I have recently got an iPhone 4 out of no where it has decided to think that my headphones are in and they are not but does work with headphones in.

I imagine millions upon millions of people are attempting to download and install it right now. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + a few million more.

Hi Shell126 - We certainly want you to be able to easily manage the account while so far from home! Have you tested a different web browser? Also try clearing the cookie and temporary internet files on your current browser. I am eager to help get this resolved!

When trying to upload my podcast, I keep getting the error message, "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." I have verified that my artwork meets specifications.

My artwork meets the specifications though I have gotten error messages stating that 300x300, 600x600, and 1400x1400 are the proper format. I have tried all of these. I've only gotten the artwork error message a couple of times. The most common error message I receive is, as stated above, "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." I have tried uploading the podcast from a different computer and on an different network. Have any of you had this same issue, been able to work through it?

When I try to update my Credit Card information in the app store and submit, I get a message, "cannot connect to iTunes, try again later" and "iTunes is unable to process your request, try again later" My billing info IS CORRECT.

Unpower it. If it still happens on a restart give it time - Apple's servers sometimes have glitches.

Possible causes of this error:
Your antivirus or firewall is blocking access to Apple's activation servers at gs.apple.com
Your router or ISP is blocking access to the site
Your phone is hacked or jailbroken
Your computer was used to hack or jailbreak an iOS device at some time in the past, and as a result your computer's hosts file is corrupted.

There are four possible causes of the activation error:
The activation server is unavailable. Rare, but it happens. Usually fixed within minutes.
Your antivirus or firewall (or your router's firewall) is blocking access to the domain gs.apple.com on ports 80 and 443.
Your phone is jailbroken.
Your phone isn't jailbroken, but the computer you are connected to during the restore or update was used to hack or jailbreak some other iOS device, and its network database was corrupted in the process.
Perhaps this will provide you some clues as to how to proceed. If your iPhone has not been jailbroken, Apple has some troubleshooting suggestions here:

This problem has been driving me demented. The instructions that Ivan gives have partially worked for me. By following his link
"How to find out if you have multiple Apple IDs" I was able to identify that yes I did have two apple accounts using the same e mail address. One was very old that I used to use for the forum boards and one is my much more recent ID that I use for everything these days. So I changed the e mail address for the old account which is associated with these discussion boards and that's the account that I am now posting this from. However even though the two accounts now have different e mail addresses when I try to log onto the boards with my more recent main apple ID I still get all the same errors as described at the start of this thread by rodgers_j. And of course that's the one I want to use so that I only have one itunes account for everything.
So if anyone has any more hints I'd be very grateful.
