Reduce White Space below Site Title and Above Site Content

On a SharePoint Online site wiki home page, I'm in need of a Script Editor snippet that will reduce the amount of white space below the site title and the start of the body/content of the site. (see attached image). Thanks!

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to reduce white space in the site title below.

Insert .oam files that scale without leaving white space below them inside a web page

Hi All,
Does anyone have a way to get .oam files to scale inside a web page without leaving all the white space below them when they are scaled in a fluid web page design?
I've done this in other web pages without using .oam files and inserting the whole html file and stage, but I need this to work with multiple areas inside a web page for which .oam files seem to be the only solution.

Thanks for your reply, the blog tutorial you're referencing however uses the HTML files and doesn't use .oam files, which is my problem, as I need to insert more than one edge element on the page.
Alternatively if there is a way to insert two "stage" HTML edge elements into a page using the method referenced above, this would be a suitable solution also. I've tried inserting more than one HTML file / stage where they are of different stage sizes and had no luck creating a second "stage_02" etc to acheive this so far.

How do I remove the white space from the bottom and side of my document?

How do I remove the white space from the bottom and side of my document? (I'm not talking about printing, just viewing it on the screen.) There are about 6 inches of white space at the bottom and at the right hand side. I don't like this. On a blank new spreadsheet it's triple that amount of white space.

The infinite canvas convention doesn't make a lot of sense for Numbers. When I'm viewing a spreadsheet and mistakenly scroll into white, empty space I think, "this is ridiculous - all of my content is fits on one screen. there's nothing over there."
A (relatively) infinite canvas is logical for Microsft Excel because it's one big table. There are 256(?) columns by default and hundreds of rows on a sheet - there are cells outside what a user is looking at to see. However, when viewing a Numbers spreadsheet with a single 10 column 10 row table that fits on the screen, there's nothing else on it to scroll to.
Numbers should distinguish between viewing a spreadsheet and editing one. When I'm just viewing, when there's no content outside the window it shouldn't scroll there. This window behavior is beyond annoying for Numbers on my iPad and iPhone.
(Adding user-defined canvas size setting to my view mode / edit mode thinking would probably be the most complete solution to this now that I think about it.)
Until now the way scrolling worked in Numbers has defied logic. Actually it still does lol. That said, thank you Yellowbox for providing a clear explanation. Much appreciated.

White space below footer due to Relative Positioning?

I'm pretty new to coding. I'm learning how to do a responsive website and everything is working, EXCEPT for the huge blank space below the footer at the largest screen resolution. I know it is because of the relative positioning I used for the "samples" section. I know this question has been asked before. I've tried the suggestions, but cannot seem to get it to work. I cannot figure out a way to accomplish having the "samples" section at the spot I want without using relative positioning. I've tried "float" to no avail.
Everything is working, except for the huge space below the footer at the largest screen size for my responsive page.
Instead of pasting my .html and 3 .css files here, here is my site of which you can right click and "view page source" to get all the code. Don't want to make my question look too long!

Get rid of the white space at the top and bottom of the report when Printing as PDF document

Hello All,
I have a wider tablix report which is 29 inches wide. I have given the paper size as custom and width as 29 and height as 11 in report properties.I have deployed it and saved it as PDF document. When I print preview the report I am using the paper size as
tabloid (17 by 11) and selected the orientation as Landscape. I am getting the full report without any stripping but I am getting some extra space at the top and bottom when I print the report. Can anyone help me how to get rid of this space? . I checked the
margins for the report and it was 0in. Please help.

In Reporting Services (SSRS 2008), there are white spaces preserved in the report body by default. When the white space extends the body size beyond the width of the report, blank pages will be generated. To avoid the issue, you can set the “ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace”
property of the report to “True”.
Please try to adjust your margins (top + side) and hopefully this problem will get resolved
Body Width <= Page Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin)
Horizontal usable area:
X = Page.Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin + Column Spacing)
Vertical usable area:
Y = Page.Height - (Top Margin + Bottom Margin + Header Height + Footer Height)
Body Width <= Page Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin)
Horizontal usable area:
X = Page.Width - (Left Margin + Right Margin + Column Spacing)

but i am getting the error code 8 when i try to add the site mail box at the sub site level and the newly created site collections on the same web appln.

ITunes U Public Site Manager and adding new content

Probably just me missing something, but I am in the iTunes U Public Site Manager looking to add content to an existing collection. Since the update, I can't seem to find the "add to collection" button that used to exist. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I am the site administrator, and I want to add content to an existing collection. I have been adding content to existing collections since the site was created several years ago, but since the recent June 1 update to the Public Site Manager things have obviously changed and I cannot seem to find a way to add content. Maybe I am missing something obvious, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this.
As a work around, I created a new apple ID and added it as a "user" and then as a "contributor" to the collection I want to add content to. I then logged out and then in again as this new contributor, and I was able to add the content as before (the update). I was hoping that I would be able to log in as the administrator and upload content without having to use another login.

How do I get rid of the white space between my header and my spry navigation bar?

I have been grappling with a problem for the past 2 days and cannot seem to work my way around it. I have been working on a page in dreamweaver cs4 that seems to have whitespace between the header and my spry menu bar ONLY in Firefox. Google Chrome and Safari show it correctly. Name of bar below status bar and above the dock icons

What is the name of the grey bar at the bottom of Firefox, version 33 . It sits at bottom of Firefox screen. It is usually empty, nothing on it.. I can also x it out to delete it. It sits just above the dock icons on my Mac desktop.

Creation of dynamic site collection and sub-sites

We are having an enterprise system where organization wide operations are maintained. Recently we decided to provide collaboration features for each operation maintained in the system using SharePoint 2013, since that enterprise system did not provide
any social/collaboration features.
Assumptions/constraints -
1. Every year 2500 operations are created
2. Each operation can have documents and other content scaling upto 5 GB.
3. Only SharePoint provider hosted apps are allowed to build the solution
For seamless integration, we are creating an automation component which will a SharePoint provision site automatically when an Operation is created in the enterprise system (we will get the trigger through web services)
Proposed solution -
After going through
Software boundaries and limits for SharePoint 2013, I'm thinking of proposing this architecture -
1. A windows service will be created which will accept the trigger to create a site and take care of provisioning the entire site
2. A maximum of 700 sites will be created per site collection (based on the size calculations and keeping some buffer)
3. Once a site collection hits 700 sub-sites, a new site collection is automatically created for provisioning the new sites
4. Provision the apps and add them to site pages using powershell/CSOM
Kindly let me know if this approach is effective or any major road-blocks we need to take care of in this.

We are looking at the SharePoint 2013 limitations and trying to devise the best possible solution. We are open to create multiple content databases for multiple site collections or with single contentdatabase having multiple site collections (which doesn't
look like feasible). So it is a matter of deciding which will best suit this scenario.

Removing White Space Around Header - from CSS?

What is causing the white space around the header and
above/below the top nav bar? There's also an extra white pixel
space between each of the buttons on the top nav bar.

I've also attached the CSS stylesheet.
I thought it might be a valign tag but they are all in the
main text and are necessary to glue the 3 main sections just under
the top nav bar. I couldn't find any vspace or hspace options in
the code.
Because of the rollovers on the top blue horizontal nav bar,
I need the "class" option in each <td> tag. Otherwise, if I
put the class="navMain" option on the <tr> tag, then the
whole nav bar will show the rollover color. Or, I suppose I could
create 5 different CSS styles for each nav button ???

Preview: How get rid of white space above/below screenshots?

My objective is to be able to make a composite screenshot by opening several and arranging their images on top of each other without unnecessary white space at the bottom and top of each of the pictures.
I did not have such top and bottom white space when I used Preview with Leopard 10.5.8 on an old G5, only now with Lion on a mid-2011 iMac.

When the white space artifact appeared above and below each screenshot even before pasting into a composite, I thought it might be corruption of a preference but trashing of the 4 Preview plist files in Users/me/Library/Preferences did not fix it.
Your thoughts, please?
