When is Adobe going to change InDesign
Adobe needs to change InDesign CS5 so you can save back to CS3, CS2, CS just the same as Illustrator where you can do a "save as" wright back to Illustrator 3.
So do you want it to act like QuarkXPress or any other page layout program?
When Illustrator saves to a lesser format, it destroys or dumbs down the features in the more recent version. You won't see a gradient mesh in Illustrator 88 format. It is essentially an 'export', not a 'save'. InDesign can also export to a format that can be placed in older versions of InDesign.

and sorry to say Parkinson's does not means you have total lose of control over your body or hands.
it just makes things a little difficult to do things.
like most of us have just a little shaky hand syndrome and need some things to help us with stability when doing art drawings or painting.
even as you get older people who still like to draw and paint in their 60 yrs + have shaky hands and need help with it to still do their work.
does not mean they have Parkinson's at all.
just even normal people when you get older will ended up with shaky hands.
its all part of aging.
why you think most doctors retire before their 60 cause they can't hold a knife or any thing to do their work any more cause of it.
but art it totally different and a addon to adobe photoshop for stabilization for brushes and stuff should be added in to the program.
and stabilization can start from 0 - 100 or more the more higher the value for it the strong the stabilization is to help support the movement you want to do like straight lines and circles and curves and whatever.
the best one I seen so far to date that works great is in manga studio 5 +.
its part of the brushes and it can be check on or off for if you want to use it or not or just have a small amount of value to help out make better lines and curves with.when is Adobe going to add stabilization to brushes in photoshop ?
As far as I know the Adobe employees who thankfully drop by these user Fora are not at liberty to comment on future Photoshop features.

If i understand your problem correctly, you are trying to change SID.
You got this error while creating service and you mentioned SAPService<TGT SID> as username. Did you create this user in target system (or target system domain, if target system is in domain) and assign all groups manually. If not do it and create service it will start.

When are Adobe going to make it easier to deploy flash player to the enterprise????
I've been deploying flash player for well over 5 years now and in that time the deployment has only got very marginally better.
Why do they continue to allow installs just to fail when the control is in use??? I've written vbscripts to kill the handle to the ocx activex file, rename the ocx to .old which allows the installax.exe install utility to complete without errors. When Internet explorer next relaunches it uses the new control and the old one can be deleted. Why can't they incorporate this kind of logic into their installs?
Why do Adobe insist on using rubbish exe routines inside msi's that are perfectly capable of installing applications and don't just bomb out at the first sign of a difficulty? Using custom installer routines inside msi's makes it very difficult for people who have more than adequate repackaging and software deployment experience to be able to customise and get around the difficulties that Adobe forces upon us.
When are Adobe going to realise that the way they are releasing updates for flash player is costing companies a lot of money in company's helpdesk and systems team's time spent supporting and troubleshooting their buggy installs? At best I've only experienced a 95% success rate with flash player deployments. Some people might say "what am I complaining about?" and "that's to be expected". This has only been the case with weeks of work to fix the flaws in the flash player install routines. However 5% failure on 4000 machines is 200 possible help desk calls and 200 people not able to use various applications, view web content etc. Before we invested the time in scripting to get around the installer flaws the success rate was closer to 75%, that's 1000 out of 4000 that were failing. Does anyone think that's acceptable considering how widely it's used?
What has Adobe got planned for enabling large businesses to manage the deployment of flash player better? They've done it with other products why can't they do it with flash player?
For software deployment teams this is a constant and ever present headache.

I can't even check the opening times for my dentist on this bloody iPad, I need the full Internet.
Have a go at your d**n dentist. Embedding opening times in Flash is idiotic.
Then have a go at Adobe, whoi announced recently that they will no longer develop Flash for mibile devices.
Then have a go at yourself, for buying a porduct which, from the start, has never supported Flash and whose maker has stated many times in the most public way that it never will. Steve Jobs ignited a major debate early in 2010 when he published a very public statement to that effect.
Finally, consider (seruiously) selling the iPad and replacing it with one of the other tablets that does support Flash. There are other, decent, tablets out there that work pretty well. -
It's not that I don't like change, in fact I love it. However, the way tabs open and new windows open needs to go back to the original format. Sure it's a fancy transition but it is more annoying than nice. I never complain about things like this, in fact this will be my first ever complaint about a browser, I quit using explorer, and it looks like I'm going to start again until they change the format of this upgrade. I will not get use to it, I refuse to and everyone else I know feels the same way.
This solved my problem but in upgrading when layout changes occur there should be some kind of forewarning telling those who upgrade, those steps as a precaution. So we all don't go "insane" and start posting our frustrations. Last question, I noticed that uploading pictures has issues too, you can't select the picture and hit shift to select others

When is Adobe going to fix Warp Stabilizer?
I asked this question back in February but I only got one reply. Warp Stabilizer may provide decent footage stabilization, but it is incredibly poorly coded, especially when compared to Mercalli Pro, or the Edius 7 Pro stabilizer, which I believe is a lite version of Mercalli Pro. One would think that since it was introduced at least 3 years ago (I can't remember if the first version it came with was CS6 or a previous one), Adobe would have troubleshot it and fixed its terrible performance. I mean, we're not talking about a stabilizer that is half as slow as Mercalli Pro. Warp Stabilizer is 14.5 times slower than Mercalli Pro. These are times for one minute of footage, the same footage in both NLEs:
Edius Pro 7 Stabilizer: 29 seconds
Premiere Pro Warp Stabilizer normal analysis and solving: 12 minutes 16 seconds
Warp Stabilizer detailed analysis and solving: 14 minutes 28 seconds
This is on a six core i7 3930k CPU with 32 GB of RAM and two GTX770 cards with 4 GB each (even though WP doesn't use the graphics card for analyzing and solving, only for playback)
And the terrible analyzing and solving times are not the only problem. If you decide to run WP on a long clip, say 13 minutes long, even after the two hours that it takes to analyze and solve, the next time you open that project, be prepared to not be able to use Premiere for who knows how long. I say who knows because about 30 minutes ago I opened Premiere, loaded the project, and it froze completely when it was loading the footage files. For the last half hour, Premiere has been stuck with the spinning circle mouse pointer. Task Manager shows that Premiere has zero CPU usage and about 3 GB of RAM usage. So it's doing nothing at all, just frozen because Warp Stabilizer is one of the worst coded pieces of software not only from Adobe, but from any company.
Putting aside the terrible analyzing and solving times, and the eternal wait next time you load the project, there's the fact that as soon as you use WP on a few clips, or on one long clip, saving times are unbearably slow.
So I'm just asking, what makes a company with the huge resources Adobe has, not only launch a plugin that performs so terrible, but also doing nothing to fix it for three years or more?In this case, yes, I have a 13 minute long take that I have to stabilize. However, the original footage clip is a few minutes longer, so I'm not trying to stabilize the full clip, only most of it.
I could spend a lot of money on the plugin, but I usually don't have a lot of footage that needs stabilization. Besides, I already have the plugin that came bundled with Edius 6, so I just use that when I need to. However, since Adobe advertises Warp Stabilizer as part of Premiere, and the plugin is absolutely dreadful, it seems to me that it's false advertising. I would much rather use WP in my Premiere project rather than having to load the footage in Edius and then export to a gigantic file to avoid losing picture quality.
As for drive space, I have two 3 TB very fast hard drives that have plenty of empty space. Besides, Mercalli Pro in Edius analyses and solves this long clip in about ten minutes, as opposed to the over two hours WP needs for the same clip. In fact, in Premiere I only applied WP to part of the clip, when in Edius I loaded the original AVCHD clip so I can just do a replace in Premiere and have the same ins and outs. -
When is Adobe going to start offering ACE exams for its CS5 products?
I am most interested in getting the CS5 Web Specialist certification (Dreamweaver, Flash Pro, and either Photoshop or Illustrator). I have asked multiple departments at Adobe over the phone and even called Pearson VUE, the company Adobe outsources its testing to. Nobody seems to know the answer to this question. If you're not sure, please let me know who might be able to answer this question, it's actually pretty pressing. Thank you very much in advance.

When is Adobe going to overhaul 'import frames to layers' in PS?
I think it's absolutely genius, but I dislike the setup of the window design. It's been the same for the longest.
For the most part, everything is good, except when choosing the frames.
I've had trouble choosing good areas to edit even with videos that are 5 minutes in length. It's terrible to find the right spot for very lengthy videos/movies.
Why cant there be a timestamp option? [input the exact spot you'd like the frames to begin]
What about tweaking the adjustors to stop skipping like 20 frames at a time [on longer videos]?
Adding in a mouse scrolling option?
Frame zoom option [as if it were in Premiere Pro or something]?

Inconsistency between or among applications in the artificial "suites" should come as no surprise.
The "suite" concept is a fabrication of Adobe marketing and bean-counting types. The engineering teams are totally independent of each other, they are not only in different buildings but in different cities and states of the American Union, even in different countries.
The fact that they have little if any communication among them is highlighted by requests occasionally made in these forums by top Adobe engineers to let the other teams know when there are problems in one application that impact our workflow in another one. -

Every time they go after a fake site, another replaces it within minutes of the first being taken down, and even that is a lengthy process, because Adobe has to pursue international legal action in most cases, which can take months or years. -
When is Adobe going to support 64bit, I7 CPU's in Elements and Lightroom?
I have an I7, 64bit computer almost exclusively for multitasking photoshop exercises. It appears that both elements and Lightroom only use one of the eight cores. this is very inefficient for me. Any clues as to when support for these high end computers will be forthcoming?
Hmm, when I use File > Process Multiple Files to convert a dozen raw files to PSDs, resizing them as well, I see both CPUs on my machine being used:
In general, I think that the full Photoshop does use multiple CPUs for compute-intensive tasks, and the PSE Editor, a stripped-down version of full Potoshop, also uses multiple CPUs. How well it does that, I don't know. -

When is Adobe going to fix the problem of updating Creative Cloud
Since September last year, updating Creative Cloud has been a problem.
Every time I try to update I receive a failure message. The "temporary" solution last September was to rename the Creative Cloud folder and try again.
This problem still exists, and requires a permanent fix.
