Hi,
I need to develop a report to view all the Roles and Transactions assinged to a particular user along with the Authorization values. So, if provide the Username, the report should be able to give Roles, Transaction Codes and the fields and thier authorization values for that TCodes..

Try this FM once - SUSR_USERS_LIST_ALV . It provides a list with Roles, Profiles, and also a detail button to check the authorization values etc.
Also try this FM - SUSR_USER_DISPLAY_WITH_AUTHS, SUSR_USER_AUTH_FOR_OBJ_GET , SUSR_USER_DISPLAY_WITH_S_TCODE

From table AGR_USERS , you can see the roles corresponding to any user.
From table AGR_TCODES, you will get the tcodes corresponding to any role.

Well this will tell you the roles with respect to the users.
Also you can into transaction PFCG and search the roles, go to change mode for that particular role and there under authorizations see the objects clicking on change authorization objects.

How to view code of all the custom and complex folder folder in EUL?

You do not need to run all the reports.
Also i am not sure about why do you need to see the code of every thing, i assume you will not get much from it.
If there is a certain folder you are interested in then this is the way.
Any way there is no way to get the code of the complex folders since they are logical join of other folders.
to get the code of the custom folder s you can use:
select * from eul_us.eul5_objs t
WHERE t.obj_type='CUO'
AND t.obj_object_sql1 IS NOT NULL;
you should look (and concatenate) at the obj_object_sql1,obj_object_sql2.....

Summary report to show all the software components and version installed

We are using 64bit Windows 2003 and Hyperion Planning and Essbase in 2 separate servers. I am not sure whether Windows can have a summary report to show all the software components and version installed and show it is 32bit or 64bit version installed?

How to move all the standard and adhoc reports from the basic cube to multi provider?
i created this multiprovider to do the maintenence on the basic cube. for example the infocube physical partition, line item dimension and compression.
what we decided to do is move all the Standard and ad-hoc reports from the basic cube to the multiprovider. How to do it? and make a copy of the basic cube and do the maintenence on the cube. please help.

Hi Les,
This sounds good and one thing we try to always keep in mind when undertaking such activities is to always minimise the impact to the user and make the process as transparent to them as possible. So lets say you have your multiprovider and copied queries up in Prod, these queries will still pick up the data from the base cube.
Now you need to make a copy of the base cube for some changes to the cube model, I would suggest that you copy the cube and make your changes on the copied cube itself. Then 9depending on the changes done) you can load data from Original Cube to New Cube. When this is being done, make sure that you change your queries to add a restriction on 0INFORPOV by Original Cube.
After the load to the new cube is complete you can run reports restricted to each cube to verify the numbers. Then change the 0INFOPROV restriction in the queries to point to the New Cube and disengage the old cube from the multiprovider.

Try using T-Code - S-ALR_87012179.
This would give you list of Customer for a customers.
Or else,
Go to SE16 & enter tabke KNA1.
Here you can gget list of all Customer codes, names & other details.

Hi,
Any iview or page or workset should be part of role. SO if user has access to a particular role, he will have access to the portal objects inside that role as well. So the way to go is you can get all the roles, check iViews, pages etc. If iViews or pages match, then save the role to arraylist. Now check the users who are assigned to these roles in arraylist. That may work.

I am using BI Apps 7.9.6.1. I have created all the reports and dashboards on prod. I am facing a problem like I can see all the dashboards and reports at Admin level. But while m trying access those reports and dashboards, I cant see only one of the dashboard.
I have checked all the privilege and responsibility for that dashboard.. everything seems to be fine.Below given my error details.
