NEW F5, F55 Firmware Version v4.11 and AXS-R5 v4.1

All,
We are releasing firmware version 4.11 for the F5, F55 and version 4.1 for the AXS-R5 RAW recorder
(Version 5 firmware is expected before the end of the year)
Please note:
If you proceed to update firmware, you must update both the camera and AXS-R5 RAW recorder, you must not update one without updating the other
The cameras must be minimum v2.0 firmware before updating to this release v4.11 firmware version
Do not upgrade AXS-R5 to this release v4.1 firmware unless you are at minimum v1.20 firmware on the recorder.
Interval Recording:
There is no change regarding the Interval Recording feature in V4.11. Thus Interval Recording is not included in this release.
Usage of AXS-A256S24 memory card:
You MUST update the AXS-R5 recorder to V4.1 if you want to use the new 256GB card.

This firmware can be updated from V4.1, V4.0, V3.0, V2.0, V2.10 and V2.11. When you want to update F55 and F5 from V1.22 and earlier, you must update to V2.0 first. Regarding the procedure and functions about V2.0, please refer to “PMW-F55/F5 Firmware Version V2.0 Release note” which was released on Oct 4th, 2013.
F55/F5 must not be downgraded to previous versions after updating to V2.11.
NOTE: The new Firmware V4.11 for PMW-F5/55 is only compatible with AXS-R5 running with Firmware V4.1. If your AXS-R5 has installed an older Version please update to current Firmware V4.1 the same time.

We corrected an error of the Payload ID on the 4K SDI output stream.
2. Fixed malfunction of Auto Iris function while using CA-4000
While using CA-4000 (4K Live System) and Auto Iris function, the Iris sometimes moved unintentionally after turning “Auto Iris” off. We fixed it.

I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am experiencing constant network fluctuations on my iphone , no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/bars searching etc... Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet.. I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. Nokia N96 New Firmware Version 30.033 and Camera F...

I updated my Nokia N96 to the new firmware version 30.033 after which my phone camera is not working. When I press on the camera button it gives the message (Camera Feature not Supported). I played many tricks with it but of no use. I reset my phone to the original factory setting through (*#7370#) and Multi-finger process but of no help. I even reinstalled the updated version but the problem still persists. My camera worked fine before the update but now it gives the said message and the phone hanges up on pressing the camera button. I request nokia developers to help fix this problem and check their updates for buge before uploading them to the server to save users from problems & worries. If you found any solution for the problem then please let me know it on my E-Mail ID: I will be grateful for your response.

you should not have had to pay a nokia care point for what ammounts to a warenty repair,
The camera issue with the N96 upgrade is an uncommon but known bug,
If a hard reset, or a firmware reinstall doesn't fix it then take the phone to a nokia care point and have them fix it for free under the warenty

I've Tried to do the reset, reboot, remove iTunes, and restore the new up to date version of iTunes and my itouch still says "Access Denied for 22,356,897 minutes". What can I do now?

NEW Firmware Version 6.01

All,
We are releasing version 6.01 firmware for the F5, and F55 motion picture cameras. Thank you for your feedback in discovering the S/Q, Center Scan issue.
When S&Q setting was set “On” in 2K Center Scan mode or 2K Full Scan mode and the power was turned Off and On, Recording did not work. This update fixes it.
This update includes all other features and functionality as posted in the previous version 6.0 announcement

It's so bad firmware version!
I have lots of problems with new firmware version 4.0707.0.7 that I haven't with past version 4.0623.0.42 !

Does anybody knows when a new firmware update will be released? It seems that the latest release (2013-09-30, version 20130912) has a serious known issue and HP recommends : "Please do not update with this version" on the web site ...
The problem is that the version installed on my printer (version 20130211) seems to have a potential security vulnerability. The vulnerability could be exploited remotely to gain unauthorized access to
data! An intermediate firmware version (2013-07-26, version 20130703) was previously released to correct this issue but I can't find it on hp web site. Does anybody knows where I can find it???
My last question is about firmware update : HP recommends to update firmware by using an USB 2.0 cable connected to the printer. I successfully updated the firmware (twice) with the network interface of the printer. Should I avoid this method and use an USB 2.0 cable?

You can't.
They did this for a reason, as part of FairPlay.
There's no way to get around this.....
If the information on the purchase content is wrong (like wrong release date), contact Apple, and they might be able to correct it.

5310 new firmware version 08.23!

I bought a Nokia 5310 the other day. it had the 5.81 or so firmware on it. Knowing from the boards that 7.01 was available, I immediately upgraded, and to my surprise found that 08.23 was available.
This new firmware hasn't received any discussion or announcement, so I wanted to point out its existance... The date stamp when using *#0000# is 23/7/2008.
Those who can, may also reply to say what differences they found. ;-)

I am a little disappointed by this new update. I previously had the 5.xx firmware version. Some things have been changed, and not necessarily in a good way. The default screensaver has been changed, and it's pretty lame and boring. The default screensaver that I had before the update was really cool, and lots of my friends liked it a lot.
The font size in the music player has been chaged also, it's a little bigger.
Another thing that I have noticed since the update and bothers me (and it's just a personal opinion, maybe it's not a general issue), it's this: in whicever menu I am (excepting the standby screen), the colors are a little dim, the brightness is a little pale, it's like the background color is a little foggy. Before the update, the colors were real good and strong, in whichever menu in the phone I was. But now are a little pale and foggy, which is really disturbing for me.
That is what I noticed in the first hour since the update.
So for now, thumb down for Nokia!
P.S. I also agree that when a new version is released, there also should be some release notes, so we know what to expect.

New drivers / firmware for CDRW? and which one do i have?

hi, i have the Dragonwriter, the sticker on it says made in June 2002. It reports during startup, and in Device Manageras teh CD-RW MS-8340 firmware version 100d. It also says the driver is from Microsoft 4-23-99, but then goes on to say no driver is loaded or required for this device.
Very weird.
I can't yet find any update files on the MSI site ... i found a description of the 8340 which is listed as having a writing speed of 48x ... but mine is more like the CR-40, as it only has 40x according to the label on the box and front of the burner. So shouldn't my drive be reporting something other than 8340?
In any event, the Nero 5.5 s that came with the drive only lets me burn at up to 32x ! Have i been ripped off somehow?
so i'm all confused, can someone please set me straight as to if i need to upgrade or change my drivers/firmware/bios etc? And is it Nero's fault or my drives fault that i can't get the option to write at 40x?

thanks guys! yes, now that i've put a 40x disc in the drive, it is indeed now giving me the option to burn at that speed!
i still need to sort out a problem with the firmware updater. This is what it spits out:
Detecting CD-ROM drives (check 2 IDE cables, 4 ports)
Checking IDE #1 ok
Checking IDE #2 ok
No CD-ROM drive are detected
that seems weird eh? I most certainly do have my cd-rw on Secondary Master, and cd-r on Secondary Slave. Perhaps is this the stupid message it returns with if the firmware doesn't need updating?
btw, how to know what firmware i have? It says 'firmware revision 100d' in Device Mangler, if that is the correct one. Does anyone know to what version the vow-dos.exe updater is set to update to?

There is a new firmware version (2.05) for the Megastick 1 (128). Get it from Megastick 1 firmware page

I upgraded it and didn’t see any major differences. However now there are many volume steps. Apart from that I noticed that when the radio is not tuned to a proper channel there is no noise, not a useful thing but those are the only differences I saw. Still cant record in 44k (records in 22k format). Anyone tried it and saw anything different ?
One other thing, I don’t know whether this existed in earlier firmware versions, when you have a normal file which is not an MP3 file with the .mp3 extension you cant turn it on. I came across this when I tried putting several non MP3 files (ogg ) having the mp3 extension after .ogg didn’t work to see whether they have added support for new standards (Slim chance but who knows… )

N93 no new firmware version available

I'm a brand new discussion board user.
I' bought my N93 thre months ago. My phone ID is 0531236 and my firmware version is 11.0.034.
I've bought also a bluetooth headset BH-900 but it does not work. I've found in this board that there is a new firmware version (20.0...)
that seems to fix the problem. If I try to update my phone via PC application I receive "no new firmware available" as answer.
Any problems with my phone and firmware version?

Hi,
I connected my N79 yesterday on my PC with Nokia OVI.
It tells me that there was a firmware update and launched it.
But during this update, It tells me there was a USB connection problem and launched again the update......during 20 minutes to tell me finaly that there was again a problem.
So, now, I can't start my phone. When I push the power button, the screen lights on few seconds and stop.
I tried to to a hard reset (format) with the three buttons :
1/ 3 + * + green button
2/ Start button with the three button pushed
....but nothing hapens.
When I try to charge the phone, nothing hapens.
