What happens when a OUT parameter of a web-service returns an empty string

Hi,
Any idea on how to deal with the situation when a web-service returns an empty string
I get the following System Exception:-
Caused by: java.lang.AssertionError: Attempt to set empty javaType to ticketResponse(out,0) :: fuego.type.FuegoClass$LazyRef@6770f2. It must be null or a valid java type.
It therefore either expects a null value or a valid java type...
Since it goes into a system exception, the activity is not completed and nothing is inserted into the web-service..
How do we resolve this error inside of BPM?

Thanks Ben for your replies.
Before I attempt changing a VI that was written by a client and make a total mess of it, there's something I'd like to point out.
I tried the re-entrant VI approach and that didn't go any further than the VIT approach, and probably for the same reason(s).
The interesting part is that (with the VIT approach) the same VIT is called by another process and it works fine.  It is just for the process that has it appear within 2 sub-panels.  So the issue is related to having either having two instances spawn at once of the same VIT or it is related to the sub-panels.  I think it is the two instances (or copies of the VIT) that causes LV to caugh...
So you are trying to tell me that the above description is accurate and it is because of the private methods...??...
How would I "wrap" those private methods into public ones?  The seems to be a piece of this puzzle that I am not yet grasping..
Thanks for your patience and help.

  • Lost my iPod, remotely locked it through iCloud. What happens when the battery goes out?

    Hello!
I lost my Ipod, but managed to locate and lock it remotely through Find my iPod and iCloud. It was located once, but hasn't been located again in the last four days. I think the battery may have run out. What happens when the battery is charged and the iPod turned back on? Does the lock and everything else that can be controlled with Find my iPod still apply?
    Thank you!

Yes, because when you remotely lock the iPod via Find my iPod, the lock code is set as the lock code that you would use to unlock the iPod if you used a passcode normally. As long as the iPod is still connected to your Apple ID, Find my iPod should work as log as the iPod is connected to wifi.

My iPOD class (last generation) shuts off when jostled--like what
happens when the headphones come out.  Is there any fix for this?

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

What do you think of the snapshot backup on page 22 of [url http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/storage/w/wiki/2638.oracle-11g-backup-and-recovery-using-rman-and-equallogic-snapshots-by-sis.aspx]this paper? (No sarcasm, I'm curious about these snap solutions in general. Though I am really down on Dell for what turned out to be a brain-damaged laptop I got for my wife.)
Well, you can't really make a judgement about a company's enterprise products based on an experience with their consumer products. What if it came from what they call a business products catalog? They intermingle laptops with servers.
Don't know, in general. I do know that for Dell there is a distinct difference between their decidedly consumer laptops (Inspiron) and their "business" Lattitude series. I know that at my last job we had a lot of rock solid HP equipment (servers and SAN) - vs. an HP laptop I had that was trouble from Day One. I'm sure there is a point in desktops and laptops the line can get blurred, but in the case of the OP, he was no where near that fuzzy line.

    Hi Ketan Tank,
Agree with Anthony, you can get the updates (KB2889923 & KB2889853) through Windows Update.
The Skype for Business Client will already be activated as it is an update to an existing licensed product.
    Best regards,
    Eric

  • What happens when the multiply effect is applied to both the object and the graphic within?

    Hi everyone,
I could really use some help with this...
I'm getting a booklet ready to be printed. Originally, half of the pages were to be printed on paper with a (physical) colour. For budget reasons however, I've now decided to print the paper colour, and have the content of the pages overprinted on the tint in the background, which I've applied to the pages in the background of an additional master page.
When I set the objects to multiply, they blend with the background colour, which is the effect I'm looking for, as there would be no 'paper white' on the pages that I want to appear as though printed on coloured paper.
There's something confusing me though; you can also set the graphic within the object frame to multiply. This makes the graphic appear darker, which I don't really understand, since there is no extra colour within the graphic that accounts for this. I've looked at the output in the resulting pdf, and it looks like it's not just an on-screen effect, but the extra amount of (in this case) yellow would also be visible in the printed result.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? Please see the graphic for a visual example.
    Thanks in advance, kind regards
    Robbin

    Hi.
Yes. There is a heartbeat mechanism between all cluster members so they detect when a
member has left the cluster. The primary server recognizes when it's secondary server
has failed, and then proceeds to search for another member of the cluster to make as
              it's new secondary.

  • What happens when the CC trial ends? What happens when offline?

I need Lightroom to work offline on my laptop. What happens if I need to sign in to CC when there is no interned connection and what happens when the CC trial ends on both my laptop and desktop?

Thanks for answering. I have the standalone version of Lightroom 6 on my Windows 7 64 bit desktop. A number of times when have tried to open the program, the Adobe Application Manager has popped up requiring me to sign in even though I had not knowingly signed out. Lightroom will not launch unless I am signed in. Frequently when Lightroom launches, I see a "Server Busy" message telling me to "switch to the other program" without telling me which program to switch to. I have pinned the AAM to my notification area and have unchecked the "Show OS Notifications box" to see if the "Server Busy" message goes away. So far everything seems to be okay
    Again, thanks for answering me

  • What happens when error record

    Hi ABAP Gurus,
Iam phaneendra can anybody explain in detail
what happens when there is an error record exist while updating a session in session method and in call transaction.
ie, out of 10 records 7th one is error let it be then what happens to 6 redords that 7th record and 8th 9th 10th records.
and also what is assychronous and synchronous
    process .thatly in updation.
good answers( helpful answers must be rewarded)
    regards,
    phaneendra.

    Hi,
In Session Method all the 9 records will be updated except the &7th record(error record). u can get the error information in SM35.
In call tranasction method it depends upon the mode(A,N,E). In all screen mode system will stop at 7th record and all the previous 6 records will processed. In No screen mode all the 9 records will be updated except the 7th record(error record). and track the error u have to use BDCMSGCOLL in ur program(for call transaction).
Asyn-- System does not wait for Acknowledgement. but in Syn--- System waits for acknow.  For this reson Asyn process is fast as compare to Sync.
    Thnaks,

  • What happens when subscription ends

    Good Morning,
I have cancelled  my dw subscription, just a few days ago, ( it was a cost thing) So today i clicked to see what happens when I open it, it opened but a screen just says to go to my account to straight in  out payment info, but also say you have 66 days, for what?  If anyone else has cancelled what have they found, I have moved onto Coda 2 and seems good, I do most of my own coding, Thx RJ

Sounds like you paid ahead of time a bit, and canceled with 66 days left on your subscription. You will still be able to use the program for the remainder of the time you have paid, but get a reminder that your subscription is expiring.
After that paid time runs out, you won't be able to use the program at all until you re-up the subscription.

  • What happens when buffers fill up?

I guess this is a pretty basic question but my application is here. What happens when a buffer gets full? Does it stop reading and throw an exception or does it keep reading but destroy the information it received at the beginning? They question related to an application where I'd like, when an event is triggered, to store the last 10 seconds on video.

i think you might get an exception (Array out of bound). Somehow it depends on how u implement your buffer.

    Hi,
a parameter, that is set higher "than allowed" is NEVER replaced by any substitution value !!!
=> if it is correct, it will work - otherwise the system might not drive up or fail otherwise ...
Unfortunately, there are MANY parameters, where you should use values, that are "not allowed" and even a lot of parameters, that are totally unknown - all of them work as you set them ... hopefully with useful values ...
9000 in this case is recommended in nearly every GoingLiveCheck by SAP )

  • What happens when an iPod is synchronized with an iTunes library that is bigger than the available space on the iPod?

What happens when an iPod is synchronized with an iTunes library that is bigger than the available space on the iPod? I did this some time ago. On screen was shown available space somewhat less than 120 GB, but maybe somewhere between 10 and 20 GB more in the library. I had to get the iPod updated anyway, so I did proceed. However, afterwards the total content of the library was only about 110 GB. Now I wonder what did actually happen. Was the first sign only corrected for double copies of the same files or lost files or where files deleted from iTunes? And if files where deleted from iTunes, were they also deleted from my computer?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.
