox or plugins. Printer dialog came up but nothing sent to printer.

So I have a file on my desktop and I cannot open it, move it to a folder, or delete it from my mac. I dont know what it has in it, and that makes me suspicious. What can I do to remove this unremovable file from my computer? Is it a virus?
First, I would recommend repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility.
If that doesn't fix the problem, there's a very dangerous command you can execute in the Terminal. This is very hazardous, because a simple typo can result in very drastic consequences. I have seen people erase their entire hard drive by putting a space in the wrong place! So, please follow the directions I'm going to give you very carefully!
Open the Terminal, which is found in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder. In the Terminal, enter the following:
sudo rm -f
Make sure to put a space after the "-f"! Then, drag the troublesome file from the Finder and drop it on the Terminal window. That should insert the path to the file in the command. Then go back to the Terminal and press return. You will be asked for your password, and when you type it, nothing will be shown as a security measure. Press return again after entering your password. The file should be deleted. -
How do I unlink Ipod from my old PC (which has crashed HDD) and link to new PC without erasing contents of my Ipod?. Hi, I have purchased I-Tunes match but since doing so, I get to stage three of the transfer of library to I-Cloud which is downloading artwork, extra information etc and as soon as stage 1 and 2 turn into green ticks, a message pops up to advise that I-Tunes has stopped working and closes I-Tunes down! I have managed to get the bulk of my library across to I-Cloud so I can listen to music through my apple TV - However now every time I bring up I-Tunes, the I-Tunes Match recognises that there is still some artwork/songs that need to be transferred and again once gets to this same stage of the transfer process, I-Tunes closes down. Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice on as solution? I have a Sony NS-Series laptop with Windows Vista. Following the closure of I-Tunes, I then get another pop up message advising me that perhaps my current I-Tunes is not the most up to date version and recommends that I download the current version - however my I-Tunes version is currently up to date.
Frustration understood. May well be worthwhile simply:
1. Sign-out of iTunes Store
2. Shutdown computer
3. Start computer
4. Download and install latest version of iTunes
5. Launch iTunes, sign-in to iTunes Store, start iTunes Match & allow process to work to completion
By switching on iCloud Status, iCloud Download and Kind fields you can watch progress for any issues. -

My mac mini displays a green screen with 'mac os version not yet responded' and 'you need to restart your computer' as a warning message. Inspite of all my tries it doesnt run from the install dvd either.

Here is what happens: I get an add from Big Fish Games for a game that is from the Itunes store. It has a link and I click it. The link takes me directly to Itunes for about 2 seconds and then blanks out giving me:

What's up with this? This does not happen in the Chrome browser. The link works perfectly.Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

Whenever I attempt to print something from Firefox it comes out tiny on the piece of paper. I have tried changing the printer settings, I have double checked the print preview, but whenever it comes from Firefox everything is shrunk. I do not have this issue within any other program, just Firefox.
No change. I reset value of the stand alone printer.print line and printed a few emails and got the same kind of error.
Did note that when I printed plain text emails the only part that is unreadable is the message header (body of the email is fine). If I print a message with anything beyond plain text it is all unreadable (some of the included pictures/graphics do print ok though).
There were a number of other printer.print lines with the Brother printer identification followed by header, footer etc. that appeared to be like a page setup type of thing. Would it be worth removing these printer/lines altogether and starting over with it? -
When sharing a link or page via email, either the webpage or Firefox will open up Internet Explorer to share the link or page. As I use Thunderbird for emailing, could Firefox open Thunderbird automatically instead of internet Explorer?
From Firefox, I click on "File' and then 'Email link'.
This results in a new Outlook message opening automatically, with the URL copied into the body of the message.
I then add my own text, see the screenshot image. That's where the formatting problems come in!
