Try reinstalling or restarting the AMDS.

Hy there,
In order for you to solve this problem you have to follow these stept if your running windows:
1'st step is to go into the device manager
2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)
3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers
4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that your itunes will pump up alown and youl see your iphone right there.

Help. I have a new ipad which had 238 photos and it only would share 190 with my phone. I pretty much just deleted his stuff, reset to dfault to get my clock and calendar back. The biggest problem now is my old icons show up but wont launch so I figured I coul delete them then re install them but HIS apple account keeps showing up with his account info. How do I change that to get my name and password back on there?
Stupid I know but I cant take it back.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your data. It sounds like you need to sign into your own Apple ID again on the iPad, then download your previously purchased iPad apps again. We have an article on how to do exactly this, and it can be found right here:

Also, you may want to consider signing up for a free iCloud account and turning on automatic backups. This will allow you to back up your iPad in the background and without connecting to a computer, so that this issue of data loss will be minimized if this sort of issue ever happens again:

Just to be clear: Tap on the Photos app to start the app. Then tap on Albums at the bottom of the screen. You might have several albums but only one is named "Camera Roll." Are there photos in that album?
If there are NO photos in the Camera Roll album there are no pictures to import. The remaining albums might have come from a sync with your computer or they might be your PhotoStream.
If there ARE photos in the Camera Roll album, connect your iPhone to your computer and start your camera application on the computer. Your phone should be recognized as a camera.

When you connect your iPhone to your computer, an iPhone icon should appear in iTunes in the left column under Devices. But if it doesn't, this troubleshooting assistant can help.

I've seen this happen when the phone was encrypted... Other than calling apple/deleting passcodes I don't know of any solution.
If you're keen on waiting, upload your photos to dropbox, that's the way I do it.

Hi there kburgee! Other can be anything from App Data (information saved from apps like game progress, or passwords) to or old messages that you haven't deleted! The absolute best way to clean up some space is to restore your iPhone.

The screen does work though! Through trial and error along side a little troubleshooting, I was able to figure out that the screen will cut on after the phone dies completely. The phone has to die completely with no battery power left. Then if I plug the phone into a charge and wait a while for it to charge, the phone will turn on like nothing was ever even wrong with it. I charge the phone up to like 30% and turn it off then bam the phone turns on but the screen is solid black again.
I am currently in the process of waiting for the phone to die and when I turn the phone back on I am going to completely remove the auto-lock and lock code off of the phone for the time being.
Any other suggestions? Please help!

Did you have your phone backed up to icloud or to another computer?
connect your iPhone to your computer with a usb cable
open iTunes
go to Storage
find the "Restore" button
click on it.
your data will be restored.
