If condition in SAP Script

Hi,
I have written a condition in the text elements like below.
IF &EKPO-NETWR& GT '300'
Print some text.
ELSE
Print other text.
ENDIF
But its not working.If i put EQ or NE,its working fine.But if i put GT,GE,LT,LE or >,< ,its not working.
Suggest if there is any other symbol to be used in SAP Sccript for GT,GE.

Declare a dummy variable of type IST_ITEM-SAD_PRINT and then use that variable in sapscript..

Creation of New Page in SAP Script

Hi Experts,
Please advice when will a new page trigger in SAP Script :
As per my requirement I need to create a new page for an existing layout and make changes to the second page alone...
but this page should be triggered only for a specific condition. Is it possible to trigger second page when it satisfies certain conditon?
I have searched SDN regarding the same but most of them have recommended to use NEW-PAGE...but as per my understanding NEW-PAGE is used when certain data needs to be printed on the next page ( not on the new page ).

Ok friend,
Try using the conditions in your driver program using 'CONTROL_FORM' function module. or using some other condition in it.
You can also give conditions in text editors and you can trigger the pages.

You have two options here.
[1]. Write a condition for each company code and print logo accordingly. It looks like this

 * print logo for company COM1

 * print logo of company COM2
/: ELSEIF &COMPANY& = 'COM3'.
 * print logo of company COM3

[2]. Create a custom table and maintain logo entry ( LOGO name, Object, ID, Colorm DPI ).
Get the data from table based on company code and
display logo. In this case your code would be line this.

We have the same situation for PO SAPScript. In fact we have logos stored based on "Company code" and "Profit center" conbination. So, we maintains on Z table with "company code' and "profit center" being key and store Logo, object, ID, color and DPI.
You can also use the solution no 2. It is easy to implement. An in future if you add company code, just add entry in Z table, rest will work.

How to insert a condition in the Graphic Window of a SAP Script ?

I need to give a condition inside the Graphic Window for printing the Logo in the SAP Script. Now, my problem is that the Graphic window is only opening in Display mode. How to make it editable and insert a condition in it?

In sap script, always give conditon in a sinlge line. Dont break the condition into many lines.

         Can anyone please give me an example of how to call different pages in a single sap script based on condition. Eg., i need to call 5 differnet pages from a single sap script based on 5 company codes.

This approach to make call from SAPscript. Its concept is similar to make call to a subroutine in another program. I would presume you understand how to use USING and CHANGING parameter. =)
SAPscript -

sap script and subroutine uses itcsy structure to transmit parameters
first parameter is incoming while second parameter is out going
their function is like an internal table with header line
all data types between SAPscript and subroutine are string.
so, you might need additional conversion.
read incoming parameter with exact name from SAPscript
READ TABLE rec_in WITH KEY name = 'P_YEAR'.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
    v_year = rec_in-value.
ENDIF.
to return value, use the exact name on the second structure
    CONCATENATE v_year v_year INTO v_year.
    READ TABLE rec_out WITH KEY name = 'NEW_DATE'.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
      rec_out-value = v_year.
      MODIFY rec_out TRANSPORTING value WHERE name = 'NEW_DATE'.

I am creating one report form using SAP Script, which uses standard driver program. There is a control statement like,
{ Consider W=1, X=0 , Y=0 & Z=0 }
/: IF ((X==0 AND Y==0) OR (Z==0 OR W==0) OR ...) { lot of OR & AND stament used in this conditional statment }
/: ELSE
/: ENDIF
Here is a mistery, it executes both if and else statement. Please give me some idea on this, and why such a weird output is displaying?

Hi..
The syntax of the command could be incorrect. Check for full stops, variables etc.

Please check the above link's last paragraph which says :
"If a syntax error occurs in the interpretation of this command, then the command is not executed. This may have an unexpected effect on the subsequent text output. For example, if the IF statement is incorrect, then all following ELSEIF and ELSE commands will be ignored, since the opening IF command is u2018missingu2019. This will cause all the text lines attached to the ELSEIF and ELSE commands to be printed."

we can do this in SAP Scripts.
we need to create two pages, one of landscape and another of potrait.
now after filling the data at last we need to call the page which is of format landscape using START_FORM function module.
You can use condition &PAGE& = &FORMPAGES&.

new page will create in sap scripts using new page command.
you have to set condition like after some number of records displayed in page new page has to be trigger.
ex:YOU HAVE SO MANY RECORDS FOR PRINTING BUT YOU WANT TO DISPLAY 100 RECORDS IN FIRST PAGE REMAINING IN SECOND PAGE LIKE THAT.
Here you can use NEW PAGE COMMAND .
IT IS OPPOSITE PURPOSE OF PROTECT AND ENDPOTECT.

How to Fix the row in sap script, its urgent......

first i explain my sap script, i have print void check in my script client give readymade format means box are there, lines are there. i have to fix in box and line data form database table. everthing is working fine. i got all data. i have total 6 window in my script .but i have one issue In my sap script in header window total five rows... like below

now sometime check voucher is balnk....

because of that all rows are move up side and all window also move up side and so script not fix to the box and line all data are seen not perfectly... so guru`s how to fix the row and window in script....

Follow the below steps . Definately your issue will bve resolved.
Let us suppose you are printing following fields
PH &v_text&
PH &v_text1&
PH &v_text2&
you will get the output as you expected.
and if you have any conditions for these fileds
/: if v_text is not initial.
PH &v_text&
/: endif
PH &v_text1&
PH &v_text2&
if you have data in each field then you will get output as expected .
But when v_text is initial.
the data will be moved up wnhich is happening in your case.
so what you need to do is?
/: if v_text is not initial.
PH &v_text&
/: else
PH (Here you need to mention empty line with same paragraph format
/: endif.
PH &v_text1&
PH &v_text2&

How To Display Minus value in SAP SCript

Hello Guys.
I am working on a Script. My Problem is that For a fields BSAD-DMBTR.
I have to show this fields value as minus or plus as per condition with fields
bsad-shkzg. In my Internal table it's update as minus but when I am calling Write form with loop. the value is not display with minus sign.
How can I display value with minus sign in SAP script.

NEW-PAGE is used to insert a page break ,
it can be conditional if used between IF..ENDIF
e.g. /:IF &KNA1-NAME1& = 'XYZname'
/:NEW-PAGE
/:ENDIF
If u want to Page break after displaying certain records or after some condition you use NEW-PAGE
