SAP WAS JMS ID and MQ JMS ID is incompatiable

Our scenario is to connect SAP WAS JMS Provider to MQ Series.
But the problem we are facing is the JMS Message ID is incomapatiable with the MQ JMS ID.
I am getting the error

  • Scenarios using Sender JMS adapter and Reciver JMS adapter

    Hi All,
I am not able to find god step by step blog on senderJMS adapter and Receiver JMS adapter.
also please explain when we use JMS.What does a messng system means?please provide some examples.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi  Goyal,
    Messaging System :
Messaging system allows separate, uncoupled applications to reliably communicate asynchronously. The messaging system architecture generally replaces the client/server model with a peer-to-peer relationship between individual components, where each peer can send and receive messages to and from other peers.
Go thru this you will get better idea :
    http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Networking/messaging/
JMS adapter (Java Message Service) enables you to connect messaging systems to the Integration Engine or the PCK.

1 - JMS clustering is an advanced concept, and, in most cases, uses "distributed queues". In case you haven't already, I highly recommend reading the JMS chapter of the new book "Professional Oracle WebLogic" as well as the related chapters in the JMS Programmer's Guide in the edocs.
2 - The basic problem below is that you have two different queues that have matching JNDI names, but are in the same cluster.
3 - The config snippet supplied below does not include the queue configuration. Queue configuration is embedded within the referenced module files.
4 - Please ensure that you follow configuration best practices, as per: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13738/best_practice.htm#CACJCGHG

  • How  to Set JMS property and Read JMS property in BPEL using JMS adapter

Does any one know how to set or read more than one JMS property in BPEL using JMS adapter. My queue server is Oracle JMS server.
Any help and sample is well appreciated

    Hi Van
I have noted that only the attribute "type" is missing. It seems that when you create a "string" property, the attribute "type" is droped from the XML. If you use another type (as "integer" or "double") it stays there.
If you try to read your properties, except for the "type" attribute, you should be successful, as I am. If you need, please tell me your email, I can send you my code.

  • Configuring JMS factories and queues INSIDE application?

When I package my EAR, it can contain an "orion-application.xml" file, a "data-sources.xml" file, and a "principals.xml" file. It appears that all of these are used when deploying the application, as they all end up (in some form) in the named subdirectory of "application-deployments".
However, I also need to configure a JMS ConnectionFactory and two JMS Queues. I tried putting a "jms.xml" file into the EAR, but this appeared to have no effect on the deployment.
When I shutdown the server and modified the file "$OC4J_HOME/j2ee/home/config/jms.xml" to specify my factory and queues, then my application started up, and was able to find the factory and queues.
So, is there any way to package my JMS configuration as part of the EAR, so I don't have to specify any manual configuration information in order to deploy my EAR?

Just so we're clear, I wasn't asking how I can specify JMS configuration inside the "orion-application" element, but how I can specify JMS configuration in my EAR. Along with the J2EE "application.xml" file, you can place an "orion-application.xml" file, a "data-sources.xml" file, and a "principals.xml" file. I was wondering whether I could also put a "jms.xml" file in the same directory in the EAR.
Your first sentence is relatively clear on this, but when you supplied the link to the "orion-application.xml" dtd, I wondered whether we were talking about the same thing. The DTD for "orion-application" wouldn't (I assume) say anything about the other configuration files.

  • JMS proxy and XA connection factory

    Hi all,
I would like to ask you what is the best practice to adopt about the scenario described below.
A JMS proxy retrieves a message and processes it.
Any error could occurr during processing it and, in case of errors, the JMS proxy error handler publishes the message on ad hoc recovery destination D.
(later another app will check failed messages for fixing & republishing them into ALSB).
In that scenario we have the JMS proxy and the jms business service that, in case of errors, publishes on destination D.
Should the JMS proxy and the business service use both a XA connection factory in order to perform all the above steps in one transaction ?
Otherwise if the business service itself fails publishing on destination D, the message retrieved by the JMS proxy is lost and not re-delivered to the JMS proxy.
Or XA connection factory is not needed and could I use
Routing Options with exactly once or both are needed ?
    Thanks
    ferp

    Hi all,
I did some tests and follow what I've achieved.
    Scenario 1.
    - Precondition
-- A JMS proxy with XA factory + Error Destination (MyRecoveryQueue)
-- A business service BS with XA factory that publishes into MyOutboundQueue
-- No "exactly once" routing option used calling BS
-- an error is forced in the pipeline
    - Flow
-- proxy retrieves a message and try to publish it using BS
-- an error is forced in the pipeline:
--- transaction is rolled back, message redelivered to proxy
--- the message is posted to the error destination after all the retries failed
    Scenario 2.
    - Precondition
-- As 1. but no error is forced in the pipeline
-- the MyOutboundQueue destination queue is paused
    - Flow
-- proxy retrieves a message and try to publish it using BS
-- BS fails to publish it on MyOutboundQueue (because it is paused)
--- transaction is rolled back, message redelivered to proxy
--- the message is posted to the error destination after all the retries failed
    Scenario 2A.
    - Precondition
-- As 2. with MyOutboundQueue paused and resumed
    - Flow:
-- proxy retrieves a message and try to publish it using BS
-- BS fails to publish it on MyOutboundQueue (because it is paused)
--- transaction is rolled back, message redelivered to proxy
--- before all the retries failed the queue is resumed
--- BS succeeds to publish the message
    Scenario 3.
    - Precondition
-- A JMS proxy with NO XA factory + Error Destination
-- A business service BS with NO XA factory
-- No "exactly once" routing option used calling BS
-- an error is forced in the pipeline
    - Flow
-- proxy retrieves a message and try to publish it using BS
-- an error is forced in the pipeline:
--- transaction is NOT rolled back, message NOT redelivered to proxy
    -- so
--- no message delivered to MyOutboundQueue2 destination
--- no message delivered to MyRecoveryQueue2 destination
--- message consumed from MyQueue2 and now is lost!
To publish message into MyRecoveryQueue2 a proxy error handler has to be added and here added explicit publish to MyRecoveryQueue2.
But naturally in that case if in the proxy error handler, the explicit publish fails or any error occurrs no message is delivered to recovery queue.
So if I'm not using an XAFactory the message is auto-acknowledged as soon as it is read and I've to use XA factory if I want the message to be put back in the queue in case of errors and the retry to happen.
So both my proxy service and business service use an XA factory.

  • Proxy authentication required when connecting to internet from SAP WAS

    Hi,
I have deployed a J2EE application in SAP WAS 7.0 and this aplication wants to access an application from internet.
I have set the proxy server details in Visual Admin -> Web Service Container -> setting.
The server is installed locally in my PC.
I am able to run the same java application in my command prompt wit the same proxy details and it is able to access the 3rd party application , but when I am trying to access through web application through SAP WAS I am getting 407 Proxy authentication required.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    Hi,
it seems like your Proxy requires authentication (e.g. Basic authentication)
I am able to run the same java application in my command prompt wit the same proxy details and it is able to access the 3rd party application
Are you providing any credentials here in order to access the internet via Proxy?
What kind of Proxy are you using

JMS Provider is configured with JMS server TTT and corresponding 4 queue factories and 1 topic factory.
If you can see anything wrong with this configuration, I would really appreciate your comments.
Maybe there is something specific that must be configured for JMS in a clustered environment?
    Thanks.

    Yuri:
there may be cluster Q , check once or you should change the values in all cluster servers locally .

  • Connect from Weblogic JMS queue to SAP WAS JMS queue

    Hi,
I am trying to setup a WLS 8.1 messaging bridge between a weblogic JMS queue and a SAP WAS JMS queue. I have configured a queue on both Weblogic and SAP WAS and I have set up the messaging bridge and bridge destintations in weblogic. However when weblogic tries to get the SAP initial context factory it fails with the error below.
I have added the SAP Client jars to the weblogic system classpath, and in the weblogic startup script but it still fails. Has anyone connected from an external JMS queue to a SAP WAS JMS queue that could provide me with some guidence?
    <10/08/2006 08:23:45 AM WST> <Warning> <Connector> <BEA-190032> << Weblogic Mess

    Thanks

    Stoyan,
    Thanks for that.
My problem ended up being a classpath problem. I referenced the directory of the SAP jars in the weblogic start up script. When I changed this to reference each jar individually it worked.
I have a new issue now which may have something to do with security. The trace suggests it is logging on as the guest user, even though I entered my username and password in the Messaging bridge.

  • SAP WAS JMS Provider

    Hi,
Has anyone ever tried to use SAP WAS JMS Provider to connect with another JMS Provider like WMQ? I am looking for information from reliability perspective.
I have seen a blog on SDN on this subject but there aren't any productive uses of JMS provider by SAP. [JMS Provider|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/JSTSG/%28JSTSG%29%28JMS%29FAQ-JMSProvider] has further information on what is offered.

  • JMS adapter and BPM

    Hi.,
I would like to know if it is possible to use SAP XI3.0 BPM and JMS Adapter for synchronous messaging? Scenario is like this: webapplication-->MQ Series --> xi ---> database. And in reponse message we got to have MessageID, Correlation ID and Reply to Queue name and Queue name Manager. If we could do this, can anyone share some informatino on this topic. From my knowledge i would say yes, but i would like to know exact approach(BPM steps, Configuration steps). Thanks for your time.
    Thanx&Regards

  • JMS sender and receiver

    hi
I am in PI 731 single stack.
my scenario is JMS to RFC.
JMS sender will send request to RFC request message.
RFC response need to be sent to JMS receiver.
I have link for dual stack -
    http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/JMS+Webservice+JMS
Is it possible now in single stack too ?

    Hi,
yes, JMS supports asynchronous communication only. However, a request/response model similar to synchronous communication can be implemented using a reply queue mechanism and JMS Correlation ID/JMS Message ID.
    check the below link.
