I'm taking a public speaking class, and I have to turn in my outline for it using the traditional form. For instance:
I. intro
A.attention getter
B. Preview
1.blah
2. blah
a. blah
b. Blah
I couldn't find a way to automate this in open office. It would automate the numbered sections, but would choke on the lettered sections. I got the first couple of assignments done by manually tabbing etc. It was still slightly inconsistent though.
I don't want anyone to try to figure out a way to do this for me, I'm just hoping that someone has already found a way to automate this completely. I don't necessarily have to use OpenOffice.org. Any program that can output a professional looking paper that automates this task will do. There are so many programs to try, including note taking programs, lyx, etc., I will look around a little myself, but the point is to save time, so if you've already conquered this problem, please let me know how. Thanks.

you have got to apply the appropriate styles for lines you want to be a heading... and depending on their position in the text they should be pre-fixed corretly. i think the stylewindow can be opened with F11 and while your cursor is in a certain line... then you can choose some style and the heading should be formatted and intended correctly. btw: these applied styles are also used for index-table-generation ;-)

How to create an exe file for single class

l have one some program with only one class and want to create one exe file for
easily execute for the user.
I've use exe4j and another tool to do but all failure, the error message always shown me that main class not found.

I suspect your class has somewhat invalid thing.
Have you verified:
- The class you wish to be executed contains public static void main(String args[])- The package declaration on your executable-wannabe class is valid
- In case you need to import another class, make sure the import statement(s) is valid
No matter what kinda program you use to create .exe from java class, the above things must be valid. AFAIK.

Nested Subpanels for LVOOP Class Hierarchy

Hi,
I am trying to figure out a way to create a configuration window for a class object using a subpanel. The problem is that I have LVOOP class hierarchy of 3 levels, and thus I want to use nested subpanels, one subpanel for each inheritance.
For example,
A.lvclass (abstract class)
Private Data Members
String A
Configuration Window VI ( Within a FP there is a String A control and a subpanel for its child class)
B.lvclass (abstract class) (child of A.lvclass)
Private Data Members
Boolean A
Boolean B
Configuration Window VI (Within the FP there is a Boolean A control and a Boolean B control, plus a subpanel for its child class)
C1.lvclass (concrete class) (child of B.lvclass)

What I am trying to accomplish is to create configuration windows for C1 and C2. For each configration window, there are sections for class A and class B, and for the class itself. However, I do not want to recreate the same section (for A and B) over and over again each time new children (siblings of C1) are introduced. To avoid this duplicate task, I think using nested supanes makes sense. But I don't know the best way to do it. Any advice is appreciated

Webservice for ABAP classes

    This is regarding creating about web service for ABAP classes. On searching SDN forum this is not possible.
    But we should not call methods from a class within the function module used in webservice?
    Please advice.

Is the problem in your 'marshall' method? You seem to be using Integer.class instead of String.class for the 'lastName' parameter...

Not able to created Number Ranges for Asset Classes in AS08

I am not able create Number Ranges for Asset Classes in AS08.
It is giving me an error message as company code does not exist.
When I Check Consistency under path SPRO -> Financial Accounting -> Asset Accounting -> Preparing for Production Startup -> Check Consistency -> Overview Report: Company Codes. I am getting the following

If you see the above first two line you will find the difference is that Company code RSOL in the first line and NKTR company code in the second line.
Actually CoCode no. alloc. has been wrongly copied as NKTR while copying CoCode it should be RSOL and not NKTR.
I think because of this wrong allocation it is giving me an error in AS08. Also it is not showing me CoCode in drop down list in AS08.
Please help me to resolve the problem.

Generic Table to a formal type - for master data user exit class

     I am attempting to setup an ABAP OO framework for extending master data with the CMOD exit, EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002. My goal is to create generic base class, upcast to the actual extraction structure, apply the customizing data fields, and then return the full table to the exit.    The problem is that I_T_DATA, the internal table for return values is untyped and therefore generic.   I tried using a class parameter as type ref to DATA, but the upcast if failing is failing. Can any one suggest:
What parameter type should I use for the class method parameter?
How do you upcast to the formal extract structure type?
How do you assign the result back to the generic type?

I ended up figuring out the answer after a bit more work. In case it helps others, the keys points are:
I_T_DATA exposed in EXIT_SAPLRSAP_00x is a dynamic internal table
The reference to the table can be passed to a method parameter as a generic type, TABLE
Though, to store the value in the class as a formally typed value, such as required by an attribute, the type must be cast to the type, DATA.
For example:
Public section
Method CONSTRUCTUR
     IMPORTS
      PT_DATA TYPE TABLE.
Assign data pointer to attribute
     GET REFERENCE OF PT_DATA INTO A_T_DATA.
Endmethod.
protected section.
data A_T_DATA type ref to DATA .

Unable to resolve error while creating a maintenance project for SMD

Hi,
I am getting an error when I try to create a maintenance project for SMD 331- SMD 341 - SMD 351 systems.
( SMD 331- Development, SMD 341- Test, SMD 351- Production ) SMD is 4.0 upgraded system.
Detailed description of the problem:
In SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN, I select a newly created project
GS_SMD3513 and in tab 'System Landscape', go to tab 'Change Requests', here when I do consistency check
I get following errors
1. 'No consolidation system found for SMD-331 (project GS_SMD3513)'
2. Message from function module /TMWFLOW/CHECK_PRJ_CONS: No export system for SMD-351
3. Error reading information for number range object /TMWFLOW/D
The transport route between SMD331- SMD341- SMD351 is available as any transport request created in SMD 331 can be successfully imported to SMD 341 and SMD 351.
I need help to resolve these errors.

Have you tried to go to the previous or next timesheet and then navigate with the "previous period" or "next period" to the timesheet in question.
Also have you tried to open it using a delegation session?

tick the check box OO transaction model.
give the class name method name which u have created in se 24.which was activated successfully.it should be activated otherwise it will not work.
under GUI SUPPORT.
TICK the all 3 check boxes.
SAP GUI FOR HTML
                        JAVA
                       WINDOWS.
then save.
u should b saved in package(don't forget).
it was working.
i have already checked and did it succesfully.

Declare the object as TYPE REF TO the class and use the CREATE OBJECT statement to create an object.
DATA <obj_name> TYPE REF TO <class_name>.
CREATE OBJECT <obj_name>.

I am using Oracle JDeveloper 10g. I have created a main application using Swing/JClient technologies. I am facing a problem for the past one week. I let u all people know my problem and I kindly request you to send a solution if known possibly confirmed.
Problem: I have created a main application using swing that class extends JFrame. This main application consists of two parts. One left side panel and one right side panel. Left side panel contains JTree component. Each item in that tree refers to a class file located in a separate jar file.i.e that acts as a separate application. If we are executing separately that jar file class, I am able to see that small application running. If I am selecting an item in JTree during runtime, I should place that small application from the respective jar file in the right side panel of the main application. I can locate the jar file and even I can create object to that particular class file. But I cannot execute the application even separately and also not able to place in the right side panel of the main application.
Note: The small application from the jar file contains one class file containing main method. That class file extends JPanel and implements JUPanel. i.e., with data binding. I am trying to create an object for this class file with data binding from my main application. Navigation bar is used in the main class file.
If possible can any provide me solution at the earliest. Waiting eagerly for the positive reply.

Can you sure that there is only a A class in the classpath of Tomcat, I advise you to add
some statements into the A class so that you can be sure which classloader is used
to load the A class.
