Index page not showing in the Admin Console

Hello I have downloaded the J2EE package. It was working fine for a couple of months. Recently though, I had a problem in the admin console. After I login successfully, not all the framesets of the admin page is displaying. The top frameset and the left frameset display perfectly. However the index frameset displayed exception messages. I tried reinstalling my J2SE and J2EE and still, the exception shows up. The following is the stacktrace of the errors displayed:

You can setup a page branch that responds to your specific button and within that branch definition you can specify page items and values to be set when that branch fires.
Is there a specific reason that you want the values passed on the URL? That's not really required to make ApEx function properly.

I think I had a similar error at step
"4.6.3 Creating the Informatica Repository Service"

you must create the repository service with a matching code page
- remember that the code page cannot be changed after the Repository Service is created

later on at step "4.6.4 Creating the Informatica Integration Service"
it throws
"LM_36011 Code page mismatch. Service process is running in code page
[ISO 8859-1 Western European] whereas the service is configured
in the Admin Console to run in code page [UTF-8 encoding of Unicode]"
so I had to set the language env variables before starting the service

Switching off DEBUG messages in the admin console

Hi
I have the problem that I see a lot of debug information on the log when starting the admin console and navigation through the pages. It makes the admin console VERY slow. This must be some sort of low level debug stuff which I'm not able to witch off.
I already made sure that debugging is switched off for the server (AdminConsole->Debug) and no diagnostic options are turned on. I also checked for a debug command line option in the start script.
Some example debug output:
DEBUG struts.util.PropertyMessageResources (PropertyMessageResources.java:284) - Saving message key '.assistant.jms.server.resumeconsumption.title
DEBUG util.logging.Logger (Logger.java:118) - Delegating to RequestDispatcher for URI /jsp/contentheader/Messages.jsp

You could add a dynamic text field to your app, add it to the stage and send notifications for whatever you need to debug.
e.g. Just as you would use the trace("this message "+variableValue); in Flash to debug using the output window.
You would use
textfield_name.appendText("this message "+variableValue+"\n");
or if you were listening for error you could use something like:

Custom Single Container not showing up in the Admin console

I developed a custom single container and deployed the java files and xml's successfully.
But the container doesnt show up in the admin console as a container channel.
I am not able to add and delete new channels into this container .Can anyone throw light on this issue..

I'm seeing the same thing as Simon, I changed the iOS device name in both places on an iOS device and the name in the Intune console is still "iPhone" which is really unhelpful as I'm sure you can imagine. Is there some other place
that we should be going to rename devices so they are more easily identifiable in the Intune console?

"File not Found" error in the admin console for dimension

Hi All,
We are onto the BPC7 MS version and recently we have started facing an error "File Not Found" while trying to access the dimension members from the admin console.
I have checked the "adminapp" folder where all the dimension files should be placed in the system, the files are present in the folder.
The mbr<DIMENSION> tables are also present in the database and have the members intact.
I have also tried with processing the dimensions (NOT processing from the membersheet) and it goes successful, but still face the same "File Not Found" Error.
We have a single appset and a single application.

I am recieving this message for all the dimensions, even when I click on the "maintain dimension members", try to process or even try to copy them i have this pop up showing "file not found".
I have the dimension tables intact at the DB servers and they have the members in them.

Unified Communications Attendant console: queue does not show in the client

Hello,
I have Cisco Unified Attendant Console - Department Edition 9.1.1.10 in conjunction with CUCM 9.1.1.
My problem is that when I login with the operator account to the client the queue does not show up as expected.
I have configured the queue, synchronized with CUCM, i can see it in CUCM under device/CTI route point, i have associated the queue to the operator in user configuration queue association.
but when i login as the opeartor to the client i can not see it.
any help is apreciated.

Hi,
This is working correctly, as you can only associated a single queue (department), this is not displayed in the operator console client.
You only see the queue list in Business, Enterprise or Premium Edition.

Why are photos that are placed on the page not showing up in links panel?

seems really random, I have 2 files that have several photos on them, but one photo on each is not showing in the links panel

not sure, just checking on errors from other co-workers, but I tried copying and
pasting from Quark and got the same result, so that is probably what they did.

Changes made in jsp pages not showing in weblogic 92

Hi:
I am using Weblogic 92.
I ran an ant script and it copy the ear file
to the following directory.
C:\bea92\user_projects\domains\Inquiry\autodeploy
This should autodeploy the application but it doesn't seemed to show the changes I made.
I also copy the ear file to the following directory:
C:\bea92\user_projects\applications\Inquiry
and
C:\bea92\user_projects\applications\Inquiry\autodeploy
The worst part is even if I delete the ear files in the above directory and when I restarted weblogic 92, in the admin console it still shows it and when I tried to delete it, it says the ear file was deploy autodeploy and you must delete it manually something like that.
But I already deleted it manually but it still shows in the weblogic console. This is very frustrating.
In weblogic 8.1 I didn't use autodeploy and I don't have any of these type of problems!!
I also noticed that in the directory:
C:\bea92\user_projects\domains\Inquiry\servers\AdminServer\stage\_appsdir_inquiry_ear
it contains an old ear file.
What are the directory I have to updated exactly with the new ear files for the changes to show up in the application?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Shonda, I can find "Main Mode" for my Jdeveloper 9.0.5.0.0 at
Tools -> Embedded Oc4j Server settings -> Global -> JSP Container.
If you can not find this parameter as above, can you use the index search for "Jsp container" or full text search for "embedded oc4j"?
Anyway, I believe there is way to confirm / change this parameter. At a last resort, you might search for files that contains "main_mode" or "main mode", case ignored, so as to get a clue where this parameter is stored.
I have been using 9.0.3 oc4j for some time. If the main_mode is recompile, any change of my jsps is always reflected immediately.

Problems with page not showing up in Internet Explorer

I uploaded my page. All was fine. Looked good in all

All of the sub pages show up fine if you add that to the

Not sure why you would have an index.htm and a default.htm

Can I use Apache to Proxy the Admin Console?

Greetings.
We are deploying a new Weblogic environment into a network that we treat like a DMZ. Basically we treat all of our Production networks like DMZs, let's not debate the intelligence or stupidity of this please. We are running on RHEL 5.3 x86_64, with Apache 2.2, with Weblogic 10.3.1 32bit.
One security flaw we are trying to correct is not having secure access to the Weblogic Admin Console. In this secure environment we intended to use the Firewall, Apache Allow/Deny, and SSL to ensure the console is kept secure.
In our less controlled networks we use an Apache SSL Virtual Host to proxy the Admin Console but it seems that none of our weblogic admins have ever noticed that inside the browser, half the links are not SSL, and include the Admin Console's port number. Just a snippet of the Admin Console's HTML for the banner across the top shows a how some links are / relative and others are fully qualified with protocol, hostname, port and path.
In order for my Apache Proxy to work properly the Console must be generating / relative links, is there some way to configure the server's root for the Admin Console or something?
As of now, unless a better idea surfaces, my options seem to be:
1. Spending my holiday weekend writing a Perl CGI to be the proxy and content filter all of these bad URLs out.
2. Using ssh to tunnel to the Admin Console's port.
3. Using mod_proxy_html to do the same thing as #1.
Here are options not on the Table:
1. Firewall rules to allow access to the Admin Console port.
2. Bridging networks with a spare NIC in the server.
3. Running the Admin Console as Root and binding to port 443.
Overall, I can't believe I'm the only one to ever think of or try to do such a thing as proxy the Admin Console, but I can not seem to find any blogs, forum posts, or documentation to suggest a good way to accomplish this.

Page not showing correctly and missing sitemap

I have two problems involving Dreamweaver 8.02.
First is the index page not loading correctly. But when you
preview the page from Dreamweaver's browser everything shows fine.
But opening up a new broswer it is all messed up. I am using
Dreamweaver 8.02 and one of the existing templates in CSS style.
Second issue is the missing sitemap whenever I FTP files to
the server. I used to be able to view the remote site and the local
files side by side. Now. the white box indicating that perspective
is gone. Did I click on something accidentally? If so, how do I
reset everything?

I'm not sure but could the problem possibly be with the router itself. I checked many other topics of people reporting the same problems as me and the person above me. They all seem to be the same WRT54G wireless routers and all seem to have been reported at least within the last couple weeks. It seemed like the help given too never really helped the problem. I'm sure it's not the browser because I have had the same result on all that I've tried or the firewall because I have had that off while trying just like everyone else who seemed to have the problem.

Resources created w/MQ Admin Console not seen in GF Admin console

Environment:
Glassfish Enterprise Server v2.1
JDK 1.6.0_11-b03 (bundled)
Sun Java(tm) System Message Queue 4.3 (Build 7-g)
Windows XP SP3
Following the documentation in Chapter 1 of the Sun Java System Message Queue 4.1 Administration Guide[1] I used the MQ Admin Console SWING tool to create an ObjectStore with the following properties:
java.naming.provider.url - file:///C:/imq_admin_objects
java.naming.factory.initial - com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory
In that object store I created six destinations (3 Queues and 3 Topics) along with one connection factory.
I also used the Admin Console to create one Broker with host set to localhost and primary port set to 7676. Within that broker I created 6 physical destination for the destinations I created in the object store.
In the Glassfish administration console under Configuration -> Java Message Service -> JMS Hosts -> Physical Destinations none of the ones I created in the Broker using the MQ Admin console were visible. I suspected this was due to the fact that GF needs the naming properties I set when I created the ObjectStore with the MQ Admin console so I set them under Configuration -> Java Message Service : Additional Properties. When I did that and restarted the domain the physical destinations I created with the MQ Admin console now showed up in the GF admin console's Physical Destinations section.
However, the ConnectionFactory and Destinations I created in the ObjectStore do not show up in the GF Admin console's Resources -> JMS Resources -> Connection Factories and Resources -> JMS Resources -> Destination Resources respectively. I suspect this is also a case of needing to feed some properties to the domain somewhere but I don't see an obvious place to do so. Nor am I sure what they should be since they need to be scoped to the JMS resource but simply adding a property like java.naming.factory.initial to a more global scope then one affecting only JMS would be 'a bad thing'.
FWIW the GF Enterprise Server 2.1 Administration Guide [2], Chapter 4 - Configuring Java Message Service Resources does not touch on this subject either.
