JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 and IPAD2

Hi,
We have developed the ADF application using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.
This application works fine on desktop (Windows as well as on MAC) with browsers like (IE, Chrome, Safari).
Now we are testing this application on IPAD 2.
The application itself is working fine on IPAD 2 but we are getting JavaScript error whenever there is ADF popup comes.
We have enabled debug console of IPAD and find the following error:
"JavaScript error: Null not an object” but it doesn’t say any JavaScript name.
Though it’s no affecting or application our client doesn’t want this error in console.
Can somebody please help?

I did post this with Oracle Support. Hasn't been resolved yet, but I'll bet they need to make a few changes in the way JDev configures the Integrated WebLogic server, and to instructions to developers. If I'm right, this won't be fixed until a later version of JDev.
Workaround -
You can change XSQLConfig.xml to switch from the data source connection factory to the XML Developer Kit's own connection factory. Instructions are in the comments. This will mean that you need to add your database connection information to the <connections> section of XSQLConfig.xml, rather than using a connection that you define in JDeveloper (found in connections.xml). And then change the connection attribute in your .xsql file.
Only problem I'm having now is that the include-owa action is REALLY SLOW in WebLogic. I may have to start ANOTHER Support Request with Oracle Support - and this time it isn't just inconvenient, it is critical. I've got several of these XSQL applications working just fine in OC4J, but they've GOT to perform just as well in WebLogic.

One thing that might work is .... Go to the purchased tab in the app store. Tap on an app that needs an update. That will take you to the app description page. Tap on the app icon in there and see if you can download the update. Could be very time consuming, but it might work.
This is a recently talked about trick that might work. Its more for the "Cant' connect to the iTunes Store" issue, but you can try it.
Go to Settings>General>Date and time. Change the date and time to some time in the future and see if that helps.
Lastly, you can always update the apps in iTunes on your computer and them sync them to the iPad.

I also get this problem on my iPad, so probably not related to the AppleTV. On the iPad I restarted Airport Extreme this time, and then the iPad saw my Home Sharing.
So to recap, restarting the router or Airport Express allowed the iPad and AppleTV to see Home Sharing. Restarting AppleTV also allows AppleTV to see Home Sharing.
So does anyone have any idea?

My imac and ipad2 will not connect to the internet with Windstream using an 2wire DSL modem.

Help my brand new imac and ipad2 will not connect to the internet with Windstream using an "2WIRE" DSL modem. Windstream tech service is useless. i can connect with the built in router through Ethernet or wireless, but still no connecting to internet, help! windstream said everything is working on their end, yea right. What i do know is that both the mac and ipad work at other places and can connect with wireless connected to the internet, so i know it's not the apple products.
these are brand new machines with lion.
This is my first mac, so I’m still new to how it works, which is not helping either so a detailed help would be great. Please help before my wife losses it

There is a 2701HG-B, and a 2701HG-D. If not labelled on the modem, ask Windstream which one they presently supply or how to tell the difference.
By the way tell your wife it isn't that bad. At least you have an ethernet DSL modem. There were times where DSL modems had RJ-11, USB, and Ethernet, and all three were used to provide access. At least now only the craziest DSL providers still use those modems.

I did put my iPod into DFU and iTunes recognized it in restore mode. After restore I am back where I was before - iTunes cannot connect because of an unknown error.
I have installed Jailbreak to see if I can bypass itunes but haven't succeeded. I can't get my computer to recopgnize the iPod as a device.
I'll take it to a Genius bar next time I am in the area of one. Until then I'll probably continue to try hacks to get it connected.

ARD is totally unnecessary and inapplicable for your scenario. ARD is a Mac OS X application for managing other Macs and is not useful if you want to connect to a Mac from some other OS. Mac OS X has a VNC client build int, so VNC, or one of the number of other remote control solutions - LogMeIn, for instance, if they offer a Linux version - is where you want to be looking.

Jdeveloper 10.1.3.4 and subversion extension

I downloaded jdeveloper 10.1.3.4 and when i try to apply the subversion update from the help menu and it is no longer is available, no updates display and only 11g is available as the update. Can anybody tell me how to install the subversion update by using the update option in jdeveloper?

Can you check that you don't already have subversion support - versioning menu->select version system

I upgraded to ver. 10.4 and now my pc freezes when trying to back up my iphone and ipad2

Since upgrading itunes to 10.4.3 I am unable to upgrade my software on my iphone 3GS and ipad2. As itunes first backs up these devices, it gets to Step 1 and then freezes. I am running Win 7 and had no problems with the previous versions of itunes.
Has anyone else run into this problem?

I am having the same issue. I just got a iPad2 and Sync'd it to my PC on Monday worked fine.... I added photo and then went back and changed the directory structure to organize them and now upon optimizing them it freezes and I get a windows error tell me the fail module is QuickTiime. I uninstalled the Apple of products and reinstall them and I still get the same issue. Everything worked fine before I Sync'd the iPad.....

Syncing with new computer
1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.

If you backed up your iphone to icloud, then there's a chance that doing a restore might bring back your photos. I say "chance" because many users have tried that (assuming they had photos turned in for backups in settings), but ended up not getting back any photos. If that happens, then they are gone.
Remember, you should have been syncing photos all along to a computer for archiving. Don't trust the pictures to an icloud backup.

How good are the internet connections you are using?
I've found that a faster connection improves the quality tremendously. I regularly Skype from France to Australia using a 20mb connection (France) and 8mb connection (Australia) and the quality is superb most of the time. When I only had a 1mb connection the call quality was often quite poor.
I've only ever used the free service so I'm not sure paying would make any difference.
