Need help merging two users
I mistakenly have 2 users profiles for my desktop and want to merge them into one. Any advice?
Apps should be stored in the application folder. Either user should have access to them. If not, check the accounts an make sure they are not restricted.
For the iTunes accounts, if you have music in both users, then you can't simply merge the 2 accounts.
What you need to do is decide which account you are going to keep. Log into the other account you are going to delete.
For iTunes, you will need to export the music Library to another drive. If you have no other drive, then export the music library to the desktop. Then, move or copy that to the desktop of the other user. Desktop should be the only file you have access to on the other user.
For any other files, copy them to the external drive or to the desktop of the other user. You might want to just copy the whole user folder to the desktop of the other user. Then all files will be availabel.
Once the above is done, log back into the user you want to keep. For iTunes, open the application and import the music from the exported music file you did earlier. Then all music should be in one library.
Next, copy or move any files from the other files or user folder you copied to the desktop.
Once all is done and working OK, then just delete the other account and all files on the desktop no longer needed.

Can you merge two user accounts on a macbook? my wife has created a new user on her new macbook air then, inadvertently, created a second one when using the migration tool. 1st a/c has her office 365 install, while 2nd has her itunes database, docs and contacts. What is the best way forward to get everything into the one account? There is no merge but you can move data from one account to another via the Shared folder. Data is copied from Shared. Watch your free space when copying. These are large files. Do one at a time if you are on a small drive. After making copy, delete from other users before you start next copy.
Office365 installs in the main Applications folder and is available for all users on the computer. Activation is tied to the drive not the User. -
How to merge two user accounts?
I have two user accounts I would like to merge into one. What would be the easiest way to go about doing this? I am mostly concerned about moving files, including preferences files, handling the mail accounts and browers bookmarks shouldn't be too troublesome for me.
ThanksMy favourite way to move files from Account A to Account B:
1) Log in to the A account.
2) Locate all the files you want to move. Move them to /Users/A/Public. Note: Don't move any System-created top-level folders, like Documents, Pictures, Music, Movies, etc. Just move their contents.
3) Log in to the B account.
4) Navigate with Finder to /Users/A/Public. Drag the files to the Desktop. This will make new copies of them that will have the correct permissions for User B.
5) Put the new copies of the files away in the appropriate places in B's home folder.
6) Delete the A user account if it is no longer needed.
Doing it this way will ensure that there are no permissions headaches with the files after they are moved.
Also, make sure that you BACK UP all of your data before starting. -

I went to "clip" and highlighted the clip i wanted to join to the one ahead and clicked "join clip"

Need help in merging array of strong edges (coordinates).
Already using array in 'if else' but have problem in merging those sequence values into two arrays of x and y coordinates (it will take all coordinates in image).

REALLY need help about two accounts, 1 Mac
I really really need help.
Back ground. I have a bought my daughter an itouch 4th gen for Christmas. I have set up a new user account on the macbook pro, Set her up a new Apple ID, but I want to share the music. So i did what was said, moved the media folder to a shared folder.
Got the music shared onto her itunes libary, although when I added to Library it transfered all my apps, which I deleted.
I did a trial run of downloading an app, and its not showing in the library? WHY??
Please can someone help me before it goes out the window.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to merge the user accounts which have duplicated names in SharePoint 2013.
Were there duplicated user accounts in Active Directory?
If not, the user may had two accounts in AD and one of the accounts that doesn't exist anymore is still used in SharePoint.
Please check if there is any permission assignment to this user, remove all their assignments and add them again only for the valid account.

How to merge two users in design repository
Hi,
i want to clone a design repository. But i got an error.
The problem is that i have 2 User in my design repository. One User is the owner of the tables and one User fills the tables.
For clone the repository i mustn't have 2 Users. Can i migrate the two user into one User?

WolleThere's no simple way to merge two accounts. What you can do is log into the account that you want to move (and, presumably, delete) and put all of the data into the Shared folder. Then log into the account that you want to keep and put all the documents, music, etc., from the 'old' account into the keeper account/ Log back into the old account and make sure that all your data is gone, then log back into the keeper account and delete the old account.
It's pretty simple, really, if you just use the Shared folder to move documents.

Bestbuy created another account for me when i signed up for their credit card and now i have two accounts. I need them to be merged into one especially since I need the purchases too be all under one account not two.
I have not gotten a response back regarding merging my two accounts. A second account was created when i opened up a bestbuy credit and i need them to be merged together. As long as the primary information (name, phone #, mailing address) associated with each account matches exactly, then I should have no problem merging them. Any points/certificates in the closed account would be transferred over to the primary account during the merge. Need to merge 2 user accounts in iTunes
I hope I am posting in the right area. I am having problems with my computer and I need to delete one of my user accounts. There are seperate iTunes on each account that I need to try to merge onto one user account and I have no idea how to do it. We have tried to do this before so that all the songs will be in one area but could not figure out how to do it and have to log into seperate accounts to access all songs. Can someone please help??
ThanksI don't think you can merge 2 itunes libraries, but you can certainly move all music files into a common folder.
In the account you are getting ready to delete, you'll need to run the itunes consolidate command.

I need help migrating domain user profiles in a refresh scenario using hardlinks.

I am trying to create a TS that will capture all of the domain users and their settings from a machine. Then refresh it with a new O/S and restore the data.
I don't want to use a state migration point and I would prefer to save the data to the machine.
I am using a MDT TS with the standard TS steps.
There are two sections to USMT.
Online USMT
Offline USMT
I have set the Online USMT to capture locally by using hardlinks instead of copying files. But I read that this doesn't work unless you set the
OSDStateStorePath variable to a value. In my example I would need that to be a local folder on the machine. Does the folder have to exist on the machine?
There is also a condition that has been set on the Restore User State step.
OSDStateStorePath exists
If any of the conditions are true
Folder %OSDStateStorePath%\USMT exists
Folder %OSDStateStorePath%\USMT3 exists
I would like to get this working.

Need Help waiting for user input.
I've got a simple card game, which I've pretty much made all with swing. I have a JTextField and a JButton. I want the user to input a number into the textfield and the click the button which fires the action listener. This then takes the text and reads it and set a boolean hasBid to true. I don't want to program to continue until this has happened so I made an empty while(!hasBid) loop. The first time through, the program starts and stop until the user inputs something and click the button. The second time through, however, the whole window freezes. For somereason object aren't even being displayed which are displayed before this while loop. Without the while loop, everything runs fine, but the program won't stop to wait for input.
So, my question pretty much is how can I get the program to stop for user input in a function which will be called multiple times. I don't want to use a JOptionPane or anyother pop-up box. If my way won't work, I'd really like to know of another way. Thanks for any help!you simply need to separate the functionality of your input object and the card game into two threads. as sanbingo said, running in a while loop prevents your GUI from even drawing its components.
Remember: AWT/Swing is an event driven interface! so only events can/should cause some action to happen.
i'd properly implement an event listener which is fired when the input is received. the listener is your game class which upon receipt of the event starts playing. when its done, its done, ie doesn't do anything until it receives an new event from your input object.

Need help w/BW user authorization to see Web Templates thru portal

We have designed Web Templates in BW which we intend to use through the SAP Portal. When these web templates are accessed via a URL which also passes a generic CPIC UserID/Password (created on the BW server), the template is fully functional and does not prompt the user for any further authentication. When we try to call up this same URL via the portal (including the CPIC User ID and password information), the report under /sap/bw/BEx comes up fine, but we are prompted for logins for nearly every object under the /MIME/ repository called by the Web Template. We have already set the /sap/bw/BEx/MIME service (ICF) to be an anonymous service (using the same UserID and Password that we are passing in the URL). So, to me it seems like additional role needs to be assigned to this user. Any ideas?
