My project is to create a multi parameter diagnostic tool for monitoring temperature, ECG waveform, HRV analysis, SPO2 measurement and cuffless BP. I would like to know the different interfacing tools that i can use for my project

Wait a minute, I think you are confused. A thermocouple generates a voltage, not resistance, which is then measured by an analog input. This voltage is in the sub-millivolts range. The 6221 is a +/-10V with 16 bit range so each count is about .3mV which you might think is enough but real world says it won't be. Here is a table for voltage on a K type thermocuple.
What you may be able to use a is a RTD or a thermister which works on the principlal of resistance. I'm guessing you are were confusing the two and depending on the setup it could be possible to measure temperature with the 6221.
If you are looking to measure a single temperature I recommend the USB TC01. Just plug it in and it can start logging temperature to a text file without needint to program or install software.

Please let me know is there any documentation regarding web interface tools, like to prepare our Web Layout Fancy like colour changes for companies, to change the size of the layouts. I have 2 layouts different sizes but client need these layouts must be equal size irrespective of rows and columns.

Interface tools for cable simulations

I've searched the Development Zone and did not find any information on the interface or tools (software) required to simulate varying lengths of Category X type cables, with a given test signal, etc.

You might want to do a search on SMITH CHART. There are quite a few VIs related to this, although probably none specific to cat-x. As with any transmission line, Cat-X only has a few parameters to be concerned about: loss/frequency (expressed in attenuation per 100 ft (or sometimes per 1000 ft)), and velocity of propagation, which is primarily determined by the pitch of the twist of the pair in question. Since this is thouroughly documented in the Cat-x specifications, I wonder if you can really learn anything new by trying to simulate this in Labview, other than sheer curiosity.
As far as physical interfaces for actually performing cable testing, I'm not sure if there are any off-the-shelf solutions, as this usually involves a precision
directional sampler, such as used with a network analyzer, as well as an rf detector.
Perhaps a bit more information on what you're actually trying to accomplish is in order.

Creating custom interface panels in LabVIEW for use in VBAI.

Greetings everyone,
I hope that someone can give me some insight with the following problem. I have on my bench a 1742 Smart Camera and a computer loaded with VBAI 3.6 and LabVIEW 8.6 Pro (all the latest and greatest stuff). Up to this point, everything was going along smoothly until I attempted to use my own custom inspection interface panel in VBAI.
I first created a simple test panel in LabVIEW with a few controls/indicators and saved it in version 8.5 (as required by VBAI 3.6). But when I tried to select this panel in the Configure Inspection Interface dialog in VBAI, I get the message "There is no VI at the path you specified" (even though the VI is clearly there). Perplexed, I visited this website and found others that have run into a similar problems, but apparently no solutions were found.
Looking into this further, I did the following:
1) I downloaded the image_with_switch_control.vi from here. NOTE: File size is 51,732 bytes.
2) I opened VBAI, verified that I could select this VI in VBAI's Configure Inspection Interface panel with no problems, then closed VBAI.
3) I opened this "known good" VI in LabView 8.6, verified that it was saved in LabView 8.5, and then saved it to LabVIEW 8.5 using "Save for Previous Version...". NOTE: File size is 50,500 bytes.
4) I tried to load this new/same Ver 8.5 VI in VBAI's Configure Inspection Interface panel again and got the message "There is no VI at the path you specified".
Now if I open a known good Ver 8.5 VI in LabVIEW 8.6, make no changes, and save the very same VI back in Ver 8.5, I should have no issues choosing it as an interface panel in VBAI. But this is not the case. Am I missing something or is there is a wrench in the works somewhere?
I was really expecting to have the ability to create my own custom interface between the computer and camera (as cited in the documentation), so if anyone can point out a solution, I'd greatly appreciate it.

In the Breakpoint forum is an ongoing thread "Monthly Bugs" that lists bugs posted in the forum. It is maintained by the forum users for the forum users.
I have already submitted yours. Its no garantee that it is a bug or that it is spotted by NI. You could always contact your local NI application engineers and have them report it as a bug, if they think it is you will receive a CAR ID.
If so please post it as a reply on your forum post, so people that see this can look at the solved issues in the next LV release to see this particular bug has been solved.

Report generating tool for labview v.10.0

If the serial number(s) currently associated with your ni.com account include licenses for the RGT 2010, then you should be able to access it via ni.com/downloads
Only the most recent version of the software will be available for "evaluation" download, so if you're looking for an older version you'll need to get it through ni.com/downloads or off of physical media (discs).
If you're not seeing the 2010 version, I would check that the serial number you're using for 2010 is registered to your account - this might be different from the 2012/2013 serial number. Do you see LabVIEW 2010 available as an option for download on this page?
If the serial number is the same and you're not seeing LabVIEW 2010 or the RGT 2010 on ni.com/downloads, I'd contact your NI sales representative or [email protected]

I have a Thorlabs FireWire camera and I want it to control with LabView. I have the complete version of the LabView 8.2 proffesional edition. Well I don't want to buy more hardware so I need a tool included in the LabView proffesional system.

The Vision Acquisition Software is not included in the LabVIEW packages. If you are looking to acquire, save and display images using IEEE 1394 cameras (Firewire), you will need the NI Vision Acquisition Software and if you need image processing functions and display tools, I recommend having a look at NI Vision Development Module.

How to control UAD2 programmer from PLS-Develpment Tools Using Labview?

this programmer support ActiveX control as PLS-support told me. I had tried many times to control this programmer but i could not i have littile experience using Active X control but this time it looks deffirent.

Do you have a manual for the ActiveX control?
It seems your problem lies in your current lack of understanding of the ActiveX control in LV.
This link provides a lot of information regarding the use of ActiveX controls in LV, follow the document links for more info.
Try to explain in more detail which part of the ActiveX control interfacing you don't get to work.

PCI Express interface control using LABVIEW

I've made my own PCI Express card which is meant for data transmission from external device to PC through PCI Express intergace.
Everything is being controlled by FPGA chip.
My qiestion is, how to make Labview be able to recognise the device and send data through PCIe interface?

Basically, this is a signal
acquisition system. The main part are ADC which is connected to FIFO memory and
then to PCI Express pins. Cyclone from ALTERA is meant to control all the
processes.
Something similar you can find here:

There is a program inside the Cyclone which makes all the necessary

Can you interface MATLAB with Labview??

Can Labview activate m-files on MATLAB (while the MATLAB is running obviously) and can the two programs exchange data?

I encourage you to search NI's Developer Zone for "MATLAB" - there are numerous resources available, including some threads in these forums.
On Windows, LabVIEW offers the MATLAB script node. It works much like the LabVIEW Formula Node, except that you paste an m-script into the node. LabVIEW passes the script to MATLAB through MATLAB's ActiveX interface. MATLAB does the processing, and gives the results back to LabVIEW. You can then use the results in your VI.

Which PCI card did you install? The PCI-8252 and PXI-8252 will not appear in MAX. Does your card appear in the Windows Device Manager?

How to count number of vehicles using image processing tools in LabVIEW

if camera is stationary, first take an image of the background. Then subtract each acquired image from the reference image. Limit the region of interest - build a mask of the area, where you want to detect vehicles. Use only the pixels that are under the mask for further processing. You probably would need to do some morphological operations (for example dilate) to make the detection more noise-free...
Maybe you could get more reference images (different time of day) and compare the average intensities of the acquired and the reference image to select the best image for subtraction.
You could then probably just count the numer of objects to get the number of vehicles.
You can perhaps also use optical flow to track the vehicles, but you would need to compute some features for example strong corners for each vehicle (check good features to track, http://docs.opencv.org/modules/imgproc/doc/feature_detection.html). Or you can use the new mean-shift tracking library (Labview 2013).

If English is your second language you might want to post on another forum. I am really not sure what you are trying to do but you are telling us, "give me the sollition how to link these slides in labview" so I'll attach a community example you may want to look at.

Interface AFG3102C with LabVIEW 2 channel mode

Hello guys, I got this device AFG3102C ( dual- channel signal generator) connected to Labview with drivers and Vi's from exemple, but Ithis VI can't set both channel's output on. When i set channel 1 and I send data to be changed to device, the other channel is set automaticaly off, and reverse. How can i solve this? This is my VI.

I can't say for sure because you didn't Include the actual driver VIs, but my suspicion is that the problem lies in how you are using the drivers. In both cases when you go to write to a channel the first thing you do is initialize the box -- which probably turns off the outputs...
