Is there a way to sync Firefox on my new top of the line imac with my older imac that can only use Firefox 2.0?

My old imac has System 10.3.9, and I am not able to add sync to my Firefox 2.0 browser. My new imac has Snow Leopard. Is there any way to move my Firefox bookmarks, passwords, etc., from my old computer to my new computer?

Firefox 2 versions used bookmarks.html format to store bookmarks, you can '''import''' that type of bookmarks file format into all later versions of Firefox.

The correct version of the Password Exporter extension can be installed in the old Firefox 2 version, to export you password data. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/password-exporter/versions/#version-1.2

I converted my new computer from an old one about a week ago.
Every time I open Firefox, it either crashes immediately or once I try to go between pages it crashes. I get a window that says Firefox quite Unexpectedly. Apple Care worked on this with me.
We opened Firefox in Test Mode, the crashes did not happen.
I would like to use Firefox, it is much better than Safari, but not being able to get help for Firefox; I have no choice.
I don't know how to submit information to Mozilla, therefore I have no crash ID.

With Test mode, do you mean starting Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Is there a way to preview any file as HTML? I need to preview .INC files as HTML, but can't make FireFox to display them as anything other than plain text.

As a part of design I have .INC files that contain HTML that is to be processed by PHP. The extension is .INC to separate it from .HTML files which don't need pre-processing.
I sometimes need to preview those files as HTML, but Firefox always displays them as plain text. Is there a way to tell Firefox that .INC files should be displayed as .HTML?

The sync doesn't pull over legacy emails from Outlook and my Outlook has been set up to remove them from the webmail server therefore they aren't available from webmail anymore. There is, go to browser and cntrl click on any one of the columns,
and select - show/source. A new column named "source" will pop up and will show where everything "lives". Click on the header at the top and it will justify the column as well. You'll notice this won't show anything for your seq.'s. of course, but will show stills/audio/motion files...
Once you have the new column, you can drag it next to the "name" column and get a grab of it and print it if you like, or whatever.
If you want to do this for just 1 seq., then can create a new bin and double click it to open it. Cntrl-A (select all) in your main seq. and just drag all into the new bin. You will see only what's in that seq. with the "source" column right next to it.
From what I've read, you seem to get the MM thing and it's obviously what you'll need to do to archive as the guys said. But what your missing is a file path system to where everything resides.

We can place a pagebreak before the Heading or Sub-Heading manually prior to or even after creating a Table of Contents. So that the Heading or Sub-Heading is placed always on top of a page.
To create a Table of Contents:
Under Format panel, define paragraph text as Title, Subtitle, Heading, Heading2 ..... and so on for displaying in TOC.
After completion of document writing, place cursor where a TOC is to be displayed.
Insert > Table of Contents > Document
A table of contents generates automatically.

I know that I can get the same effect by opening a new copy of the current page in a new tab and then back pedaling to the earlier page, but that is a bit cumbersome.

There is no Contextual menu for the Location bar drop-down, so you need to use {Ctrl + Click} or Middle-click the item to have browsing history items load in a new tab.

Sorry, I can't help with Hotmail, beyond clearing the cache - I haven't used it for 11 or 12 years now. Surprising that a Firefox 3.6 version would have trouble there, as 3.6 has been around for well over a year and Hotmail problems are usually with a recent release of Firefox.
IMO, if Hotmail support can't help you with Firefox issues on their website and can only recommend using IE, maybe it's time to change web mail service providers. My advice is to signup with a different web mail service, one that takes Firefox seriously. Then set up forwarding in your Hotmail account to have all your Hotmail emails forwarded to that new account. Then slowly transition your email contacts over to the new email address over time. As long as you log in to Hotmail every month or two, your account there should stay active and emails sent there should get forwarded to the new email account. I have done that three times in the last decade, and the first one I transitioned from was still forwarding email thru the two intermediary accounts to my current account until last summer when that service finally changed owners and they wanted all new accounts set up or transitioned to their new software - which I didn't do - and I hadn't even signed into my account there in over 4 years and "forwarding" was still working.

When I start Firefox it indicates in the bottom left corner that it is loading my Yahoo homepage, but only shows a white window. If I type in the URL of another site, the same thing occurs. I can only use Firefox by restarting it in safe mode.

I am using Firefox 5.0 with Windows XP SP3. I've had this same configuration for the five or six years I have been using Firefox, and I have not installed a new program in the past few months. I also run AVG automatically every day.

I want to get notes off of my iPod, but I don't want to make set up a Mail account because I just check my mail online, and I don't want to hassle with using the app.

After downloading newest firefox an option showed up: do you want one on these new skins to top your opening page? I opted for one of them and now can't get rid of it. I prefer the old . What's there now looks like a background for several toolbars. Contrast is bad.

You can set Firefox back to using the default theme. Open the add-ons manager (in the tools menu select Add-ons), in the add-ons manager go to the Themes panel. Click on the Default theme in the list of themes then click on the "Use Theme" button.

Since upgrading, if I open more than one page, I can't type in the URL bar nor do any type of command in the extra page. I can only use Firefox if only one window is open.

If I open more than one Firefox page, the extra page(s) aren't responsive and all links/buttons are grayed out and unusueable.

You can try using an extension to pretend to the website that you are using IE ([https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/] may help), but there are no guarantees, as the website may use ActiveX (which is an IE only format).
