Where is oracle.jdeveloper.jsp.wb.PoolAdministrator in jdeveloper 10.1.3.2.
Try to upgrade an old developed jsp page to use in Oracle application server 10g. However, when compile with jdeveloper 10.1.3.2.0 there's few error occured. Which one of it was oracle.jdeveloper.jsp.wb.PoolAdministrator no longer available. I thought i might have been deprecated, but there's no document found regarding this.
Anyone know about this ?
cheers,
What release of JDeveloper are you using where you have a oracle.jdeveloper.jsp.wb.PoolAdministrator class?
I checked the earliest build on my machine (9.0.3.4) and don't find it in there.

Error deploying oracle report JSPs in Jdeveloper.
Hi,
I am trying to deploy and run a report created using oracle Report tool(comes with oracle 10g developer suite). I did the below steps.
1. I created a web layout report in oracle reports tool.
2. Open Jdeveloper (which comes in developer suite).
3. Create a new project in Jdeveloper. selected to create new "report component" from new. Copied my oracle report to this jsp page.(Report run time was automatically added to the libraries of the project created)
4. Run using embedded oc4j and report was successfully run.
5. Created a deployment profile for WAR. Created a war successfully. Then created an EAR.
6. Right click deployment profile and configured standalone oc4j connected(connection1). Tested the connection. The test connection was success.
7. Then right clicked the deployement profile and clicked deploy to connection1.
8. The EAR file was deployed but in the standalone OC4J, it is showing few errors.

Where can i get Oracle JDeveloper 9i Handbook exercise source code?
Hi
I'm studying JDeveloper 10g by read the book <<Oracle JDeveloper 9i Handbook >> which written by Peter Koletzke,Paul Dorsey and Avrom Faderman, Where can i get exercise source code? In chapter 13,I can't create the application module AccountantPromotionModule, who can help me or some idea?
thank you
li xinzhu
2004.9.2Hi,
You can download source code for the 9i Handbook from either of the following websites:
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Peter_Koletzke
http://www.dulcian.com
Note that, if you're using Oracle JDeveloper 10g (rather than Oracle9i JDeveloper), you might be interested in the just-published Oracle JDeveloper 10g Handbook. Oracle JDeveloper 10g has some very significant differences from Oracle9i JDeveloper--especially the introduction of Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)--and these are covered in the new book but not the old one.
If you do get the new book, you can download code for it (or rather, will be able to by the end of this week) from either of the above websites or from
http://avromroyfaderman.com
Hope this helps,

If you do then I think something in your installation went wrong - the first step would then be to delete the system directory at: C:\Documents and Settings\youruser\Application Data\JDeveloper and restart JDeveloper. -

That is definitely a product manager - positioning question (forum ID: oalonso), so I'd recommend that you ask the same question in the SES forum. The Text team has been monitoring that forum and answering most of the posts there, so you'd probably be more likely to get your question answered.

Problem with BundleUtils class in Oracle JDeveloper 11g Cookbook
Hi All,
While practising Using a custom exception class, in the first chapter of Oracle Jdeveloper 11g cookbook, author states:
Note that in the Using a generic backing bean actions framework recipe
in this chapter, we refactored the code in getMessage() to a reusable
BundleUtils.loadMessage() method. Consequently, we changed the
ExtJboException getMessage() in that recipe to the following:
+public String getMessage() {+
return BundleUtils.loadMessage(this.getErrorCode(),
this.getErrorParameters());
+}+
Whereas no details of BundleUtils class is given in Using a generic backing bean actions framework recipe, which is giving compilation errors for CommonActions class.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
BilalBilal,
you are missing some points here. This is the jdev and adf forum. We don't have access to the code you mention. So we can't help you as long as you don't post the code here (which I doubt you are allowed to).
Next, if you read https://forums.oracle.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=56 you should have noticed that without giving at least your jdev version, help is hart to get.
As said in the other thread, you should drop Nick a note so he can clarify this issue.

Help on Debug Mode in Oracle JDeveloper 10g/OC4J
Hi All,
Presently I am using Oracle JDeveloper 10g Early Access version
ADF Business Components 10.1.3.34.12
Java™ Platform 1.5.0_05
Oracle IDE 10.1.3.34.12
PMD JDeveloper Extension 1.7
and OC4J.
I want to debug all the Java files between request submission and getting response from the server in j2ee application. This we can do in eclipse ide by putting break points where ever we require and running the server in debugging mode. But I don't know how this can be done in JDeveloper/OC4J. Please can any one of you guide me, if you are aware of it. Thanks in advance.
-immuIf you mean remote debugging the application on a stand alone OC4J then here is a basic how-to:
