Replace between [ and ]

Question

Hi can someone give me a simple example of how to replace all characrters between '[' and ']' with one hardcoded string , eg schema name.
I know how to do it with instr but looing for something straightforward with reg exp probably

This works also for more than one pair of brackets:
select regexp_replace('aaaaaaaa[1111]bbbbbbbbbbbbb[222]ccccc[3333]cccc',
                               '\[[^]]*\]',
                               '[yourtext]')
from dual;
