Root/Totals item in FS Item hierarchy - not flipping properly

Hi all,
can you point me towards a solution? I think I am missing something:
in the hierarchy, but default the <b>Root/Totals Item</b> appears above the rest of the nodes. I need to display it on the bottom.
I've gone to the DW Workbench and looked at the appropriate hierarchy. I changed the attributes to to have the Root/Totals item appear Below in the query. Here is what I am getting, and what I am not:
1. In BEx Analyzer, the query works properly, showing the Root at the bottom.
2. In WEB Analyzer, the query still shows the Root on top
3. If I use the characteristic (0CS_ITEM) as a navigational attribute for another characteristic in another cube, the root node also will not show on top.
Any suggestion? Should I open up an OSS message?

Hi Inge,
Just ideas:
1. Try to use the check of CoI settings - help in error messages may give you some clue.
2. Many settings in SEM-BCS are time-dependent. Check if you use different version and/or different periods - missing settings may sit somewhere there.

Why is my "recent items" list not updating properly?

When I go under the Apple menu to "Recent Items," I find that sometimes it does not actually show the most recent documents I have been working on. I just closed a Microsoft Word document that I've been editing and saving for the past two hours, and it doesn't appear in the list, yet a bunch of other items are documents I had open earlier today (and have since closed). The solution - turn cookies back on in Safari.
I'm guessing here, but it seems likely that iTunes uses the same rendering engine as Safari, and perhaps it is also dependant on Safari's use or non-use of cookies.
What I know for sure is this - once I turned cookies back on in Safari, my list of Purchased items was populated, instead of being blank. So, hope this helps others.
(I didn't have to reload my library, or any of the other things that others have suggested.)

PO Item Customization not working properly

Hello Experts,
I have developed a custom flow where A Particular type of PO will have subsequent STO at it's each line item. And once the PO quantity/deletion flag/delivery date/ batch of each PO line item is updated, its subsequent STO should also be updated.
Current Flow is like this,
We have custom tab at PO line item where user fills some details and press save in ME21N, then subsequent STO is created, and STO number is updated in the same custom tab. I have done this part and implemented my logic in the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST under method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~CLOSE.
I am facing the problem while updating the STO for changes happened in PO as mentioned above. I have developed the STO updating logic under method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~POST using BAPI_PO_CHANGE, But when i change PO quantity and check the subsequent STO updating, a dump occurs from standard program as below.

When i comment out this STO updating logic (BAPI_PO_CHANGE & BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT) the porgram works fine. I also tried implementing the same code in user exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_013. Here also it throws the same dump.
But when I develop the same logic in method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~CLOSE, no dump occurs. But here the main problem is that this method gets invoked when user enter the PO through ME22N/ME23N for the first time. It does not get triggered at the time when PO changes are saved.So no STO updating happens there.
Could you please let me know if there is any method where I can develop my logic to update STO at the time of PO save.

I thought the Bookmarks Toolbar always took the bottom position, but I haven't installed many extensions that create toolbars, so perhaps it's not a strict rule.
Toolbar layout is stored in an XML-format file named localstore.rdf. It is a temperamental file that sometimes becomes corrupted and is tricky to edit. However, editing or deleting the file is far less disruptive than a full reset so, for future reference, you can find it here:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit
Then pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup before editing/deleting localstore.rdf (use a plain text editor to view/edit)

Items are not updating properly in DP90

Hi,
As per my requirement , i have to add the items from sales order created by DIP profile. It is updating only one item instead of three when i ran the transaction DP90 with Sales order number and Posting date to. I have passed the required data to ET_DLIA and ET_DLIV1 tables while using the exit 'EXIT_SAPLAD15_005'.
Can any body suggest me if i miss any required input data to above mentioned tables.

I upgraded to version 9 from version 8. The following items do not work properly - menu, home page, navigation bar, wheel click. I backed up to version 8, and none of this stuff works right. How do I fix this?

When I open Firefox, the bookmark menu is a little tab in the upper left corner. If I go to view and un-click bookmark menu and then view, click it, the standard menu bar shows up. The Back and Forward buttons don't work. The navigation window does not show the URL of the current page. When opening, the home page does not come up. The wheel click works on the bookmark bar, but not within a page. The menu (file, edit, etc) does not work after the first page. Version 8 worked well. When I upgraded to version 9, all this trouble started. I backed up to version 8, but the problem persists.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Substitution not working properly

Hi,
I have extended a VO and substituted.
I could able to successfully add a new column in the LOV region from the VO.
But when I tried to map the newly added column in the LOV region with the parent region item, its not working properly. There is no error but the dependent LOV does not take the value from the parent region.
Anyone experienced similar problem?

No it does not take from any other LOV and there is no existing LOV mapping for this item.
Its in the iExpense>Create expense report>General Information screen> Approver LOV
The APPROVER LOV needs to be mapped with the field "Cost Center" which is not there in the standard functionality.

Flip effect not working properly

Hello Friends,
I am just a beginner in flex. Sorry for asking such a silly question. In the below code I am trying to make a Flip effect using Alex Uhlmann's libraries. When I click on the Datagrid, its not flipping properly. (When the table flips the red colored canvas is supposed to be on the other side of the datagrid. But it just stays in the background). I am missing something in my code. I very much appreciate your help

Same problem here. Still looking for advice or solutions in all threads. Reverse works fine on movies taken with the MacBook minicam, but doesn't seem to work on movies imported from outside minicams.

Once in a while my full-crawl fails and stops working properly. The crawllogs show this error for all items crawled.

The full crawls starts out ok, after a while (1.5 hours into the process, 50% of all the data) suddenly no more items can be added to the index.
The index seems to be stuck. The index files on disk are no longer updated (Located in D:\Microsoft
Office Servers\15.0\Data\Office Server\Applications\Search\Nodes\BAADC4\IndexComponent3\storage\data\SP4d91e6081ac3.3.I.0.0\ms\%default) The Index and Admin component start to report these error in the ULS logs:

Looks to me the index has troubles updating/merging 'generations'. But the exact working of the indexer is not documented (as far is I know). Let alone how to fix this.
Other (maybe related) observations
Just before the errors start the NodeRunnerIndex starts a 'checkpoint': Journal[SP4d91e6081ac3]:
Starting checkpoint because forceCheckpoint is true.which ends a few moments later with Journal[SP4d91e6081ac3]:
All journal users have completed checkpoint Checkpoint[7560-7569].
Also just before the errors start to appear a TimerJob starts: Name=Timer

And right after these two evente the errors start to occur. (each row is a ULS log enrty)

The Question What is causing this? And how to prevent it? It happend twice in two weeks

Known Fix This resolves the problem, but doesn's address the root-cause of the problem!
Stop all crawls.
Wait a few minutes to let the crawl come to a complete stop.
Reset the index (clearing all!)
Start a full-crawl. In the meantime no search is available to the end user (boohoo!)

How to display total "items" and "amount " in header.jsp in CRM ISA B2B

I am modifying header.jsp in standard CRM ISA B2B application. Here we have summary of total number of items and total amount but it is coming in to button and for that below code is there in header.jsp and it display it as button text.

Hi, I tried another logic. I took value from Standard button, in which B2B application display total items and amount and I hide this field, to another text element.
Now I Am breaking that value in words and stored them in array and then trying to display that array with particular number which contains total item and amount through Java Script on Focus.
But problem here is, It is not getting updated automatically I have to click on new text files to trigger Onfocus event. How I can achieve effect like as soon as Standard button changes it's value which is now hidden filed my new text box should update automatically.

We are trying to reverse the clearing document t.code FBRA but could not reverse it and getting below mentioned error.

Hi Ramanjaneyulu,
If you reset a clearing with transaction FBRA, a check of zero balance
occurs first in all local currencies. With a balance that is not equal
to zero the system issues message F5136 and it is not possible to reset
the clearing.
Regarding your issue itself, based on my analysis of the information
provided and from previous experience with error message F5136 when
running FBRA please let me highlight some of the most common reasons
for this error to be raised:
- GL account is being changed by any substitution: HKONT is expressly
forbidden for substitution (check BXCLUDE from table GB01 by standard
the field is flagged) if this field is being changed by a substitution
or user exit this is most likely the root cause for error message
F5136, however as this is considered a modification it falls of the
product support scope.
- Documents involved have being archived: Since the related documents
are archived, the balance of document is not zero and error message
F5136 appears. It is not possible to reverse
the clearing document because system cannot find the documents that
were cleared to change their status to open.
- Any of the documents contain field BSEG-RFZEI <> 000: This kind of
document cannot be reversed via FBRA. Please refer to note
1301679 this note contains valuable information regarding
this system behavior.

UWL Task items&Notification not Showing in to portal,

Hi all,
We have eportal 7.0.1 installed with ECC 6.0 . We are implementing ESS / MSS(Leave Request) .
We have registered the backend system to the eportal for webflow connector and alert connector.
Workflow items are not visible on the portal ,and also notifications are not visible in the UWL list.
Also when i go to the universal worklist configuration , the universal worklist shows
an error sending message
"The specified root item cannot be retrieved from the configuration. Correct the entry before trying again".
What could be the reason?

FAGLB03 and GL Account Line Item Display not tally

Hi SAP Guru,
Just wondering why our balance in FAGLB03 and GL Account Line Item Display is not tally. What could be the reason and what should I do to have it reconciled?

Please check the SAP note:
Note 1223997 - Amounts incorrect in FAGLB03 navigation to FAGLL03 and FB03.
1. There is a difference between FAGLB03 and navigating to FAGLL03.
You display transaction figures of an account using FAGLB03.
By double-clicking a line, you branch to the line items.
The total of the items does not correspond to the balance.
If you drill down to the 'Debit' or 'Credit' column, certain items may not be displayed, or too many items may be displayed. This occurs in particular with negative postings, for example because a negative posting 'reduces' the balances on the credit side.
Therefore, this item should be displayed in the 'Debit' items when you navigate to FAGLL03. This does not work correctly.
Reason and Prerequisites
There is a program error or a data inconsistency
If the problem symptoms are as above, kindly check in the system whether this note has been applied.

TS3697 error msg items could not be synced

i'm trying to upload my photos from my 4s to my laptop. i was able to upload a few but can't get them all to upload!
itunes acts like its going to work and finishes but then i get an error msg on my iphone. it says itunes sync then lists the entire amt of my photos and says those said items could not be synced. see itunes for more info. but i can't find out any other info even on my itunes! can anyone help me with this before i totally lose it! lol

It sounds like you are trying to import photos from your iPhone 4S to your computer. The Photos tab in iTunes is for syncing photos to your iPhone from your computer, but I found an article with the steps you can take to import the photos from your iPhone to your computer:

Items could not be synced ERROR?

I keep getting this error on all my devices aftre I try to sync with Itunes

i just experienced the same problem and frustration when syncying my device on iTunes. i finally saw the little warning sign (exclamation mark inside a circled triangle) next to the eject "button" where my device was listed on the left in iTunes. Clicking on it brings a pop up window that gives more details for the first problem. If more than one item did not sync, just click on the little sideways triangle next to the "total problems" count (in the bottom left corner of this pop up window) to get a full list of items complete with reason why each didn't sync.

Financial Statement report (Tr. F.01) by item hierarchy

I have created hierarchy items in the financial statement version via tr. FSE2.
Can I run the financial statement report for such a hierarchy item?
Or is it only possible to select the G/L accounts of that hierarchy and create a variant for the Financial statement report?

Hi,
In FI, it is not possible to run the report for your hierarchy note.
You need to run the report for the whole Financial Statement Version (FSV).
However, you can create the same for a node in Profit Center Accounting.
Before that you must make sure that you have copied the FSV to Profit Center Accounting.
You can use KE5B for this purpose.
Please let me know if you have further doubts.
