If you launch Script Editor and open the Help menu, you will see the APpleScript Help and a Language Guide:
To see, which commands an application understands, open the File menu in Script editor and select Open Dictionary. In the list locate "Photos".
You will see examples how o script Photos.

Are you aware of that you can still use Pages 09 on Mavericks? You don't have to go thru the grieves of using the crippled Pages 5. Pages 09 should bi in Applications/iWork 09 folder.

With just ONE inatentive sweep of my finger one page of my note was disappeared! Is there any way it can be recovered without using the help of iCloud backup?

2. I havn't connect the power code to my iPad yet, the backup copy in the iClout was before the accident as I checked in iPad. Is there any way that I could open my notes in iCloud backup so that I can copy the missing page and move back to my iPad and iPhone?

Sorry, no. The only way to restore this note is to restore from a backup that contains it.

LR5 Batch rename all photos to CAPTURE DATE+CAPTURE TIME+ORIGINAL FILENAME

Hello there,
Does anyone know of a way to get LR5 to batch rename all it’s photos to CAPTURE DATE+CAPTURE TIME+ORIGINAL FILENAME?
I know the data is in there somewhere but my DATE+ORIGINAL FILENAME import rename preset has named all our photos with the date photos were imported not created (eeek!)

Highlighted Photo - Does Not Display

HELP! (Aperture 2.0.1)
This just started happening... When I'm working in the Aperture library (within any project), After about five or so minutes of use the viewer just stops displaying the currently selected photo. I can click on any photo, but the viewer does not change to display the selected image. I already went through the basic troubleshooting steps i.e. rebuild library, checked the consistency, etc... Any one else have any ideas?????

I think I might have found out the issue. I wanted to pass this along just in case anyone else notices this same thing happening to them.
After a long talk with Apple support and truthfully not getting anywhere, well... somewhat somewhere... (Apple guy you did rock in my book!) I tried to do things one step at a time. What I ended up noticing was that the issue seemed to immediately start happening when I went into an "album" that I created during my use of Aperture 1.5...
So I just deleted all the albums that I created (which was a bummer, but at least easier to fix than blowing away my entire library like the support gentleman led me to believe was the only solution)
After this everything seemed to go back to normal.
I will keep you posted if anything changes. And I'm always willing to be proven wrong if that's the case...

Hi Becky,
I think the issue here is not really related to Oracle XE but rather a conversion issue. Currently you have your images stored in OLE objects. When you view the image the OLE container installed on your machine is used to display the image.
When displaying images on a webpage in a browser there are different rules to follow. Usually you store the image (without the reference to the OLE container) directly in binary format in the database (i.e. a BLOB column). For displaying the image you send the proper mime-type together with the binary representation to the browser.
The browser determines by the mime type which (external) helper application is used to display the content, i.e. MS Word, MS Excel or using built-in mechanisms like the internal gif or jpeg viewer.
Thus you will need to convert the images to a standard image format (i.e. gif or jpeg) and upload them manually again.

I think this is your best bet. You might get more help in one of the MS Access forums on how to convert the OLE object to BLOBs for rendering the image in a webpage.

Firefox allows me to view the whole album pictures in my facebook account but when i click on individual image, it navigates to the enlarge image page, picture did not display. Please assist what I can do.

Windows update installed 8 updates to my computer and now several websites are not displaying images or text correctly. Some forum looks like they were loaded in an extreme basic mode, another forum main page looks fine but sub forums are loaded in in the same basic looking mode, another forum only displayed 1 user avatar out of hundreds.
Chat/IRC clients wont load.
Everything works when I used IE.
I tried to follow the help thingies but was led to a dead link.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

After importing images and doing some further organization of my old library, I want to give the names a more descriptive name. Is this possible after I have already imported the images?

You can change the Version Name (what you see in Aperture) at any time, either manually or with the Batch Change function. Changing the name of the actual file is more tricky and only possible with referenced Masters.

Firefox does not display websites correctly. Images are missing or out of position.

Too much white space. How do I downgrade back to 3.6.3? I have another computer running that version that displays everything correctly. Text is also placed incorrectly. Even this Mozilla page has no images. Only white space with a fuzzy 'mozilla' in the upper left-hand corner.

The Fonts & Colours option worked wonderfully for me and now my pages are displaying the colour and images I expected to see. So very simple in the end. Is it related to the current upgrad? At least I will not have to trouble with attempting to revert to an earlier version.

After upgrading to Firefox 3.6.11, the browser does not see my previous browsing history, and does not save new history. places.sqlite is still in place. Is there a way to fix this without erasing previous history?

Bookmarks are still being updated and saved. Recently closed tabs, Recently closed windows are being recorded as they should. I have a single .json file on my profile directory, search.json. I don't know if there should be another one for the browsing history. It looks like some index file for the history database was lost or corrupted, or re-created as an empty file. places.sqlite-journal has zero bytes; places.sqlite-stmtjrnl has 37 kbytes, date 2008-07-15.

I kept trying to solve this problem, and after a few unsuccessful attempts, the only thing which worked was uninstalling Firefox (keeping all my customizations) and then reinstalling Firefox 3.6.10 (which is apparently no longer available at mozilla.org, but which I could easily find at filehippo.com). The unsuccessful attempts I made were: (1) Install Firefox 4 beta; (2) uninstall Firefox 4 beta, Firefox 3.6.11 (in both uninstalls, keeping my customizations), and reinstall Firefox 3.6.11.
So right now I am stuck at Firefox 3.6.10, or I will loose access to my browsing history. If anyone at Mozilla.org is reading this, I would suggest taking a look at this issue to see if it can be reproduced and fixed. I am running Windows XP (fully updated), Brazilian Portuguese version.
