No tracking and error displayed when launching AICC content in IE11

Question

I am publishing a course to AICC format using Captivate 5.5. When I launch the course in SCORM Cloud using IE11, the following error is displayed:"ERROR - LMS did not return a valid status code." The course loads in the background, but tracking doesn't work. 
Note - I've also downloaded a trial version of Captivate 8, created a short demo file and I get the same error on SCORM Cloud using IE11.  This appears to be an IE11 only issue - works fine in Chrome and Firefox.

No, it won't - at least not in this case.
I didn't notice it first time, but there's no closing
parenthesis after
the database name, which causes a parse error. Even when you
correct
that, the problem that Mick spotted causes another parse
error. Both
parse errors prevent anything appearing onscreen if
display_errors is off.
There are at least three mistakes in that script. The one I
spotted, the
one that Mick spotted, and the closing parenthesis that I've
just
noticed. The following might work:
