Out of 8 movies I have purchased, one will not play. It locks up iTunes if you try and advance or back up the play.

For months now I've had an issue with the movie Zero Dark Thirty. If I pause the movie or try and advance the play to back uo the play I get the beach ball and iTunes stops responding. I have to force quit iTunes. To allow this I can't start the movie in full screen mode since when iTunes stops responding, there is no way to force quit the movie. I have to power down and then back up.
Currently I'm running PS X 10.10.4 build 14E11f as an Apple OS X beta tester but the problem started with 10.10.3
I always run the latest build of OS X and iTunes.
To trouble shoot I open the movie in reduced scree size so I can access the DOCK and force quit iTunes
As soon as I get the beach ball, Activity Monitor show iTune not responding.

    Either redownload them directly to the iPod by:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    or sync them to your iPod via iTunes

    If you are having difficulties with playing certain tracks purchased from the iTunes Store in iTunes, I would suggest deleting those songs and then downloading them again. See this article -

    Some of my songs that I have purchased from iTunes will not play on my iPhone but will play on my MacBook Pro and iPad - what can I do to fix this.  This problem has been happening for around a week now.  At first it was 1-2 songs but now in a playlist of around 80 songs approximately 1/4 of the songs will not play.  When the song comes up next in the playlist it will not only skip that song but will also skip past 1-2 other songs.

    Does this happen with any other purchased content? Download some of the free on iTunes store songs.
    Deauthorize the computer and play/authorize the song in iTunes again.

    I had an album purchased on my iPhone5 that appeared in my iTunes library on my computer (Windows), but it would not play, didn't list the songs either.
    I finally found a place in the Edit menu to update my settings:
    Edit
    Preferences
    Store
    automatic downloads
    check music, apps, books
    Then I resynced my iPhone and the album showed up.  We also have an iPhone 4s and I was able to finally sync the album to that phone too.
    This is all in iTunes 11   Hope this helps!

    I bought itunes match over a year ago and didn't really like it so I removed it from my phone/itunes library altogether but I still have like 12 songs that are stuck on the phone and will not play because my itunes match has now expired, they can't be removed either apparently. I've tried all the regular ways so please somebody come up with something original way to get rid of them. They have no cover art and are really starting to bother me.

    Make sure you don't have updates yet for oldify etc  if not , Do reset. On whole phone. Updates will come for oldify.

  • I am having ongoing connection problems with the Clash of Clans app which means that I lose battles, resources or boost times. This results in a loss of gems which I have purchased but will not be refunded as they will not accept responsibility.

    Whilst playing Clash of Clans I will continually lose the internet connection. This means that I lose battles, resources, gold etc and lose boost times. I have informed Supercell who blame my internet connection even though the iPhone, laptop and TV all work fine so it is obviously a technical problem with their game and probably something to do with their last updates.
    As I have purchased gems I feel that I should be compensated for my loss but they will not accept responsibility nor investigate the technical issue. The loss of connection occurs constantly with the game often freezing during replays or searching for battles. This is obviously not a connection issue.
    What suggestions do you have to resolve this situation?

    Thanks for the reply. I asked because I also wanted to see if others had encountered the same problem.
    I have no problems with my internet connection as I run my TV, laptop and iPhone off the same connection with no problems. I believe that since the recent updates to the game this has caused the problem. The game often freezes, cancels out or returns me to the main game screen during battles or replays.
    What I want to know is how do I get the game designers or owners to acknowledge my problem as at this time they keep telling me it is my internet that is a problem and not their game. How do they know this when they refuse to investigate. What can I do and who do I go to for support if they won't accept responsibility?
    I am very grateful to you for replying but concerned that if this can happen to me then how many other gamers are losing out and paying for something that they are not going to receive.

    I have had an Ipod since second generation around 2004. It lasted me until about two weeks ago and i recently bought a new fifth generation. When 7.0 came out my older ipod would not play my purchased music and suddenly started to give me errors(unhappy ipod, and folder). I took it into the genius bar and i was told that the hard drive had died. I think that is a load of hogwash. I was able to "revive" it to only have it die again. The new Ipod has the same problem with the purchased music. I have tried the 5 R's, I have reloaded my library, everything. I thought that possibly if the files were on a shared network it messed it up, but i have unshared everything. Nothing seems to work but reloading the purchased music from a cd that has been burned. I dont want to take the time to do that for over 350 songs. Are there any suggestions from a real Apple tech? And will this be SOLVED?

    seems like Apple wants us to illegaly obtain the songs from now on. You know the story about starving musician, poor janitor at studio, well it is not important now.
    I am done with being cool, now i want something that will actually work. lets see how long will it take for iTunes update to come accros, and will anyone in Apple say we are sorry guys, we screwed up. hmmm, maybe refund for all the songs you purchased would be fair, you know guys we sold you and told you it will work on your coputer, but look surprise they dont. no, not even crappy explanation, just new update.
