Problema al crear .exe en labview 10

Mi inconveniente surge apenas pongo en la opción tools Build Application (EXE) from vi me tira el siguiente error:
Error 7 occurred at Open VI Reference in AB_UI_Load_Page.vi->AB_UI_FRAMEWORK.vi->AB_Create_Build_Application.vi->EBUIP_Global_OnCommand.vi->EBUIP_Global_OnCommand.vi.ProxyCaller

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361J-01/lvhowto/building_a_stand_alone_app/

    Hey Greycat.
    That is a great question!  So as you noticed there is no equivalent to System Exec in LabVIEW PDA, so you cannot launch an application that way.  I would think that there would be a DLL that could be called on the PDA that will allow you to launch applications.  However, after several Google searches I was not able to come up with any specific code or DLLs.  Once you found that DLL hoewever, you shouldn't have problems launch an EXE.  I am assuming that these are not other LabVIEW PDA built EXEs, which is a shame since you might be able to open a VI reference to that VI.

    I have a problem with ( AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found ) The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be locate in the dynamic link library SWLite3.dll.

    With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
    Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
    Reboot and see if all is well
    In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
    1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
    3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
    4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
    5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
    Good Luck

    Hello, everyone. Using VC++, I have gotten the handle of a *.exe(built by Labview), but I cannot get the button handle. I want to get the button handle and post the message to control the button. How can I do that? When I use the SPY++, the *.exe(built by Labview) have not any child windows which is very different from the *.exe(built by VC++). In SPY++, what is the LVDChild class? How can I send the message to control the button on *.exe(built by Labview)???

    Checkout the LabVIEW ActiveX server interface in the User Manual in Chapter 20, Windows Connectivity and the VI Server Reference in Chapter 17, Programmatically Controlling VIs.
    There is a sample for Visual Basic under examples/comm/VBtoLV.frm, which should be quite simple to translate to Visual C as long as you can figure out the basics of ActiveX programming in VC (I have never done anything with ActiveX in VC). For those basics I would recommend some text book or MSDN.

  • Problem with explorer.exe when LR starts

    When starting LR (V1.0) the task manager reports that explorer.exe is eating up about 50% of my CPU. Closing LR does not have an effect. Only a re-start clears it up. This is now the second time I have installed LR as there was a conflict the first time I upgraded from the beta 4 version. I have searched through many of the same folders that my LR library uses with Bridge and Windows explorer and there was no problem with explorer.exe. Only upon starting LR does the problem occur. Any advice much appreciated. Thank you!

  • Problem with PadExe.exe message occurs at the boot-up

    On booting up, which takes anything up to 30 minutes and more, I receive a message that there is a problem with PadExe.exe
    It seems that padhook.dll is the problem. Putting PadExe or PadExe.exe into the search facility on the Toshiba site reveals no answer.
    Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem? The slow boot up I can live with (just don't switch off!)
    Thanks for any help.

    This could be an part of the Toshiba Touch and Launch software.
    Toshiba Touch and Launch offers easy movement and freedom of programs navigation with TouchPad
    I see only one way to solve such error messages. Try to remove this software from the OS and after clean removing and booting you should install it again.

  • Problem with searchsettings.exe (Mozilla Malware)?

    For several days I have had a screen that comes up on boot-up that says basically there is a problem with SearchSettings.exe and it will not start. I did some research and see that it is part of an iObit toolbar system and is basically malware. I found a fix online, but it didn't work so I had to restore. I think my registry cleaner might have remove part of it but I can't find out how to get rid of this annoyance.

    Hello,
    Here is a guide on how to remove searchsettings.exe:
    http://www.spigot.com/remove-search-settings.html
    It was part of a toolbar and probably the registry cleaner deleted the uninstall files for the toolbar.

    IMO, seeing that you are using WinXP, you might be better off with the older Flash 10.3.183.90 version. Flash 11.0 and later have "improvements" that don't work on WinXP - only Vista and later. Adobe did continue to support and provide security updates for Flash 10.3 until a few months before WinXP went EOL back in April of this year.

    I keep this manual to create
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3303/en
    I  do the application but then it deas't recognize the card connected to the computer. (without the executable works perfectly from labview)
    I get 3 warnings when i create the. EXE, and LabVIEW duplicates some basics vi's (matrix operations), and I created 3 folders where I generate the executable.
    Any ideas?
    thanks

  • Problems in Operator Interface for LabVIEW

    Hi Ray,
    I am using LabVIEW 7.0 and TestStand 2.0 version. I am using the default operator interface for labVIEW provided in the TestStand and i am using custom step types in my sequence file.
    This sequence calls a VI, which transmits strings that i specify from the serial port to the NI-7831 RIO Fpga Card for differnt baud rates. The same sequence is working fine when called from Sequence Editor but it is not working when it is called from Operator Interface for LAbVIEW. It justs either fails the test or skips them. Please tell me if there is any solution for it. I have attached the sequence file and the vi that i am calling from my sequence file.

    Hi,
    You forgot to attach your sequencefile and VI, but never mind.
    I think the problem maybe that because you are using the default Operator Interface.
    If it still the one in the NI folder, then you will have to re build the testexec.exe application using your LabVIEW 7.0 Application Builder. The default exe file has been built using LabVIEW 5.1.1
    Before you start, copy the LV folder from OperatorInterfaces\NI\ to OperatorInterfaces\User.
    Load the testexec.bld file in your Application Builder and rebuild testexec.exe.
    Launch your new testexec.exe from the User\lV folder and retry your test sequencefile.
    Hopefully that should cure your problem.

  • Webserver Problems when using exe file

    Hey guys I could use some help with a problem I am having.

    Hey dwhamm,
    If the computer that you are trying to use as the server and deploy the executable on does not have the LabVIEW runtime engine that matches the development system, the remote front panel will not operate properly.  Below please find a link on how to build an installer that you should make to include the proper runtime engine:
    http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvhowto/build_installer/
    There is a note at the bottom of the original tutorial that you referenced on what to be sure to include in the installer.
    Also, were you able to try changing the URL from http://TargetComputerName/VIname.html to http://TargetComputerIPAddress/VIname.html?
    Do you have any firewalls on the computer that is being used as the web server?

  • Machine.config entry problems with ODAC1110510beta.exe

    The ODAC1110510beta.exe adds entries under the <membership>, <profile>, and <roleManager> config sections in machine.config.
    The problem is that the entries are added like this: (edited to save space)
    <membership defaultProvider="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider" userIsOnlineTimeWindow="15" hashAlgorithmType="">
    <providers>
    <add name="OracleMembershipProvider" type="Oracle.Web.Security.OracleMembershipProvider... />
    <clear />
    <add name="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider" type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider... />
    </providers>
    </membership>
    The OracleMembershipProvider was added in front of the AspNetSqlMembershipProvider. Then a <clear/> was added afterward -- removing the OracleMembeshipProvider that was just added. Obviously, that is not very useful. The same thing occurs in the Profile and RoleManager config section.
    Please modify the install to added the Oracle provider entries at the end of the prooviders list.

    Hello faustina,
    According to the link below, this error may occur if there is a process that is attempting to log data to a database that does not exist or that Citadel cannot access. The root cause of this can be anything from a firewall, a corrupt process in the Distributed System Manager, or possibly the result of deleting different databases through Windows Explorer rather than using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) (which doesn't seem to apply here). I've also included a customer forum below regarding this same error in which stopping all processes except for "System" and restarting the computer has solved this issue. Most likely, if you are no longer experiencing this issue and all that has changed was the installation of your software, it may have been corruption within the DSM.

  • Communication problem with FP-2000 and Labview 7.1

    I am using the FP-2000, DO-403 and TC-120 modules with Labview 7.1, being run on a host computer via an ethernet connection.  The setup has operated flawlessly for ~2 years; recently, I have noticed that while a VI is running on my PC, connection to the FP module ceases.  There is no pop-up "connection error" in my VI, and the all the power and status LEDs on the FP modules are normal.  I can still interact with the VI on the front panel while it is running, but nothing is passed to the FP module.  I have tried communicating with MAX when this occurs and receive a "no connection" message.  Is there a simple solution here, such as rebooting the FP module?  Or is it time to invest in new hardware?
    Justin

    I am having a very similar problem with my cFP-1804 and Labview 7.0.  I have no problem initiating communication over ethernet, and the vi will run perfectly for hours or even days.  Inevitably, however, at some point there is no longer communication with the cFP-1804.  Data is no longer being passed either to or from the cFP-1804, and MAX will show that the device is not connected.  I also will not see any pop-up error message that says the connection has been lost, either from Windows or from Labview.  The vi will just continue to run as if nothing has happened.  Turning the power to the cFP-1804 off and then on will always resolve this problem.  Since I am using the cFP-1804 primarily for data logging, however, this behavior is particularly problematic as the system will record nothing but zeroes until I discover that the communication has been severed and perform the manual power cycling.
    I have been unable thus far to determine the cause of this problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Derrick

  • Why is Building an exe in LabVIEW 8.6.1 so slow?

    I have a fairly large application (about 2000 VIs) that I am trying to convert from LV7.1.1 to LV8.6.1 and it is a very challenging process!
    I was able to load all of the VIs into LabVIEW 8.6.1 and correct all of the mislinked VIs (such as VI names that changed in the Report Generation toolkit and others), but when I try to create an exe it takes about 1 second per VI to build.  Why does it take so long?
    Also, when the exe is finished compiling, on the 2 computers I've tried it on, the exe doesn't load (it gives a windows crash!).  I tried creating the exe in a "clean" virtual environment and that worked which means I probably have version conflicts with the other 2 "real" computers (I have 4 versions of LabVIEW installed on the real computers).  I've also tried loading it into LabVIEW 8.5.1 and the creation of the exe is a lot faster but the exe still does not work.
    This is getting really confusing and frustrating!
    Thanks,
    Bruce

    It takes about 10 minutes to compile in LV851 and about 20 minutes to compile in LV861f1.  Both take about 5 minutes when the progress bar gets to the last VI.
    I was able to get my code to
    compile to an exe that is executable by uninstalling IMAQ 4.1 (Vision
    Acquisition Software 8.6) and installing IMAQ 3.8 (VAS 8.5). I avoid
    IMAQ 4.0 because the structure of the .iid (for instance img0.iid)
    files is messed up (see NI forum iid file structure in IMAQ 4.0 changed). This bug is fixed in IMAQ 4.1 but apparently there are other new bugs that were introduced.
    I'll try my luck with IMAQ 4.2 when it comes out, but until then I have work to do.
    Days
    lost, totally frustrating. Not a good LabVIEW/NI experience. And I'm
    stuck using old software versions to get things to work.
    Bruce
    P.S. I've been cross posting to lavag forums as well (exe built with LV crashes) about similar issues regarding my upgrading experience.
