Hi All,
We are facing issues while uploading .TIFF file into standard text through program RSTXLDMC.
Getting the following error.
TIFF format error: No baseline TIFF 6.0 file.
The image is a colored one.
Please provide me solution if anyone has worked in this area.

Hi,
Often this error occurs because the TIFF file you have has been saved with some form of compression. You need to open in a picture edit program and save as TIFF making sure options are set so there is no compression.

I called the bank customer service and they told me that ,
We need to enter in our SAP the Bank ID ,
We have to enter there : NAB
Customer service told me that their bank is looking for Bank ID ,
But canu2019t see it , so the payment is not going through.
Can you please help me that where in SAP Bank ID should be entered, so as to upload this file successfully.

While creating House Banks you can find Button called Data Medium Exchange. There is Bank Id field.

b'se the program needs be executed in background there can lot of csv file in one folder. No manual interaction on those csv files.

Case's are :

3. User Is Using Application Using Terminal Server LogIn.
4. So If User Will Use to GET_FILE_NAME() function of D2K to Get Excel File , D2k Will Try to pick File from That Remote Server(Bcs User Logind from Terminal Server Option).
5. Cannot Use Util_File Package Or Oracle Directory to Place That File on Server.
6. we are Using Oracle 8.7
So Need Some PL/SQL Package or Fuction/ Procedure to Upload Excel file on User's Pc to Oracle Table.

TEXT_IO is a PL/SQL package available only in Forms (you'll want to post in the Forms forum for more information). It is not available in a stored procedure in the database (where the equivalent package is UTL_FILE).
If the Terminal Server machine and the database machine do not have access to the file system on the client machine, no application running on either machine will have access to the file. Barring exceptional setups (like the FTP server on the client machine), your applications are not going to have more access to the client machine than the operating system does.
If you map the client drives from the Terminal Server box, there is the potential for your Forms application to access those files. If you want the files to be accessible to a stored procedure in the database, you'll need to move the files somewhere the database can access them.

I'd be careful here: LR references files. It can copy them, like from an SD card to your hard drive, but it doesn't necessarily make duplicates. So when you say you "transferred" those files "into" LR it just means you referenced existing files. And if you delete those they're gone, unless you've made copies. LR does not import files by copying them into a managed library like Aperture does.

Uploading & Downloading Files into DMS Server using Web Dynpro Java

Hello Friends,
      I want to Upload a file from Portal to Document Management Server and to Download a file from Document Management Server to Portal, In short, I want to give the user the facility to Upload a File into DMS Sever via Portal and also to download the file from DMS Sever via Portal.
Can anybody give me a Input for the same from Both Java Development End as well as ABAP End, more inputs are required from ABAP end, since i have a very less ABAP Experience on working with DMS. Few Questions i have in my mind?
1. How to actually access the file contents with the help of Document Number?
2. With the help of Doc-Number we can extract the file from DMS sever but to provide a option for downloading in portal, the   RFC should convert the File Contents into X-String or is there some other way?
+3. While Uploading the Data should be given in Which format to RFC? Are there any limitation with respect to size or formats. Is there any Standard RFC i can use directly in WD4 Java application to upload the file into DMS Server and which will return me the Document Number? +
Please give me your valuable inputs.

Now, I am able to download the File in Portal via my WD4 Java Application from DMS Server by passing the Document Number, but I am facing the problem in downloading the PDF files, Its not working for PDF files. Please give me inputs for the same.

Error While uploading PAR File into NWDS

Hi Experts,
I have been to this location:
Server(D)\usr\sap\P64(SID)\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd
I have copied this file com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak and pasted on my desktop.
Changed the name to com.mycompany.portal.runtime.logon.par
I tried to upload the file to NWDS(File --> Import --> Par file) and I am getting the fallowing error.

I am unable to upload the Par file did i miss something?

Dear Siva,
that is indeed strange.
Still don't know if this could be an issue with your NWDS or the PAR itself.
So let's do 2 tests
===============================================
TEST NR. 1
Let's try and check the NWDS first by creating a custom PAR.
Don't worry, it's easy.
Just open your NWDS and go to the top menu
File > New > Project
Inside the popup window that will open please choose
Portal Application (on the left) and Create a Portal Application Project (on the right)
Then give any name you would like (no spaces or dots, etc...)
You now have a Portal project created on NWDS ( you will see a folder on the left side with your project name)
Click on that folder with your LEFT mouse button and choose EXPORT
Choose PAR File
Choose your Project
Choose a path where you want your PAR file to be saved. (uncheck the deploy PAR file, but check the include the source code).
And click Finish.
Now delete the project you have created (by clicking on the folder with your LEFT mouse button again, but chose DELETE project)
Now you're ready to re-import the PAR file.

TEST NR. 2
Maybe your standard PAR file that you've downloaded doesn't have the source code included or is corrupted.
Please try to open it with a ZIP program and check what type of structure/files you have there.
Have you also checked your NWDS log ?
You could also share here that log, so that I can better help you.

Can i upload tiff file into mac to add labels to it.

i am new to mac and need to open a tiff file to add labels to it, I don't need to amend the image itself. Pages won't open it and I have also tried istudio. I just get the following message The document “garden.tiff” could not be opened. iStudio Publisher cannot open files in the “Preview Document” format. I have an iMac - using OS X Yosemite

Thanks Tom, but I want to add labels to the image and not just view it. Is there an application that will allow me to do that. I have spent hours googling and trying to sort myself but to no avail.
I have also, just briefly tried to use preview to open and then export the tif file but get the following message The document “garden.gif” could not be exported as “garden”. The volume is read only.

Problem in upload flat file into bw-bps using web browser

I have follwed the steps as per the how to guide to upload flat file,its seems to be fine but when try to upload by running the URL its giving error "Value of variable Data Slice Global ( ZFIE0ALL ) cannot be determined " and warning "Errors occurred when executing planning function TUPLOAD(EXIT FOR UPLOAD DATA)/T0000000(WEB UPLOAD".
Since i am new to BW/BPS , also let me know, how test it , when i run file_upload URL directly its giving follwing error.

     An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL occurred, but was neither      handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause
When i run page1 url and if i file_load url, then its prompt me to see upload function, path for flat file. Error while uploading a LOGO into SAP by using SE78

Hi All
we are not able to uplaod a LOGO into DEV200 but the same LOGO is successfully uploaded into DEV215. When we tried in DEV200 it is giving the error "ERROR LOADING FILE <PATH>".
As a Basis/ Security consultant I checked:
1) Authorizations
2) Client settings ( in SCC4 ) and System Change Optioin in SE06
These both are looks fine.
Can anyone Please help to resolve this issue.

Which type of scheduling setting have you configured for WBS scheduling and for n/w. ?
Also, download calendar from SAP to MSP and then add column 'Task Calendar' in which select the downloaded calendar.

Can any one please give me an example use of FM "GUI_UPLOAD" which to upload a EXCEL file????? (not .txt)

GUI_UPLOAD doesnt perform such conversion (Excel, Word, PDF) and wont give you a suitable result, use one of the FM mentioned above or [office integration|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/21/b53138e1ba11d2bdbe080009b4534c/frameset.htm] or OLE or convert your Excel sheet to a simpler format : txt, csv, xml.

Getting error while uploading multiple files in sharepoint hosted app in 2013 with REST API

In one of my tasks, I was struck with one issue, that is "While uploading multiple files into custom list with REST API".
Iam trying to upload multiple files in library with REST calls for an APP development, my issue is if i wants to upload 4 image at once its storing only
3 image file and further giving "Conflict" error". Below is the attached screenshot of exact error.

THis is common issue if your file size exceeds
upload a document of size more than 1mb. worksss well for kb files.
