Yes but it takes many tries ,millions around the world are downloading and there is only so much capacity

I have one request to you..
basically i m running a query on Dev server ,its taking so much time but same query if i run on my production environment then it run so fast.
i checked the indexes on table its all are fine & in valid state.i rebuild the index again.
i also get the explain plan on both the environment,its given below..

If, for example, you created the big table with a few rows, then populated them with a lot of rows without regathering statistics, you could have very misleading statistics. advice me more in this.Please show the plans including the estimated and actual cardinalities. Something is telling the optimizer that a full table scan is better than nested loops with index range scans. Also show us the non-default init.ora settings.

AuthenticateAsClient is taking so much time

I am working on a client - server architecture for data transfer. I am using SSLStream for sending and receiving files.
I am using AuthenticateAsClient on client side to authenticate server but i am facing an issue.
1. my application getting stop after sending starts and never shows any error or progress. After debugging my code i found that AuthenticateAsClient is taking so much time and sometimes it never flow back to code.
So please help me to find out the solution for this issue.

I am not expert on certificate. But per my understanding test certificate can be used. But only recommended for testing purposes.
There is a tool called
MakeCert. This tool can create self-signed root certificate. And import it to trusted root certification authorities certificate store and trusted publishers certificate
store. It will works.

Attachments taking a long time to download

Hi, I wonder if anyone is experiencing the same problem. I've just got my iphone 4 and have noticed that when I download an attachment in mail it seems to be taking a long time to download. This is compared to my old 3g which downloaded them ten times faster when connected to my wi-fi. (granted, before i updated it to 4.0)!! Does anyone have a fix for this? Safari is fast compared to my 3g.

Data load taking so much time

Hello Everybody
i have enhanced the 0info_rec_attr datasource for few fields. I am getting right result for which i have done enhancement. But during infopackage run and DTP run it is taking so much time. when i run infopackage it is taking arround 12hrs for 4 lack records.
previously it use to take only 5mint to load same amount of data. Same thing is happening DTP also.
Kindly suggest why this is happeneing. Alhough data are coming in right way in infoprovider.

It should not take so long.
Try reset iPad and work from there.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

I have a matrix report which was running nice before some days, but now taking too much time to load
i tested store procedure but it is ok to return same data in 5 seconds
and when i tested in ssrs BIDS side i set 60 sec for dataset timeout option, and it gets timeout
after i set 1000 seconds timeout but it is just rolling and rolling loading
when i check in executionlog of reportserver i found something like ..

According to your description, your report keeps loading symbol when rendering. Right?
In this scenario, as you can see in the Excecution Log, it spends a lot of time on data retrieval. Based on the status information, it's the issue on the conncetion. Since you have tested the stored procedure, and it works properly. Please check if the credentials
for data source has permisson to connect the database. You can also Test Connection when creating data source. As you mentioned, it uses Raido Frequency to connection. There might be large network traffic on transfering data.

but it takes too much time .. like (1 hr r more)

Drop user taking so much time.

Hi Guys,
I have a schema containing around 1600 objects. Export dump size for the same is aroung 8 or 9MB.
When I try to drop that user, it takes atleast 5 minutes.
Details are:

I am new to Oracle Apps,We i run my concurrent Program
its take too much time to complete.How to find that there is any lock occur in table while the concurrent program is running, any other way to find why the concurrent program takes too much of time to execute and how can we speed up the process.
Yesterday day we makes some change to speed up the process with our DBA to speed up the concurrent program
The first concurrent program takes 2.30 hours and after these changes its take 1.45 hours.Please suggest it is correct

Set the SLEEP SECONDS value as 10 (Changed from 30).
