Reimport and Refresh Tables (MySQL DB adapter)

Hello.
I created DB adapter to MySQL DB in JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.
Everytime I open Adapter Configuration Wizard on this DB Adapter I get warning: Reimport and Refresh Tables.
"Some changes have been detected in the relational schema since these tables were imported. Please go back to the select tables page and reimport them. The changes are major enough that they can't be easily reconciled. The changes are: Table removed: ..." even there are not any changes in schema and tables still exists.
Is it a bug or feature?
I never saw this behaviour with Oracle DB. Is it a problem with MySQL JDBC driver?

    I am trying to query MySql DB tables using DB adapter in Oracle SOA.
    inside the weblogic server console I have created a data source and test is "success" MySql
    Now inside the deployments > DBAdapter > Configuration > outbound connection pools
    I am new outbound connection, however I only get one option by default "javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory".
    which is default pointing to oracle DB.
    If someone has implemented this earlier or some blog/document demonstrates this please let me know.

    actually I tried changing the "platformClassName" to "oracle.toplink.platform.database.MySQL4Platform" in the existing connection factory.
    I am able to update the DBAdapter successfully, however when I try to run the service created in JDEV which uses this MySql DB table it gives me below error.
    I also have another doubt regarding "How can we create a new connection factory in weblogic console?"

  • Error while trying to populate a table and refreshing

    Hello,
    I have created a java class in which i have the POJO's(non BC) and generated data controls off the java class. The java class also contains a list (of user defined objects - lstPriceeventTypes) which i have dropped as a table on a jspx.
    When i create a page: The list is initially empty. Now when i try to add a row using a command tool bar button which inturn invokes a method addSomething() in that same java class; in this method - i create the user defined object and add it to the list. Now i am expecting the table to show one row after i exit the addSomething method.
    The problem: the table is not getting refreshed.
    I tried

    used a commandtoolbar button with partialSubmit="true" and the table having a partial trigger on the button (partialTriggers="::ctb1")
    a normal commandButton wouldnt require a partialTrigger.....
    Any idea if getting the bindingcontainer in this way is correct "JUMetaObjectManager.getJUMom().getBindingContext().getCurrentBindingsEntry();

         I successfully loaded more than 100,000 records of data into an infocube, but when I check the content of the infocube(without any restriction),  unexpectedly no data displayed, also after I checked the F and E table, still no data, but there is data in dimendsion tables. what happened?

    Try the following options.
    Check in the selection screen
    Go to infocube through LISTCUBE t.code
    Check the compression and roll-up statuses.
    Check the reporting status in request tab.
    Refresh the cube ( u already do it)
    Check the index status in Request tab**

  • Problem with Master and Child table

    Hi,
    Working in jdev 11.1.1.2.0. I have one strange issue. i have master and child tables, the model is working fine with the view link. but when drag drop the same into my jsff. when i query the result 1st time 2 tables are refershing properly and data is coming. but the when i trying to select another row in the 1st table my 2nd table(child table) is not refreshing.
    i put partial trigger of the 2nd table as 1st table id.
    can any one help wht is issue here.

  • Refresh table after creation of new Toplink BO

    Hi,
    i have the following Problem and i hope someone can help me. I use ADF11g/Taskflows with TopLink-mapped BOs (no ADF BC).
    Consider following Taskflow(s):
    main activity is a jsff-page (view) showing a table of BOs. From this view there are two action-outcomes defined called "edit" and "create". The edit-action calls another Taskflow constisting of one pageFragment showing the detailForm of the given BO. This Taskflow has one input and one output parameter (the BO to edit) and has two exists called "save" and "cancel". The add-Action calls a Method called "createNewBO" first and then calls the mentioned Taskflow also. Every Taskflow has ist own managed Bean in the pageFlowScope working as a Controller and DataControl for the TaskFlow and directly included views.
    The edit-action works fine. The add action also except that the table from the default activity of the first taskflow does not refresh after return from the second Taskflow. I tried to set the Refresh-Property in the PageDef to all possible values in combination with the RefreshCondition but no combination works. I can make a manual refresh or change the sorting then the new BO is shown in the table.
    Is there a possibility to call a refresh of a jsff from a taskflow or can i force the refresh on entering the jsff?
    I'm really stuck and appreciate any help ;)

    You can try this:
    - on your taskflow diagram select the page that contains the table you want to refresh, and add a Page Parameter (from #{true} to #{viewScope.refresh})
    - in pageDef for that page add one invokeAction in executables and point it to methodAction that fills the iterator you want to refresh
    - for newly created invokeAction, set Refresh to ifNeeded and Refresh condition to #{viewScope.refresh}
    This should refresh the iterator each time the page (fragment) is loaded.

    I'll add to Nicolas' answer that the MV maintenance does have access to mechsnisms other than row-by-row replication of the trigger-based type. Direct path inserts to the base table are very efficiently propagated to the MV, as are partition-based DDL operations. Also MV's come with optional query rewrite built in (you need 10g+ to query rewrite to a non-MV data set), and scheduled refresh so you can defer maintenance of the data set until later.
    MV maintenance can be less efficient though -- you may know something about the data and the way that it changes that allows you to write more efficient meintenance than the MV code.

  • Parent-Child Join on tables in Database Adapter

    Hi,
    We are doing a join on two tables(T1 and T2) in Database adapter for an Insert operation. There is no Reference Integrity between these two tables in Database, but join is done through bpel database adapter.
    Here is a scenario - when we try to insert a record(parent-child), into these two tables, If there is any data issue in any of the child record, Adapter inserts parent-record, also inserts few child-records it processed before it encountered this data issue and terminates.
    Issue here is , We want this to be transactional, it means, If any of the child record fails adapter should rollback the entire insert operation both from parent and child tables and exit with an error. Instead BPEL inserting half records into child table.
    Is there any parameter I need to set or am I missing anything? Someone please suggest.

    There are a few options I guess.
    1. Add the referential key constraint.
    2. Add custom logic in your BPEL project to compensate for any errors you encounter in your BPEL processes.

  • ALV OO and refreshing the ALV grid

    Hi,
    i have some problems with my ALV 00 program.
    On screen 1 i have to fill in a material number.
    For that material i'm getting some data and show in screen 2 in a ALV grid.
    Via BACK-button i'm getting back to screen 1 and can fill in another material number.
    But the 2nd (and 3rd, etc) time i fill a material, the ALV grid data from material 1 is shown. Even if the internal table I_ALV where the data is, is changed.
    What should i do ?
    I have initialized the customer container and the grid, but that didn't solved the problem.

    Try clearing and refreshing the alv grid data table in screen 2.
    Check with this code. this code is working fine. If we go back and change the input, it is showing the output corresponding to the second input only.

  • Download and refresh button in Dashboard

    Hi,
    I have a chart report and table report in the same section of a dashboard. How to have a common Download and Refresh button at the end for both the reports. If I use the report links in both the "reports link" of teh report I get two sets and one is in the middle of the section. If I use the one in the end, it downloads only the second report. Is it possible to do both with one refresh and download, and how can it be done.

    If the table report and the chart report are completely different, then I don't know how you would do that (except for using the dashboard refresh button and the very bottom left of the dashboard page).
    But if they are of the same columns, you can create a pivot table to mimic a regular table and check the "chart pivoted results" to have a chart of that data. Then you will have only one refresh and download for both table and chart.

  • SelectOneChoice and af:Table

    Greetings,
    i have a Object View af:Table in JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0 JSF form that includes
    3 new columns that have nothing to do with the database xor the Entity Object.
    I bind this 3 columns to a LOV each. The 2 LOVs are normal View Objects, but the 3rd column,
    is a modified View Object that takes a parameter. I add this parameter before i show this table, but my
    3rd SelectOneChoice do not show any data.
    Can you help me on this please?
