Lookup.usr_process_triggers not firing

Hello All
I have setup an attribute in the USR table to be sent to ad. When I do the provisioning for new users, everything works. When I go to the process form for ad and update an attribute, the <attribute> update process tasks is completing just fine. But, when adding the field to the lookup.usr_process_triggers lookup, nothing is happening. in all my other environments, you would see the process task fire when making the change in the USR form in the admin console, but for some reason, I am not seeing it fire on my current system. I have verified that the code / decode values are exactly the same, but I cannot get it to trigger when making the change to the field. Any help you can give would be helpful.

You don't have to restart the instance, it should get picked automatically. Anyway here is what I meant form the last post:
- You don't have to modify the existing entries in the look-up definition as OIM would not allow that
- Instead let's say if Change XYZ is your custom task which is not getting fired then I hope the entry in the lookup would be something like
Code Key=USR_UDF_XYZ & Decode = Change XYZ
If this is not getting fired then try modifying the code key to say USR_FIRST_NAME and then try edit the First Name of the user. Now this task should get inserted along with Change First Name

    Whenever a user's OIM attribute is modified, I want that value to be pushed to the user's AD resource. I am not able to get this to work.
    Here are the steps I took:
    In the Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS, I added the code key (attribute column name in usr table) and decode (Name of the process task).
    In the AD User Process Definition, I added the task (same name as the decode) attached with an out of the box adapter called "adpADIDCRETURNTEXTVALUE". Also, I created an Updated task for that attribute.
    I've validated these process tasks by manually going into a user's AD resource history and calling the process tasks. This works fine.
    My issue here is whenever I change the user's OIM attribute, my process task for that attribute does not get called. I do not see this task in the AD resource history.
    I am only able to get the "Change User Password" task to work (gets triggered whenever reset password happens). My custom ones and the other out of the box tasks doesn't work.
    What is the reason for this? Do I need to set a system property for this? Is it possible my event handlers (User) are interfering?

    Try creating a custom adapter and attach the adapter to the process task which you have created. This adapter should read the user profile value and populate in the AD provisioning form. Then test the flow for one attribute. As I am suspecting that there would be an issue with OOTB adapter.

  • Task in Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS not getting  called

    We have created a process task adapter and copied this in Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS. This adapter works only when some change happens in User Form in a particular field (say First name).This adapter is not getting called for the users who are created through Bulk Upload. Although it is getting called when I am creating a user manually.

    This the issue with 11.1.1.5 version of OIM. It doesn't trigger on trusted recon. install BP02 for resolving this issue. We had resolved this by installing this patch

  • Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS not working with trusted reconciliation oim 11g

    Hi,
    I am facing one issue while running the trusted incremental reconciliation in OIM 11g.
    In the bulkEvent of the event handler I am checking if the operation is MODIFY then I am comparing some attributes and based of that result I am performing some action.
    Now the issue is that if the first name or last name of the users gets changed in OIM due to trusted reconciliation then the Change First Name or Change Last Name Process task should get execute on the resources provisioned to the user. This is not happening in my case.
    I tried modifying the first name of the user via UI and then the Change First Name Process task got executed.
    Please let me know if I need to do some thing extra to get this working.

  • Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS

    Hi All,
    I experienced a strange behavior of OIM. When I try to change OIM user profile fields (even the default one) these changes are not propagated to an AD resource form. I don't see any suspicious in logs so really stuck c/z don't know what to check.
    Do you have any ideas of what I could change/check to get an explanation/reason of this behavior?

    Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS contains a series of OIM USER attributes and process task name mappings.
    For Example,
    USR_UDF_LOCATION - Change User Location
    So we have an user defined field "Location" for OIM profile.
    We should add a conditional process task "Change User Location" in AD User Process.
    OIM will trigger this particular task when user profile modifies.
    This should have an adapter mapped to it such that the adapter would take care of fetching the location details from OIM and putting it in AD.
    The same procedure can be followed for all the attributes whose updation should be propogated to target system.

    We have an SSIS package that runs on clustered MSSQL 2012 Enterprise Nodes that is failing.  We use a job to executer the package.
    Environmental information:
    Product - Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise: Core-based Licensing (64-bit)
    Operating System - Microsoft Windows NT 6.1 (7601)
    Patform - NT x64
    Version - MSSQL Version 11.0.3349.0
    Package is set to 32 -bit.  All permissions verified.  Runs in lower environments, same MSSQL version.  All environments are clustered.  In the failing environment, all nodes are at the same service pack.  I have not verified if all
    nodes in the failing environment have SSIS installed.  Data access is installed.  We have other simpler packages that run in this environment, just not this one.  Time to ask the community for help!

    According to your description, the error occurs when you execute the package with Agent job on clustered MSSQL 2012 Enterprise Nodes.
    As per my understanding, I think this issue can be caused by you use SQL Server Agent to schedule a SQL Server Integration Services package in a 64-bit environment. And the SSIS package is referencing some 32-Bit DLL or 32-Bit drivers which are available
    only in 32-bit versions, so the job failed.
    To fix this issue, we should use the 32-bit version of the DTExec.exe utility to schedule the 64-bit SQL Server Agent to run a package. To run a package in 32-bit mode from a 64-bit version of SQL Server Agent, we can go to the Job Step dialog box, then
    select “32 bit runtime” in the Advanced tab.
    Besides, we should make sure that SQL Server Integration Services is installed on the failing environment.

  • Key-nextrec not firing in forms 10g

    I have a code in the above trigger, but it is not firing, I have it in the block property and no other place in the form

    when-new-record-instance runs when you navigate to the next record.
    Key-Nxtrec (Nxtrec is the correct spelling) only runs when you press the key assigned to call that trigger. In my environment, it is the Shift+ Down-Arrow key, but it could be just Down-Arrow -- it all depends on what key sequence is assigned to Forms Function Number 67 in your Forms Resource file, FMRWEB.res (or fmrusw.res).
    So if the trigger runs when you press the correct keyboard key, and you issue the message but do not call the Next_Record; built-in, focus will not navigate to the next record in your running form.

        My client requirement is to sent mail to sold party when saving a sales order.
      For this I creted a new output type with following assignments
    In General data tab:acess sequence assigned and Access to conditions is checked
    In Default values tab: Dispatch time(send immadiately), transmission medium(External send), partner function(Sp
    ),Communication strategy(CS01) assigned.
    In Time tab: no information given
    In Storage system tab :Storage mode(print and archive),Document type(SDOORDER) info given.
    In Print tab: print parameters(sales org) assigned.
    In mail tab: nothing assigned.
    In sort order tab:nothing assigned
    In mail title and texts: En and DE languages are assigned.
    in processing routines: program and form routine is assgned.
    in partner functions: External send+ SP is maintained.
    and in condtion record maintained in VV11 tcode with details
    Partner function and in communication assigned printer and  selected check box print immadiately and release after out.
    But automatic mail is not firing when saving the sales order, but in change sales order in menu bar selected sales document and issue output to and selected print then mail is firing to the sold to party, pls tell me where i had done the mistake.

    Check whether you have maintained the email address in the customer master of Sold to party in the General Data>Address Tab> Under Communication Area??
    In the SCOT Transaction, check under SMTP (SMTP Mail Server)-->under INT (Internet) --> an  '*' asterisk has been maintained or not.
    Check the status of the email output in the Sales Order, is it showing with a green traffic light???
    If it is showing with a green traffic light you can manually see the status of the mail mesages in Transaction SOST.(by executing, by putting the Sender Id)
    If they have not gone you will be able to see them queued up there.
    Select the individual messages and press execute button. By doing this email outputs will be released.
    Hope this helps you.
    Caution: One word of caution is that SCOT is a very critical transaction. And if you are working on a live server, do not play with it as it controls the entire SAPconnect Administration Nodes.

  • Breakpoints not firing

    Hello Dev's,
    I am having a problem in only one project and I have even tried to recreate the project with no success but previous projects created years prier (made with previous versions of FB) are not experiencing this.
    I am trying to place breakpoints on functions in deep rooted classes (a class that is loaded by a class by a class, its a smaller component from a greater project) which I know is firing as I see the results on the screen.
    However the break point does not fire and remains a blue circle, indicating it won't fire. If I remove and re add the break point while the app is running, it will become checked but once I run the debugger the break point turns back into a blue dot.
    If I put a break point in one of the first lines of the application class, like in it's constructor, it will trigger and then my deeper break points will fire. But if I don't make this out of the way break point (in the main class) the following break points are not firing.
    Thoughts?
    Flex Builder 4.5
    SDK 4.5.1
    Debugger 11.6.5.635 (in FireFox)

    I haven’t seen that before, but in theory would be possible if several SWFs are being loaded and you get a class collision and the breakpoint in the app changes the timing of the loaded SWFs.

  • OnRowUpdating Event not firing in my DataGrid in custom web part in my production SharePoint 2013 Foundation instance

    Hi,
    I have a custom visual web part that I've developed for SharePoint 2013 Foundation.  I am using Visual Studio 2013 to develop this web part. 
    In my visual web part I have GridView that I use to update data in a SQL 2008 R@ Server Database.  In dev and test the OnRowUpdatingEvent fires properly, but in production it does not.  I have the same version of SharePoint running on dev/test/prod. 
    The main difference between the three environments is the hardware.  Production has a much beefier sever than dev and test.  Dev and test are also virtual machines where production is.
    At first I thought my problem was cache related, and I made adjustments per this article:

    That didn't help because the event is still not firing.  I took my test application and pointed it to the production database, and that event still fires in test but not in production. So I believe that eliminates database permission errors since I'm
    using the same credentials in both instances.
    My guess is that I need to change some settings in the production environment, but I'm not sure at this point what that might be.
    Any suggestions on what settings to look at?

    I am working on an Oracle 10g database and am using Oracle Forms Developer 10g to create forms. I have created a new 2 field table in my database:

    I have also created a form so that users can enter data into this table. I have a career_cluster data block in my form with two items: career_cluster_code (set with a maximum length of 3 in my property palette) and career_cluster_desc (set with a maximum length of 30 in my property palette). Both items are also set in the property palettes to a char data type. In my SQL code (in the form) I always have these two items set as varchar2 with (3) and (30), respectively.
    The form opens fine when I run it, however when I click on my SAVE button my KEY-COMMIT trigger is not fired -- it jumps directly to my ON-ERROR trigger and I get an Oracle ORA-06502 error message. I don't see any inconsistencies in my data types or lengths. Below is my KEY-COMMIT code:

    I put in a DISP_ALERT message right after the BEGIN statement but it never displayed so I don't think this trigger is firing. I also put a similar DISP_ALERT message in my ON-ERROR trigger and that does display, so I know it is going right to my ON-ERROR trigger. Does anyone have any ideas what might be triggering the ON-ERROR?

    ORA-06502 is a numeric or value error string which is raised when an arithmetic, numeric, string, conversion, or constraint error occurrs. For example, this error occurs if an attempt is made to assign the value NULL to a variable declared NOT NULL, or if an attempt is made to assign an integer larger than 99 to a variable declared NUMBER(2).
    I would suggest you to look at the columns definitions in the table and the form fields/variables data types and lengths and make sure they are same as the backend table columns.
    Also, you don't need to put NULL; after each IF ELSE conditions if you have any other statements.
    I would also suggest that you handle any errors in either exception handler of the block or in the ON-ERROR triggers.

    What is the purpose of email sent to document library if no attachment. What document library will do what that email if it cant find attachment to save and create a spdoc object. If you want to store email/communication body then opt for site mailbox

  • Help on BPM Steps (Lookups are not allowed, so only BPM)

    Hi Experts,
    Please help me to design the BPM for the following process (A mandatory rule is Lookups are not allowed so I must finish this with out using lookups.)
    Step1. We get a file from FTP, Once we get  the file, We need to get the next unique identification number from a webservice(a sync call, As per our rule, u201CNot to use  lookupsu201D).By the way there is no relation between the data fields for the FTP file and this SOAP call, i.e. the SOAP request is having constants as inpput.,but once I receive the file then only I need to make a call to get the next unique identification number.
    Step2. Once we receive the unique identification number from the SOAP call, I need to merge this identification number with the file (I have received from the FTP in STEP1) and then needs to send to a RFC which is a sync call again and it returns a logical number.After getting this logical number then only go the next step(The returned logical number means a confirmation for us,i.e after getting the number just go to next step)
    Step3. After getting the logical number from RFC, I need to send the obtained unique identification number( Of Step1, Webservices Unique identification) to another FTP as asynch.
    This one is easy when we use lookups, but we have a condition u201Cnot to use lookups!u201D  so please suggest me the steps(BPM) to do, which donu2019t let the BPM down.

    Your complete BPM design will be:
    Receuve(FILE_ABS_Async)->Transformation(ToPutConstantsInTheSOAPReq)->SyncSend(SOAP_ABS_Sync)->Transformation(Needed, format will be 2:1; will have FileMSG_&_SOAPResp as source MSGs and RFCReq as target MSG)->SyncSend(RFC_ABS_Sync)->Switch(To Check if the RFC Logical Number does not exist...if it does not exist then in the condition branch of the Switch put a Control Step (action as Cancel Process)->If RFC Logical Number present then otherwise branch will be executed( nothing to be placed in this otherwise branch)-->Transformation(SOAPRespMSG of SOAP Sync step into FILE message format)-> Send(FILE_ABS_Async)......
    Wherever you have sync send steps put them in a block and insert an exception branch in that Block....in the exception branch put some logic which will be executed when there is an error in the Sync Call.....so your BPM wont fail even if the Sync Send fails.....
