Stateful application service is not possible?

Hi,
I want to define a stateful application service with CAF in CE7.1, but I couldn't find any option about this in NWDS. If I try to alter the annotation above the session bean from u201CStatelessu201D to u201CStatefulu201D, it has always automatically reset itself after I generate the project again. Is there a way to do this? Because I really wanna to share the context of this application service among a few clients, or should I create a BO to store this Context and read this each time?

I'm having issue getting kinect to do recording (kinect is connected to pc1) from another machine (pc2).
from pc2, I launch a process (let's call it kinectrecorder.exe) which lives in pc1 using WMI, the kinectrecorder runs as a background process in pc1. I don't know how to bring kinectrecorder to "foreground"?

As I mentioned in the link, I can get kinectrecorder to do recording using remote desktop, psexec or running it on pc1 directly.

Hi,
Web-UI cannot handle MESSAGE statements. if it's your own program, you should use the web-ui( view_manager->get_message_container or cl_crm_bol_core's global message container) alternatives to display the messages. If the message statement is being issued by a standard program, it's most usually deliberate attempt to fail on unrecoverable error. You can catch it by usin the try...catch CX_SY_MESSAGE_IN_PLUGIN_MODE ..where you call the standard functions.

You should first check your Abap dumps using tranaction code ST22, this usually provides more detail on the problem.
In this case I think it's trying to return a screen (or pop-up message) that can't be handled while activating the web service. The "SAPLSKEY" tells me that it might be licence related, do you have a valid developer's licence for Abap development work? If not apply for one (find out the procedure from other Abap developer's that you may work with) & check if that makes a difference while activating.

Did you create this web service using the wizard in the Web UI?
Looking at the error it's occuring in function module DEVELOPER_CHECK, maybe you could try registering your user as a developer in the system or using a developers account to create the service.

I think you have not installed required features from updite site(Local download directory) propperly after installation of your IDE.
In that case you have update your IDE through Software installation update option of Help menu.
The procedure will be mentioned in the start page of Software setup file(SAPNWCE71Trial_DevStudioSAPNWCE71Trial_DevStudio).

Hyperion EPM server - web application service does not start

Hi All,
I installed and configured epm 11.1.2.2 on windows 2008 server. I was able to start all the services except "Hyperion EPM server - web application" everytim I start the service I am getting an error "some services start and stop as they are not used by any other programs and applications'.
I reconfigured the web server and deployed the application server again but still I am having the same issue.
I was not able to see planning from the navigate of workspace and I am getting errors while trying to start the web analysis.
Can anyone please let me know where I am doing wrong..

we deployed workspace, financial reporting, web analysis, shared services, planning web applications. we were able to access most of them except "web analysis".
we are getting an error while trying to login Web analysis "when starting web anaysis an error occured while initalizing startup options".
I have HP BL480 32 gb of RAM.
I am not getting any error while configuring but I am getting the error when trying toi start the service.

ECR Application - Table Sorting not possible

We've implemeted ESS/MSS on EP7.0 with ECC6.0. The table columns in ECR applications like Employee Change Request and View ECR Status are not sortable. The views of these applications get rendered through OADP settings. Our requirement is to make these table columns sortable. While debugging the FM HRWPC_RFC_OADP_EVAL_DATAVIEW, the column status are in SORTABLE state. But even then portal application the columns are not clickable . Am i missing any other setting? Please help me in this regard

When installing iTunes I recive error message and i am able to ignore but if I want to open itunes after installation it says apple application service was not found

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The section Install missing components may allow you to install Apple Application Support.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Cisco CUCM 6.0 service can not start

Hi,
Last week our CUCM 6.0 server service was down, the IP phone can not register and can not used browser to access CUCM server, use ssh client to access was ok. We have tried to restart system several times, but the system still not work.
I execute "utils service list" command, it show :

Did you get any error message ( asking for recovery disk ) during server reboot ?
If yes, then you need to download the Recovery software for your CUCM version from CCO ( or look for the Recovery disk in your media set received with CUCM ), here it is

Recovery disk should fix any issues caused due to any file corruption etc & start all the important services.

Not possible to scroll the menu without lagging - Set Up a Repair service is not working

It is not possible to scroll the menu without lagging.
The latest version has been restored but nothing.
I think the touch screen is having some problems.
I wanted to use the Set Up a Repair / Send In for service but it seems that the application form doesn't working.
As soon as push the Continue button, nothing happens.
Is there anybody from Apple who can check this issue please?

Restoring a phone from a backup will put the device back to the state it was when the backup took place, i.e. all info that you had on that phone before using the backup will be gone.
You could try to restore the phone, which will back up the actual data on the phone, including the passcode, and use this backup to set up a new phone with. The passcode will still be the same, because it is part of the backup.

Not being able to fill in the passcode is not much different from forgetting it.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.

Not possible to define Custom Applications in PI2.0 for Assurance?

Problem:
It seems that it's not possible to chage ports for the pre-defined applications under Operate->Applications and Services.
Impact:
We have a business application that we would like to define but that applications ports (tcp 3128 and 5001) collides with already prededfined applications like:

By showing the wrong application name for our own applications makes the Assurance part pretty useless for us and our help desk.

EPMA - It is not possible to delete an application in a "Migrate Pending"

Hi,
on EPMA, as stated on Oracle Documentation that until 11.1.2.1 version, there's known bugs on EPMA:
10278796, 10297577: It is not possible to delete an application in a "Migrate Pending" status.
Now what if I had application in a migrate pending status?
Does anybody have the solutions on this? I mean, how to deceive this so I would be able to do deletion on that application?

We've had the same problem for couple of years now. It's quite unbelievable that there's no solution for this. You can search for "Migrate pending" in this document:

It's a known issue, but at least best to my knowledge, there's no answer for it. It's embarrassing that if an application duplication goes wrong (for some reason, for us it sometimes just stops at 0%), you cannot delete it. Then you explain your customers, that ok, please renew all your SmartView connections to the new application that you've managed to create.
