User interface---Unable to go to the next page.

Hi all,
I have some major and urgent problem that needs to be sloved asap. My programme is created in such a way that when user hits the start toggle switch on the front panel, it will bring the user to the next tab/page which is the display selection page . However, it did not respond as expected.
And also, how do i connect the icon( display message to user) in the programme? My intention is that after user views the display/execution of the programme, a message will pop up telling the user the next acton he/she should take.
Attached is my programme. i am using labview 7.1. Please advise me on how to go about solving the problem. Thank You.

In the dialog "Edit Event" there is a check box "Lock Front Panel ..." this box should be unchecked for the stop buttons to work.
Your current implementation is difficult to understand.
1. Try to fit your code into a maximum screen size of 1024x768.
2. Try to avoid using while loops in while loops (less scalability, projects tend to grow larger).
3. Build a state-machine : init state(set all intial variable states), main state (handle all user interaction with the event structure), quit state (reset all variables and exit application nicely).
4. Migth not be important now, but try to keep execution time in event case short (not important when user cannot interact during chosen function)

Unable to see the next pages in smart form

in my smart form i designed 3 pages...
in the first page i don't want data in main window...but i gave the main window dimensions as in 2nd and 3rd page(same height and width)...
in 2nd and 3rd page i want to display the data in main window...
but when i am trying to see the output i am able to see only the first page ...

You've originally said.

yet using a command node to trigger the next page means you have to include a (presumably) empty main window in the first page.
Your main window has to contain some output (a table usually) and it's contents are the same on every page (only it's height can change). So, you can't have a blank main window on page 1 and a main window with data on pages 2 and 3.
Remove the main window from page 1, set page2 as the next page for page 1.
As for how to trigger page 3 you'll need to provide more detail on what the condition is. Do you want multiple copies of page 2 to hold all of the main window data, or just one? Do you want one copy of page 2 then the rest of the data on multiple copies of page 3. Be specific.

Text overflown is not getting printed in the next page in ADOBE

Hi Experts,
I have a text field, where the users can enter the comments. In this text field if the user enters more than a page, a scroll bar appears in the print preview where the users can view the complete text what they have entered, but while printing the text which exceeds more than a page is not getting printed in the next page.
I have set the subform properties as "Flowed" and the check box "Allow Page Break within content" is also been enabled, but still the extra contents is not getting printed in the next page.
Please help me regarding this.

This issue is in ADOBE, I think there is no concept of Window in ADOBE,
The text box is placed inside a Subform.

Why is it that when I go to Yahoo mail, I can't delete any messages or move to the next page? Stays stuck on page 1..

Lately, when I log on to my yahoo mail while using firefox, it no longer shows the DELETE option at the top of the email page. So, I cannot delete any emails that I might wish to delete. Also, I cannot get past the first page of my emails. Every time I click on the NEXT PAGE button, it does not move from page 1. This does not happen when I log onto yahoo mail using Internet Explorer. Please advise as to what I can do to correct this. Could it be that I'm not using the latest version of Firefox? I don't know...

How do you create a login page using dashcode for the iPhone's mobile safari that will transfer you to the next page?

     Hey I have created a login page in Dashcode for a mobile safari app (aka iphone web app) and I am having trouble since I can not find any useful info about multiple pages. I don't want to use a stack layout view because it is only a login page and I need to check with a database to make sure the user's login info is correct. Right now I have it set up so that it loads another iphone web app project once it validates the info.
     The only problem with this is I am having a good bit of trouble trying to pass values from my php code to javascript or html. For some reason calling the javascript inside the php code makes the actual code inside the app not be called and same with the echo statment for the html.
So I would like to be able to create the app in this way:
Login page > PHP > MS SQL > PHP > UNKNOWN (if I can't get the javascript or html to output both) > Secure info on the next page
     I believe It would be a lot easier if I had the option for a multiple page but instead I am having to load up an entirely new dashcode project. If anyone knows a better way please let me know. Or if anyone knows a link to good information on passing values from php to javascript, because I couldn't get any of the code I tried to work, I would really appreciate it.

OK. This is weird--but I should be used to that, and just grateful that it seems to work (for now).
What I had done is FTPd some image files to my site using Filezilla, but when I had tried to access them, I was unsuccessful. I am almost sure that I used the same url (and variations of it) as you suggested, namely,  http://mysite.verizon.net/username/filename , and it either did not work, or gave me the "Page under construction", or, in some cases asked me for my username and password.
But, when I did it this time, it worked. So I probably had something off, but I can now do what I want.
By the way, if you'll permit another question, while on the site-builder site, it said that there was a "Web Photo Manager", and said that "To download the Web Photo Manager: Open the Site Builder application and go to the All My Sites page. Click on the Web Photo Manager link (listed under Advanced Building Tools )." I can't find it--would you happen to know where it is?
In any case, thanks a lot for all your help--it solved my problem.

Overset text will not go into the text box that is part of the master for the next page

I am trying to (first time user) set up a simple trade-paperback sized book with some photos. Have set up several masters for chapter title pages, chapter inner pages, etc. When I copy text out of Word into InDesign, (copy/paste) the text overset box appears. I load it, then go to the next page, which I have already formatted using one of the masters. But when I select the desired text box ((Ctrl/shft) and click, the overset text forms a new text box, What am I doing wrong? thanks

I have done, this did work right for at least the left side of the spread, but never for the right side -
Make sure the left and right page master page text frames are threaded View>Extras>Show Text Threads. Here I have left and right page text boxes threaded on my A-master spread:
Checking Smart Text Reflow can make adding long text to master frames easier:
With Smart Text Reflow enabled I've released the master page text box on page 1, note the released frame has a solid border, while the unreleased master page frames on subsequent pages are dotted indicating they are still master page items and not page items.

Another user had the same problem and came up with this workaround:
With regards to using it in DPS, it's not an ideal solution but I imported it as a web overlay rather than an html article and made it smaller than full page so there is a border around the edge on which the user can swipe to turn the page and tap to see menu options.

It all depends on how you have the data displayed in the table?
If u have that information in Session (some kind of array), all you need to do is loop and then find the particular record and display it.

How to dynamically give the next page in Smartform

Hi Nitin,
I am unable to get your requirement clearly but I can help you how to call a page dynamically.
In the First Page, where you want to call the Last Page dynamically after displaying all the contents, right click and create a <b>COMMAND</b> node. In the General Attributes of the command selec the check box for Go to New page and select the page from the dropdrown.
First page
   Main Window
         Table Contents
         Command
Now, after the executing the contents of the First page when the control encounters the command node it dynamically goes to the Page you have mentioned in the command node.

Need help with repeating Subforms on the next page

I have created two different flowable repeating subforms, for example - subform1 and subform2 in a document with an action button for each to add another subform on the next page. After subform2, I have two buttons - one to add subform1 again or add subform2 on the next page. When I click the button, Livecycle adds the new subform as commanded but the subform is added directly after the previous same subform not on the next page as requested. I have tried to change the pagination settings but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me define how to get the repeating subform to add to the next page and not after the same subform?

OK, so here's what I would do.
1. Wrap your subform1 and subform2 in a subform. I'll call it sfMaster.
2. Change your minimum instance for subform1 and 2 to 0 or uncheck the box, and set the initial count to 1. (That way you get at least one of each when we start.)
3. have the buttons create a new instance of sfMaster, then remove the instance of the subform you didn't want within that most recent instance.
So, what the user sees is a new subform1 or 2 each time they hit a button. And they'll appear in whatever order they choose it. The user doesn't have to know that what is actually happening is the creation of a new "master" subform that holds both subform1 and 2.
To help illustrate what I mean, I've added a pink border around sfMaster and colored subform1 and 2.

What it looks like in action
If you want to guarantee it appears on the next page, you'll need to add the conditional break from earlier. Keep working with it to get the settings just right. You may even want a docReady() event that creates two sfMaster's and sets one to have Subform1 and the other to have Subform2.

Header not getting displayed in the next page in the second table

Dear Experts ,
I have a query regarding Header not getting displayed in the next page in the second table of the main window. .Let me elobrate the issue.
I have a smartform in which there are 2 tables TABLE 1 and TABLE 2 in the smartform MAIN window. TABLE 1 is for pending PO and TABLE 2 is for future delivery date P O separated by text in between.
Now the header for both the tables and the data are getting displayed properly if the total output is in only one page. But If there are more entries in the TABLE 1 the Header for the TABLE 2 is not getting displayed. Header for TABLE 1 yet gets displayed properly in the next page in case of more entries.
Only issue is that Header for TABLE 2 is not getting displayed in second page but it gets displayed if the entries are less in TABLE 1 and the total output is in one page .
Please provide a elobrate solution on this problem as the requirement is urgent.

The Page is directly getting redirected to the next page

I have tried using response.redirect("filename.jsp") in the two buttons as shown below but the pages are getting directly to the next page without loading the first page.Even though i write a .js file and include it in the jsp file that method is not getting called into the jsp page.Please advice.....stuck here.
