Some offerings are missing user input, some are not mapping to activites

Seemingly out of the blue my system has stopped mapping request offering answers to (manual) activities (mapping to the SR itself works), neither OotB properties or custom properties. This only happens when submitting them from the portal (ALL
offerings)
Also, some requests are even missing user input (and obviously no mapping is possible).
This issue seem to affect all users. Even admins
I have tried restarting the web content server and also the website on the sharepoint server. I have also tried creating a brand new template and offering in a brand new MP.
I have been able to track down a ca. point in time this issue arose, but not found anything in logs anywhere (except SMPortalTrace). Checked web content server event log and website log, SQL log, event log on both management servers.
I have checked the SMPortalTrace.log and for every request submitted I get an error (not visible in the portal) - some is in danish, so I have translated at the best of my ability:
Failed to parse the description with links., System.ArgumentNullException: [ArgumentNull_Generic]

Update:
I found that if the user input is missing even from the SR then the error does not present itself in the SMPortalTrace.log, only if the user input goes through (but is not mapped to activities).

The issue seems to be related to a syntactically valid type projection in the Service Request form (customized) - I added a component to the existing projection. As the template that a request offering is based on has a reference to this projection I guess
the code that creates the Service Request submitted from the portal somehow ignores the "unwanted" type projection component, and instead of not submitting the request it continues but is unable to map into child activities. I will try and reproduce
this in more detail.
Solution: Revert to original type projection in the SR form and everything went back to normal.

In firefox 4 RC, some addons installed suddenly disappear, but checking the profile, some of the missing addons related files are still here, how to make the addons back?

I use firefox 4 form beta 9 to RC (zh) now and there are also firefox 3.6 installed in computer. One day when I open Fx 4 RC, some (actually a lot but not all) of the adoons just disappear. When I check on about:addons page, some addons installed do not appear in the list.
The addons '''REMAINED''' including:
* addons I already used in Fx 3.6 (like webmail notifie , xmarks)
* ''addons only can use in Fx 4'' (like Open Web Apps for Firefox).
The addons '''DISAPPEARED''' including:
* addons I already used in Fx 3.6 (like yoono)
* '' addons installed when using Fx 4'' (like updatescanner, Thumbnail Zoom).
But when I check the profile(by Help > Troubleshooting Information>Open Containing Folder) , some (not sure is it all) of the missing addons related files are still here [lucky], so any one know how to make the missing addons back?
Some more details:
* This happened when i use RC for already a few days and keep on even i restart Fx and windows.
* The bookmarks, history, search engine and even themes and icon setting are still here. [ I only sync bookmarks but not history for both xmarks and firefox sync.]
* This addons are really '''disappeared''' but not disable only!
* This number of addons missed, as i remember, at least 30, should be more than that number bacause some of them are installed but in disable mode.
* I try to install back one of the addons - Stylish, the installed code are still here.
* It is nearly an impossible mission to install every missing addons again, as it really kill my time.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar to do a compatibility check.

Unable to read email with mozilla firefox. The online graphics are missing and the links are unable to be accessed when I try to click on them

Having issues with being able to assess my email on Mozilla Firefox. When I sign in, the graphics are missing. Once I'm logged in, the inbox is not there. Some thing is wrong graphically. There are work links for inbox and contacts, but they are all flushed to the left of the screen. When I attempt to click on them, nothing happens. I have tried to remove Firefox and then reinstall it but the same thing happens. I also attempted to reset firefox to its default state and that did not work either. I check plug ins and most are up to date. However, not clear for window presentation foundation is and if it was necessary to have. The plug in state was unknown. Please advise on what to do? Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

CR Viewer tool bar images are missing; Export and Print are not working

I used Crystal report 10.5(VS 2008 base crytal report -- CRRedist2008_x86.msi), i developed ASP.net application using VB.net program(i used .net 3.5). One of the pages in the application is having crystal report viewer, which is calling a crystal report to populate the result. The report is working as expected on development machine (Win Vista). Hence, I moved the application onto Server (Windows Server Web; 32Bit OS and IIS). I installed the CRRedist2008_x86.msi, which added the "aspnet_client" under default website. As my site is a made as an application under default webiste. I tried...
a) By copying the aspnet_client folder into the website folder
b) By adding a virtual directory called "aspnet_client" under my website pointing it into the folder under "default website"
None of the trials are working for me.
When I click on Print or Export buttons (although their images are missing), I get the error sigh on bottom left (status bar) of the browser and the popping up the same giving me below error details

Hello All.
I am excited to let you know that the issue is being resolved.
Here is steps that lead me to resolution and solution..
I installed Fiddler2 and looked into every the debugging details of the transaction while running the report.
Learned that the crystal report is using the aspnet_client foler under "Default website" NOT under the crrent website.
Hence I tried to access the image via http path from local machine
http://myserver/aspnet_client/system_web/2_0_50727/CrystalReportWebFormViewer4/images/toolbar/export.gif.
(Notice, "mysite" folder is been removed)
I was expecting to see the gif on my browsers' body. It gave me an error.
Investigated further more on the error and found that the "Managed Pipe Line" of the respective application pool is to be changed to "Classic" instead of "Integrated"
changed it .. Boom...
Tool bar is showing up with proper images and as well the "Export" and "Print" functions are working as expected..
Hope this helps to those in the same situation.
Again.. this is one of many many solutions on this issues.

After installin iCloud all of my contacts are missing from Outlook and are in iCloud. How do I get them back into Outlook.

I installed iCloud on windows 7. When I opened outlook to send mail my contacts and address book are missing. I did the contacts in iCloud.

Did you also check the Windows Accessibility settings?

My iPhone had to be restarted, after I reinstalled it, I have no iTunes on it and the ringtones that I had purchased, are missing, even though they are in iPhone on my PC. What can I do??

My iPhone would not work when I connected to the PC, came up that I had to restore it, when it was finished, I had no iTunes and the ringtones that I has purchased were not on the iPhone, although they were in iTunes as being purchased, I would really appreciate any help that can be offered.

User Input Variable used not as Filter

Hi Experts,
I need some advice. I have a requirement to input a date value to use for calculation but do not want to filter the data based on the variable. Is there a way to hold this variable value without using it to filter the query results?
For example, the report will ask a user to input a date in the future, however I do not want to query my results based on this future date.
Please advise.

I was hoping there was some functionality or option to do this without adding an additional char to my infoprovider.
Is there a way to use the Key Date of the query as a replacement value for my key figure? I applied a variable on the Key Date and the input didn't affect the query results, however I wasn't able to select the Key Date as a replacement value.
Any advice on this?

I just changed my I tunes ID to reflect a new email address and made some new purchases. Now when I go to my library all my previous downloads are missing (over 30 gig worth!). What's going on?

Songs that I have purchased are missing in iTunes (file not found/exclmation point), and do not show up in the iTunes Store for download.

I have a laptop that has (or had) pretty much all of my music, both burned from CDs and downloaded from iTunes. My 17 year old son on occasion syncs his iPhone and iPad with this laptop. As of the last sync (as best I can determine), many songs that I purchased in the past few years are now missing, in that they have an exclamation point to the left of the song title, and when I try to play the song, I get an error message that says "The song could not be used because the original file could not be found" or something to that effect. As it turns out, the file seems to be erased. This has happened multiple times, and I could be wrong, but I believe that there are some songs that had the exclmation point last time he synced that now don't, and vice-versa. There is not an obvious correlation or grouping as to why these songs are missing (e.g,. they were not all purchased on the same date, not all songs from one artist are missing, etc.).
Since most of these songs have been purchased through iTunes through my account, my reaction was to go to the iTunes store, log in with my account, and re-download them. Problem is, all of these songs instead ask me to purchase the song, instead of displaying a "cloud" logo. Therefore, it appears that I have to re-purchase these songs, which does not sound correct.
Questions: Does anyone know, most importantly (to get an immediate fix):
1. How can I re-download these songs and why doesn't iTunes Store recognize that I have already purchased them?
and perhaps as important (more of a long-term question):
2. Why does this happen and how can I prevent this from happening again (since it has happened multiple times)?

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

There are still plenty of images attempting to be loaded from a folder level above the Root:

are you sure there is an "images" folder in the root?

Typically attempting to look at the index file of a folder level will return "Access Prohibited" or actually reveal the file and sub folder structure with that folder level... but trying to directly access the "images" folder returns page not found. While I realize there may not be any index page there... I would normally be getting "Access Prohibited".
You may have made changes but are you sure they have ALL been uploaded to the server?
Are you uploading via DreamWeaver or an FTP program?
How are you verifying that the server folder structure is exactly the same as your local machine?

Please help, my calendar events are missing from iphone, ipad, and icloud that were there last week

I use the calendar on my iphone and I pad for my entire life, including work, everything for my boys and all of my hubbys appointments.
Last Friday was the last time that I inputed appointments into my calendar and everything previous was in there and on my ipad and icloud.
I went in this morning to check an appointment time for something next week and found that 99% of the events that I had scheduled since the beginning of the year are missing. And they are missing from my iphone, my ipad, my icloud, and no longer in my Yahoo calendar.
I am drfinately in a panic, i need these ....
Has anyone had this problem?

Check you aren't hiding them.
i.e. on the phone settings > mail, contacts, calendars > calendars > sync.

FOLDERS ARE MISSING-on ipod but not on i-tunes any advice?

HI I have been trying to get my ipod updated and it seems as though my folders are missing on my ipod but not on my itunes.
I was using itunes 4.7 with my 4 button ipod(not sure the generation maybe 3rd) and I just updated to itunes 7 hoping to fix the problem. I am still getting the same error message that says my ipod cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for syncing no longer exist. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

while the ipod is plugged in and showing up in the sourcelist, click on the "Music" tab.
you will currently have "Selected playlists" selected. go through the list of playlists beneath that, comparing them with the playlists that appear in your itunes sourcelist. uncheck any that no longer appear in the itunes sourcelist. check the playlists that you do want to sync to the ipod. click apply.
