ITunes is telling me that I've already authorized 5 computers and that i have to de-authorize one to play my music! How can i fix this when the only computer I've authorized is my own.

What I think has happened in the past 5years I've been using iTunes, I've cleaned off my hard drive 5times and saving all my music in the process. Each time I start over iTunes asks me to autherize that particular computer, but that computer/OS doesnt exsist anymore. How do I fix this?

Hello, I was trying to purchase Whats app, when I try to enter my credit card info, it keep telling that my security number don´t match, but my credit card got charged, 3 time in a row. I can send a screen capture of the message telling that already charged my card.
How can I fix this problem? I mean how can I download the app or get the credit in the store or get my money back?

My scroll bar is now missing on some of my pages that I need to scroll through and it won't let me use my mouse to scroll either, how can I get this back?

When I am logged into the tool section of our website where I process orders or make edits to products on our website, the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen is missing. So I am unable to view orders or products that go down further than what I can view immediately on my screen. The scroll bar is only missing on pages with lists of items it is not missing if I click into an individual order. I really need this back so I can work on the website.

That file might have moved to a different location on the server. I think you'll need to check with RefWorks support or your local IT department on why the install page links do not work.

The iPod sees the new computer as a new iTunes library. You can only sync with one iTunes library. However, you can manage music among disfferent computers. See:

The pre-2006 iMacs this forum covers cannot run any higher than OS10.5.8, and Apple pretty much stopped pushing out any updates for anything other than the current version.
If your iMac is a newer model (covered here: iMac (Intel) forum) you can run at least 10.6.8, available for purchase rather cheaply here:

and it's possible you can run higher depending on your iMac variant. So find your iMac variant, please do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu and, in the resulting window, click the "More Info" button to get this screen:
Please tell us the code name ans number for your computer in the line I've indicated with the red arrow. For an iMac, it will either be in the format, "PowerMacX,X" or "iMacX,X" depending on the age of your iMac. The trailing numbers where I put Xs will help us help you determine what exact variant you have and what upgrade options are available.
Also tell us how much RAM is installed. Newer OS versions often need more RAM that older iMacs shipped with.

This is what worked:
"In iTunes, I signed out of the store. I exited itunes and restarted it, logged back into the store (with my apple id), then I pulled down the iTunes menu in the menu bar and selected Check for updates.
At this point it said that iTunes 11.1 was available and I'm downloading now " Quoted from a fellow user.

The most common cause for this issue would be media present that is purchased with another Apple ID. When prompted to authorize the computer it may show a different Apple ID. Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart.
Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

Then I got a new ipod because my old ipod won't play anymore podcast and now itunes is saying that I can't authorize my computer to play any of my music I purchased because I have authorized too many computers. Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't (only) de-authorise computers you no longer have access to.
Your only option is to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise those you wish to be authorised. You can do this by logging into your account settings in iTunes on your computer (Store > View My ID) and selecting the option to de-authorise all.
Please note however, you are only permitted to do this once in each 12 month period, therefore you would be better de-authorising your computers before you lose access to them. you can do this from the 'Store' menu in iTunes.

Delete the song (move it to the Trash) and download it again under iTunes Store>Quick Links>Purchased>Music>Songs>Not in My Library.

You can use any computer but your data will be lost if you have no backup.
