Problem in XI 30 with End-to-End Monitoring
Hi people,
I'm acceding to the End-to-End Monitoring in the Runtime Workbench.
After I introduce all the data for monitoring messages and click
Display.
It shows the error:

The version of my JVM is: build 1.5.0_08, but also I have test in
another computer with version 1.4.2_12 of the JVM. Additionally, the
version of JAVA Web Start is 1.0.1_02.
What could be happening?
Is a problem with my clients??? Is a problem with .jar????
Kind regards,
Himadri,
In the exchange profile the port and host name are correct.
Venkat,
Yes, it shows the log-in pop up and I have access to the next window (it's divided in two parts, to the left I select the values; and to the right with the client java). But before acceding this window, it shows the error that I comment and the right part shows "JNET Aborted...".
If I press Start Selection, the java client try to load and shows the same error.

Every time I sync my iPhone with iPhoto I end up getting duplicate photos on my iPhone. The other problem is that I can not delete the dups on my iPhone. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
The User Manual for iOS5 states ...
You can create, rename, and delete albums on iPhone to help you organize your photos and videos.
Create a album: When viewing albums, tap Edit, then tap Add. Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done. Note: Albums created on iPhone aren’t synced back to your computer.
Rename an album Tap Edit, then select an album.
Rearrange albums Tap Edit, then drag up or down.
Delete an album Tap Edit, then tap the delete sign.
Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.
Now whether I create a seperate folder within iPhone Photos to store my favourite photos in, or just copy them all into the iPhone Photos folder without being encased within another folder, or create a folder inside the iPod Photo Cache folder the result is the same ...
I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
I am going around in ever decreasing circles here and getting nowhere fast!! -
My FaceTime doesn't work... I would call a person, they would accept, and then I would be stuck in a never ending "connecting".. And this problem has been according with not just my ipad, but with other people's iDevices that I know.
-My wifi connection is running strong
-All the devices run the same version of iOSTry this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

Problem with End to End JHeadstart Tutorial ( Error: No XMLProvider found )
Good day,
When executing the step-by-step tutorial as listed at:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/consulting/9iServices/jheadstart.html
, I am following the "End to End JHeadstart Tutorial" ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/muench/jhstutorial/index.html ):
I am getting an error "Error: No XMLProvider found" for C:\MyDemo\ViewController\public_html\WEB-INF\page\Employees5Table.uix at step 1d when I try to run the application at point 1d of the tutorial.
The particular file Employees5Table.uix has been generated in step 1c by doing a Run JHeadstart Application Generator for the ' Application Structure File' .
Can anybody provide me more information?
Regards,
MikeProblem solved by using release 1!
I was using JDeveloper 10.1.2.1.0.1913 (JDeveloper 10.1.2 release 2, build 1913) instead of system10.1.2.0.0.1811 (JDeveloper 10.1.2 release 1, build 1811).
When I did it againg with the release 1 version, build 1811 the problem did not occure. The JHeadstart version was the same.
Looks like a bug to me in in release 2. -
Access to a website with a URL ending on .exe does not work
I need to access a website with a URL ending on .exe - Internet Explorer does not have any issues but with Firefox I only get the "file download" dialog box. Is there a setting where I can prevent this behaviour?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Problem getting parameter values at the service end point
I am having problem getting parameter values at the service end point. I created service end point and this method is having 35 parameters and then i created test client file using Sun One Studio 5. but when i run this test client and make a call to service it sends wrong value to first three parameters to the service end point. I tried all the way round but it gave me same sort of problem. I change the order of parameters change the names of parameters but it didnt work. And then i started chopping of parameter from the left side. And my problem is solved when my parameter list reached to 12 from 35. So is it a bug or some problem with my configuration or some thing else.
I am using sun one studio 5 with sun one app 7. My service end point does very simple thing. It only takes out put of the parameter to the server log file. And my wsdl file seems all right. There is no conflict with the count and data type of the parameter information it contains.

ThanksI just found that there is a bug with Sun One Studio 5. It creates faulty JSP file to test the client for the web services. With above problem I tested my web services using different developing environment such as Jdeveloper 10g. I created client stub using wsdl file generated by sun one studio. And made call to my web service and all the parameter reached perfectly at service end point. And then I used stub class created by sun one studio for the client and made the same call. And it also went well. So the problem is with the test application (JSP File) sun one creates for my web service.
This is the majore problem i faced during the development. But still there is many problem along with this which is not seriouse enough but requires attension. I would like sun developers to make sun one studio IDE simpler and handy . -
Why is it that when I call my MIL with FaceTime I end up calling another person?
When I call my mother in law with FaceTime, I end up calling a total stranger. I use her number from my contacts and it is the right number, it works just fine if I make a regular phone call. Today, I called her and talked to her for some time and after a while we decided to switch to FaceTime. While on the phone with her, I pushed the FaceTime button on my screen, the call ended, FaceTime started and instead of my MIL it was a complete stranger that answered the call. What can I do to fix this problem?
Check to see if you have an old phone number associated with this person in your address book. When you call someone on Facetime it calls ALL numbers/emails associated with that persons contact sheet! This was my problem, this stranger has my husband's old phone number!

Internal error int reply to ClientHello on ACE20 module with end-to-end SSL
Hello, world!
We have weird behaviour of our Cisco ACE20 module configured for end-to-end SSL (initiation+termination) - the module from time to time replies with SSLv3/TLSv1 alert "Fatal: internal error" message to the client right after client have sent 'ClientHello' SSL message. So sometimes SSL connection works and sometimes will be immediately closed due to this fatal error. The behaviour is very similar to the one described below:
CSCtc52085—After a client sends a ClientHello message, the SSL hand shake may fail with a fatal alert internal error sent by the ACE. This behavior is intermittent and may occur under the following conditions:
1. An SSL service is configured with the session-cache timeout command (session reuse).
2. SSL connections are aborted by the client after the client sends a ClientHello message to the service in condition 1 and before an internal resource state is changed. This behavior puts the internal resource in an improper state. This error is very timing sensitive.
3. The next connection that uses the internal resource in the improper state fails with a fatal alert internal error. That connection does not have to go to the service in condition 1 to experience this error because the internal resource is shared by all the SSL services.
Workaround: None.
But we have software version A2(3.1) and this bug must have been resolved in this release (at least it's listed in resolved caveats section of release notes).
Software
loader: Version 12.2[123]
system: Version A2(3.1) [build 3.0(0)A2(3.1)]
system image file: [LCP] disk0:c6ace-t1k9-mz.A2_3_1.bin
Again, we don't have session-cache timeout configured on the ACE.
On the ACE we have following stats:

The "Internal error" counter increases with failed connections.
Printscreen from wireshark attached.
Maybe someone has the problem like ours? I have no idea how to troubleshoot these "internal errors"... :-(
Thanks for your replies. Thanks for your reply.
The problem is not server-related, I have exactly the same situation if I do SSL termination only, with unencrypted connection between ACE and backend servers (another servers, with blank apache installed and listening on 443 port for non-SSL traffic) - generally speaking, it works, but often with these "internal errors" - not suitable for production.

Playing Quicktime with Multiple Start End Points
Hello
I posted a message a few days which I received help on
regarding starting and ending a Quicktime movie from various points
in the movie. Now I have a new problem which I cannot fix at all..
Here is the problem:
I have a Quicktime movie on stage and 10 various buttons that
contain a generic script which allows input of start and end points
for each button to trigger the movie. Initially just doing this
with one button is successful.
However, multiple buttons all with the same generic code make
the movie freeze up completely. My guess is that they are all
fighting each other for control. Maybe I need something in the code
which allows the button that is being used to play the movie to
keep control.
Here is the code I use for each button, the movie is on frame
15.
property pQT,pStart,pEnd,pFrame, pVolume
on beginSprite me
sprite(me.spriteNum).color=rgb (255,255,255)
cursor 0
if integer(pQT).ilk=#integer then pQT=integer(pQT)
end
on mouseUp me
sound(3).volume=sprite(15).volume
sprite(15).volume=pVolume
sprite(pQT).movieTime=pStart
sprite(pQT).movieRate=1
cursor 0
end
on mouseEnter me
sprite(me.spriteNum).color=rgb (173,24,41)
sprite(me.spriteNum).cursor=280
end
on mouseLeave me
sprite(me.spriteNum).color=rgb(255,255,255)
sprite(me.spriteNum).cursor=0
end
on mouseDown me
sprite(me.spriteNum).cursor=290
end
on enterFrame me
if sprite(pQT).movieTime>=pEnd then
sprite(pQT).movieRate=0
end if
end
on getPropertyDescriptionList me
if not the currentSpriteNum then exit

end getPropertyDescriptionList
Any help is much appreciated. (not a lingo expert)
AndyMany thanks Mike
Works fantastically.
I just thought I would post the finished code - well, tweaked
ever so slightly from Mike's orginal for anybody wanting a nice
little behaviour for controlling a Quicktime movie.

I am new to LabView, so please bear with me...
I tried to communicate with an RS485/2-wire device through COM1. I used Instrument I/O Assistant (and Advanced/Basic Serial Write and Read examples) to write command (HEX string) to COM1,
tried writing HEX strings with and withour end bye (is 0D0A the correct end signal for HEX string?). Both didn't get device's responce. Looks like the device didn't recognize the command.
I monitored the transmitted signals on the bus, they were not differential as supposed to be.....
What is the possible reason to cause this? Please help...
The hardware connection is OK, because I am able to communicate with the device through COM1 (with the same command) using different software application. How are you sending the hex? Is your string control set for hex display or normal? If it's set for normal, then if you send something like 'AD', then you aer sending the ASCII characters 'A' and 'D' and that's not the same thing. I don't believe the I/O assistant can send hex but you can modify the basic serial write and read to do so. Just right click on the string control and select 'Hex Display'. You can also enter the data in a numeric control (set for dex display) and use a type cast or an array of U8's and use the Byte Array to String function. Hex data usually doesn't use any kind of termination characters such as CR/LF.
If communication is working with another app, then as you said, the hardware is okay and it's not a problem with differential signaling. -

<b>MK</b>Hi,
Reinstall your client side java webstart. if you still face the same problem Search for the files starting with frog.jar and rename it. Before renaming the files you have to stop your j2ee engine. I hope this will resolve the issue.

IOS7 op syst induces me to motion sickness, vertigo, nauseas, and eye hurting. I took all indicated steps as a solution and nothing happened. I wonder if APPLE is taking this HUGE issue seriously? People with Epilepsia has ended in the hospital!!
Today I went to the APPLE STORE in the Aventura Mall, Miami FL and the Staff pretended not to have heard anything about the subject, this could imply an I don't care attitude or lack of knowledge of what is all over the news and internet on this major issue.
The solution given about going to settings, general, accesibility, reduce motion ON does not solve the serious problem. What it most worry me is that I am wondering if I keep on using the IOS7 op system this issue of the motion sickness, dizziness, nauseas, etc coul cause brain damage?I don't think Apple would actually do anything about it. They have a 30 day return policy and if customers aren't happy with the product they can return it for a full refund. In fact, I am pretty sure when you select agree to the "Terms and Conditions" of using the phone - it covers the fact
"7.4 APPLE DOES NOT WARRANT AGAINST INTERFERENCE WITH YOUR ENJOYMENT OF THE iOS
SOFTWARE AND SERVICES, THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN, OR SERVICES PERFORMED OR
PROVIDED BY, THE iOS SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT THE OPERATION OF
THE iOS SOFTWARE AND SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY
SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO BE MADE AVAILABLE, THAT DEFECTS IN THE iOS SOFTWARE OR
SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE iOS SOFTWARE WILL BE COMPATIBLE OR WORK
WITH ANY THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE, APPLICATIONS OR THIRD PARTY SERVICES. INSTALLATION
OF THIS iOS SOFTWARE MAY AFFECT THE USABILITY OF THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE, APPLICATIONS
OR THIRD PARTY SERVICES."
Full terms and conditions - http://www.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/iOS7.pdf
People have to understand that Apple is a business and it is up to them whether they think it's a big enough problem to put in a patch to remove the effects.
Simple solution is if you feel that you don't agree to their way of business and unable to use the iPhone to your fullest comfort, either return the product for a full refund or sign a petition... -
My iphone 4S only start whit cable plug in and then show battery very low (with red line end) then try to turn on but show searching in operator name command and not connecting and no work properly and when I plug out it turn off!!! what should I do?
I'm afraid you'll have to get the phone serviced, dropping the phone must have damaged additional parts inside the phone.
But Apple will not service the phone anymore, opening the phone and replacing the battery should only be done by authorized personal, not by users.
You'll have to look for a 3rd party repair shop and see if they can fix this, sorry. -

Your subject line refers to a .lnk file extension and the body of your post refers to a .INK file extension. Which is it? If it is .lnk then it is a link to a file, not a file. In Windows a file name ending with .lnk is a shortcut link to the file. You likely copied over the shortcut rather than the file itself. Therefor you can't open it because it is not there on your Mac.

End-to-end layer-2 link with CPE administration
Dears
I am working on a scenario to monitor a CPE in a layer-2 setup. The CPE is connected with the local PE across a last mile with a single vlan from the provider. The customer has purchased layer-2 end-to-end connection from local CPE to remote CPE. Within MPLS core, I have configured x-connect between local PE and remote PE to setup layer-2 link. Within the CPEs, I am bridging both the interfaces of the the router to handover end-to-end layer-2 link to customer. I also need to manage and monitor the CPE. What I am thinking of doing is that I have two PE routers within the local POP. On primary PE router, i will extend lastmile vlan from the switch and configure x-connect to remote PE. On the backup PE router, i will extend the same lastmile vlan from the switch and configure IP address on the PE vrf enabled interface to be imported in management network. On the CPE, the interface with lastmile connection is concurrently configured with bridge and IP configuration.
I need to know if is this a standard setup of management for this type of solution and what could be the possible technical limitations/complications within this overall solution keeping in mind that it is a layer-2 end-to-end connection and what impact it can have on my core network.
RegardsHi All,
Can someone help me in this.
