Thought as a free app, but found out that i have to pay after downloading...

i downloaded bald booth from app store thinking that it was free, but got an email that i have to pay for them. Is there any solution to this problem?
It sounds like the app itself is free, but you made some sort of in-app purchase.
There are many apps that work that way. Prime examples are newspaper apps. In the newspaper app case, the app is often free but doesn't really do anything unless you then subscribe to the newspaper (which is not free).

You could check settings > mail contacts and calandars and see if there are any accounts (like icloud gmail yahoo) listed and if they have contacts on. Its possible if contacts were synced to one of these accounts that turning them back on will recover the missing contacts.

How are you trying to re-download it, from within the store or the Purchased link ? You should be able to redownload it for free via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

Without knowing what app you are talking about, no one here can explain what happended. We can however, make certain assumptions.
Many, free games include "in-app" purchases.... items that you can buy within the game that let you unlock other levels, or use to enhance the game experience. Some free games are lite versions and if you agree to upgrade the game, you may have to pay for the upgrade.
So like I said without knowing what game you are talking about and what you might have done during game play, we can only guess. But .... You should have been required to enter your password when you made any purchases - unless you had already entered your password for another reason - maybe to download a free app perhaps.
Once you enter your password, you can download continuously without having to re-enter the password for a 15 minute period of time so if that's the case, only you would know what happened. If that's not the case, more details will be needed from you for a further explanation. -
I found out that i have a balance due and i cannot pay for it for some reason
I am a former student of Penn State University, I had to go back to my country. I was a verizon customer and I found out that I had an unpaid balance due. I cannot login to my verizon at all. I want to pay my bill right away to cause no further problems. If I can get customer support on this issue I will be very happy.

So i bought my bf the ipad mini. Im out of the country and he wants to download Skype to talk to me. Well when he tried to download it, it is saying that he has to pay for it. He also tried to download the youtube app and it is telling him the same thing. His wifi is on and he is able to get on the internet so what is the problem???? Those are fee apps, should not be actually charged. Are you sure is not being asked to verify he's the actual account holder by adding billing info to the account? Even though your're not getting billled, the account holder identity still has to be verified.

First, note that you've only got 14 days to return, and that's only at the Apple Store. If you bought it elsewhere, different rules may apply. As for restoring it, I don't think that's necessary. The Apple Store techs will restore it regardless of what you do, since they can't know what condition you've left it in.
Also, note that the Mac is also capable of running Windows. If you want a Mac, there's no reason to return it just because of one program. Get a copy of Parallels, which lets you run Windows right alongside all your Mac apps, or use Boot Camp to install Windows on a second partition on your hard drive and boot directly into Windows.

MacBook Pro / Mozilla Firefox / Netflix / Silverlight Update solved - DON'T DWNLOAD FROM NETFLIX
I solved this problem tonight. I have a MacBook Pro with 10.5.8. I know, it's old. But I love my Netflix and I recently noticed that Firefox plays Netflix much better. Then I suddenly got this message that I needed to download the latest Silverlight - it only takes 30 seconds! - WRONG. However, after much searching, I finally did the steps in order and it worked.
This was after repeatedly downloading Silverlight from the Netflix site without success. So here's what I did:
1. Went to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx
2. Followed the directions. I felt like such an idiot for not doing it right before.
3. Go to your hard drive and search for "Silverlight" to locate ANY existing Silverlight files: .dmg, etc.
[also check your Libary/ Internet Plug-ins, but the above search is faster]
4. Drag it all to the trash and empty it.
5. Go back to the Get Silverlight page and click on the Install on that page, not the Netflix site.
6. Note the steps for Safari or Mozilla Firefox - I wanted Firefox, so I follwed those instructions.
7. Once it's installed, close all the browsers and Restart that bad boy. Right away.
8. Open a browser, go to Netflix and proceed to joyfully rot your brain with Netflix content. Yay! -

Have you used the Spotligh search feature to try to find it?
Do you have Restrictions set that would hide the app? Go to Setings>General>Restrictions to check.
Have you went to your computer and looked for it and then try syncing it to the iPod? -

Most, if not all, of the Angry Birds apps are not universal. The HD iPad versions won't sync to your phone, they are for iPad only. If you want the iPhone versions, you have to purchase them separately.

I gave my ipad 2 to my brother last month. After that he erased all content and settings, sign in with his apple id. The next day until now, I found out that I can not udpate my apps both on my iPhone and iPad Air. I had create new apple id, change my password, delete the icloud acc. But still I can not update my apps. I have many of red notifications on iPhone and iPad Air. What should I do? Thank you in advance.
1. It is never a good idea to include personal info like your email address or Apple ID in a post on an open forum.
2. The email you received DOES NOT say your Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPad. The email informs you that your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad. Fortunately the iPad is yours. The message confirms that. If your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad that was not yours your would then know to change your password. Since the iPad is yours you do not need to change your password.

I have just tried to install the full version of Anthill to my iPod touch Gen 4. I get a message on the iPod saying "Anthill failed to install" and an error on the computer "OxE8000004". I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. I have tried the 7 resolution steps advised by Apple and have totally run out of ideas as to what I can try next. I am using a new laptop since installing Anthill Free the first time and am now running Windows 7, otherwise everything else is the same. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.
