definitely.
i mostly use flash and haven't found any need for cc. but there are definitely reasons to keep flash pro cs6.
and you may find if you continue using adobe products that saving source files for other users becomes an issue unless you save older versions. typically, (with flash pro at least) you can save to the current version and one version older. after a few years, the current version cannot save for older versions and you may work with someone that only has an older version.

Your photo is using legacy processing version (2003 or 2010). Click the lightning bolt up near histogram, or use process drop-down at bottom in dev module (right panel, camera cal section) to use current processing version (2012).

Why must I have Internet access and be logged into Adobe to use Photoshop Elements?

I can not use Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 unless I have Internet access and log into an Adobe account. Why? This means you can't install the software on a laptop and use it while traveling unless you have 100% Internet access throughout your trip. What a load of ....... Why is this? I there a way around it?

Why do I have "Unified Info" and plain "Info" categories in my iPhone Contacts?

I have an iPhone 3GS (iOS 5.0.1), an iMac (OS X v10.7.3) and an iCloud account. All are set to sync several things, but the topic of this inquiry is my Contacts. I've noticed that when I open any given Contact listing on my iPhone, each is headed by one of two lines: "Unified Info" or plain "Info." At the bottom of a "Unified Info" contact listing are two lines showing me "Linked Cards," one being for iCloud and the other for iPhone. On the one headed plain "Info" there are no Linked Cards showing at the bottom of the contact listing. As noted above, my system is set so that the Contacts in my iPhone, my iCloud account and my iMac (which is further set to keep both my and my wife's contacts sync'd, as well) all read the same. So why do I have these two "types" of entries on my iPhone? I should note that all the important information in all three places (iPhone, iMac and iCloud) - name, numbers, addresses, etc. - IS THE SAME, but why do they have diffefent headings on my iPhone!?! Any explanation from someone knowledgeable about this would be appreciated, and is there any way I can get - or should want to get - all the Contact entries on my iPhone to be "Unified Info" entries? I've got the same problem. Showed up after trying they 'sync google contacts' feature in Address Book/iTunes. Suddenly I have duplicates of all my Contacts. Address Book doesn't see any duplicates using the 'Find Duplicates...' feature. In Address Book I can only tell the difference between the duplicates by comparing the information in them. The new ones (presumably from Google) are missing fields like URL and birthday. On the iPhone, however, the names have these squares after them. These squares don't show up in Address Book (if they did it would make it much easier to delete them all).

I'm getitng the same thing. I'm beyond sick of this iPad. It's a third generation Retina Display and it turned into a pile of cat turds after iOS 7. It got so bad I restored it and used iCloud. It was still god awful. I restored it and didnt use the iCloud backup and hoped that whatever was wrong would be avoided....nope. IF I can get a download going it nearly kills my entire iPad. I will open the cover and wait over 30 seconds just for the screen to light up. I will hit the home button to close an app and wait nearly a minute in some cases for it to actually close. Then to top off all the annoyances it just fails and loops over and over.
I bought Apple products to avoid stuff like this. Very unhappy.

Why does Adobe have to try and foist unwanted programs?

I have just had to tiptoe my way through updating Adobe Flash Player. Had I not chosen the Advanced option of downloading and installing the update, I would have had my browser changed for me (plus other anomalies, it appeared). Thinking I had navigated and avoided this pitfall, there were at least another six or eight programs which would have been installed had I clicked on the Accept button (which appeared to be simply agreeing to the Conditions, but weren't).
I am furious at this blatant attempt to install 'foistware' on my computer. Why would a, presumably responsible, company feel the need to stoop this low? I can imagine there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people now wondering how they can get rid of these quite unnecessary programs and changes to their computers.

I DID get the 'middle pane' - which I am very used to seeing and, as always, unchecked the box to receive the unwanted programs (I already have Google Chrome AND an excellent anti-virus program - thanks all the same!).
But it then went on to offer me additional programs. I did not take any screenshots as I was not expecting all this palaver. And I don't remember what the programs were that I was offered either. I just wanted to get on with the download and get on with my business. I was getting very frustrated though. As I said earlier, underneath the small dialog window which was offering these programs (and which, if I remember aright, was inside the main window) - the "Accept" and "Decline" buttons were still visible BUT it looked as if the "Accept" button was the only active one (being highlighted) whereas the "Decline" button was greyed out. And, as I said before, it 'looked' as if one needed to click the "Accept" button to agree to the Conditions of downloading (which is quite normal, as you know).
But being of a wary nature and hopefully not as gullible as some, I tentatively clicked on the "Decline" button anyway - and it worked. The offer of those one or two extra programs was then replaced by one or two more - in the same type of small window. Having learned my lesson, I continued to decline and eventually got to the end. But this experience did make me feel most irritated, as I indicated in my original post. It should not be necessary to be expected to jump through all these misleading hoops just to update an every day program, should it?

Apple can only sell in a particular country's store what the content providers/rights-holders grant them licenses to sell. Have you checked to see if they are available on other film/TV programme apps that you have access to ? e.g. is Netflix available in your country and have they got them ?

Why do I have to Open and physically Save a provided .xlsx File in order to source it and process it in SSIS?

It sounds CRAZY...but it's true and I proved it out over many tests...
We receive a .xlsx File from an outside vendor. If we simply move the file over to our processing Path and then try to source it and process it in SSIS, we get this error...

Error at Data Flow Task [Excel Source [1]]: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB Error has occurred.

However, if we open the file and Save It and/or Save As to our processing library path, we can source the .xlsx File and process it accordingly.
Why is this? Is it because something funky is happening under the covers when the the vendor creates and saves the .xlsx File and then when we open and save it on our network it then cleans it up?
Is there anyway that we can get around this? I hate for the processing clerk to have to go through what seems like a meaningless task....but I cannot think of any way around this if we cannot source the original file. And a C# Edit Script using Microsoft.Interpol.Excel
is not possible because we are not allowed to put Microsoft Office on the Server where the SSIS Package will eventually reside.
Any thoughts...suggestions...etc...would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sooooo I think what you're saying is that it is a Microsoft Office 2010 .xlsx File but utilizing the 32-bit Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 only allows me to source as Microsoft Excel 2007.
Nowwww....this will run on a Server...soooo a couple of questions...
1.) Are you saying I need to use the 64-bit Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 in order to process this file without having to open and Save it? Can I do that if we're running Microsoft Office 32-bit? Will I be able to source this on the Server because
we cannot install Microsoft Office 2010 on the Server where this SSIS Package will live and breathe.
2.) How can I tell which Microsoft Access Database 2010 Engine is on the server where this will eventually reside and run? 32-bit or 64-bit?

Why do I have to unplug and reconnect my pointing device before Solaris will recognize it?

I have tinkered with linux a little, but on the whole I am new to *nix (I bought an Ultra 20 Workstation pretty much because I wanted to teach it to myself), so I apologize in advance if I am being stupid. I also apologize if this is the wrong forum - I'm honestly a little confused by the various fora available here (the Hardware forum seems to be dedicated more to SPARC stuff, but maybe 'm wrong about that).<br />
Anyway, I use a USB Cirque Glidepoint for preference, but the same problem arises with the mouse Sun included in the box: my Ultra 20 recognizes both of them and works with them just fune, but ONLY if I unplug them and reattach them at some point after booting to the login screen (I'm using the Java Desktop). In contrast, it has no trouble with the keyboard, even though it's actually a PS/2 keyboard plugged into a USB adaptor (assuming that makes a difference).
This is not a critical problem, but fishing around behind the computer with a flashlight every time I boot is a little annoying. And I cannot believe there is no way to make it behave.
Of further note, a soft reboot (as in, without powering it all the way off) also requires me to re-plug the pointing device. However, I have not encountered any need to do so at any other time (as in, it has not yet spontaneously stopped paying attention to the pointing device or otherwise gotten obviously glitchy about it). I have also not yet actually installed any software that did not come preinstalled. Still figuring that out, too.
I am not afraid to tinker with unix guts, but I am very inexperienced at it, so I again apologize if this is somehow a stupid question with an obvious answer. If someone could take pity upon me and help me fix this, I would be greatful.

This is a good question. It's possible your Xserver isn't configured for the correct mouse type. Try logging into a command line console (no X11 running). Run /usr/bin/X11/X -configure. It should create an Xorg configuration file in your root directory.
Copy this to /etc/X11/Xorg.conf and try restarting your Xserver. The file it creates might require some tweaking.

Why do I have no cursor and cannot click on anything in Facebook app games?

I use a Mac and updated Firefox to version 3.6. Ever since, I have not been able to click in any facebook app game that I play. The cursor doesn't even show up. I used to love Firefox, but not anymore. Please tell me if there is a way to fix this. Thank you in advance for your help.

Unfortunately although this should have solved the problem (because the loudspeaker Ringer and Alerts slider sound and the Ringtone sounds are not turned off by having the headphone inserted) it did not.
I changed the headphone jack for a known good one and put the one from my machine in another iPad.
There was no improvement in my machine and the jack works normally in the other iPad.
Any other suggestions ?
